You decide to loot the dead gull, waste not want not and all. You ask Iris as she is closer. As it turns out this was a prety ragged old gull. It was emaciated, it's feathers were worn out, it even had fleas. After carfully searching though Iris announced, "Oh! Loock there was a strange copper coin in the gull's crop." Hón interjects upon seeing the coin, "That's an Amata minted copper piece, worth one of your copper notes. I wonder how that bird came by it?" Yeah you wonder that to...

Well on to more important things.
A) continue treasure hunt.
B) transfer demon. *
C) head back to town.
D) ooh! are those conch beries. why don't we all have a snack.
1) stay and watch.
2) search for monsters and other threats.
3) search for valuables.
4) search for people.
5) head out and check the crash site.
*note: choose one letter and one number, unless you pick B in which case you don't get to pick a number as the wanderer will be occupied.

This. If possible, offer a quick survey to make sure no monsters are nearby, then go into the transfer.

Now that things have calmed down it dawns on you that, that demon thingy is still in Corva's bag. You're outside of town now and you have the ward box, now may be a good time to put that demon in it. You voice your opinion to Iris while she stares at the little copper coin she dug out of the bird. She looks up then calls out, "Corva! Could you come here, you to sis." Corva replies, "What is it this time?" Iris responds, "I think its time we free up your bag, we should be far enough from town now after all." She then removes the warded box from her bag. You then tell Bubbles and Iris to follow your instructions, if last time was any indicator they won't be able to see the spook but you will. Bubbles takes the bag from Corva and Iris opens the box. At your command Bubbles moves the bag into position then opens the bag. You spot the creepy little doll ghoul thingy trying to slip free and you direct Bubbles and Iris to use their respective warded containers to corral the the specter. Twenty minutes of this later and Iris is slamming the box shut on a newly re-trapped demon. Bubbles then hands Corva back her bag, which Corva begins rifling through. Corva then moans, "Arg... That blasted spook ruined my trail rations and my blank rani slips all have weird time and decay doodles on them, they're useless now. Iris hand me that box when we get to Delta Vera I'm selling that spook to the first curio we can find."

What would have happened if we failed in the transfer? Would the doll be running loose and cursing everything in sight

For some reason you feel like you should head back to town. It doesn't make much sense but you just have a feeling. You tell Bubbles and Iris what you are thinking, and ask the latter to hand the "ghoul in a box" to Hón after he was the one the ghost was latched onto originally. Iris speaks up, "Hey Hón could you hold onto the ward box for me, I think your the most fitting choice all things considered." He replies, "If that is your wish. I will be sure to keep it safe." Bubbles then speaks up, "Alright mr. Wanderer says we should head back toward town. So lets head that way, as I for one am inclined to trust him." Corva interjects, "What!? I thought the whole reason for coming out here was to fetch some off shore shooting star thingy. Why are we turning back all of a sudden?" Iris replies, "He says he's not sure but he feels its what we should do." Corva complains, "This whole following the lead of a spook bit is really getting old." But she starts walking toward town any way. You really wish she could here you so you could tell her to can that attitude. Any way you decide to look for anything valuable while the group walks. After all you're much quicker and freer. Its not long before you spot something fairly obvious, namely the big conch shell from yesterday. Its even been cleaned thanks to that crab earlier. You head over and point it out. Bubbles takes charge as she quietly marches toward the shell. She then boasts, "Alright I bet I can kick this shell all the way to town in one kick. One free talisman to the winner. Any takers?" Corva accepts, "I'll take that. Lets see what you got." You have to admit even you are intrigued. First Bubbles' feet begin to glow blue, then ice begins to form around the shell, then she goes into a spinning kick, then the shell goes careening in a flash of blue straight towards town. At first it looks as though it will go the distance, (props to the B girl) but then half way to town, the shell flips over something in the sand and crashes to a stop. Corva cheers/jeers, "Ha ha, I win, be sure to pay up." Oh you so want to smack her upside the head. Any way you head over to see what stopped the shell. You find a burlap sack half buried in the sand, and it clearly isn't empty. What is with this beach and its random stuff any way? So far you've found shells, herbs, a bottle, a staff, two spirit stones, an apothecary bag, and now this. Enough to strain credulity. Any way you point out the sack to your group. Iris digs this one up, and while she does you confirm the conch shell is undamaged, it is. When Iris opens the bag though she finds something no one expected. She holds in her hands an ornate throwing axe forged of a gold hued metal with an orange metal filigree on the hilt and brilliant scarlet jewels set into the head. The whole thing radiates power you can physically feel it. (Or meta-physically feel it any way) Corva is the first to speak, "This is an Ingnatis hand axe, forged by the legendary flame smith of Jopp, the great Argram Ingnatis." Her voice filled with uncharacteristic awe. Iris then queries, "Is that a good thing." Corva baulks, "Are you kidding? This axe's cost could bankrupt a small country. Its imbued with virtually unlimited fire magic and its practically indestructible. People would commit genocide to lay claim to this blade. H*** people have committed genocide for one of these blades. This is beyond valuable." Bubbles then chimes in, "Yah but a couple of small problems with that. Firstly if this thing is so priceless, how are we supposed to sell it? Secondly it doesn't really matter how powerful this axe is, as none of us here know how to use axes."
