Oh s*** I actually won an award and it's for King Awesome himself.
Well it would only be appropriate if Bowser made an acceptance speech.
Bowser in all his glory wearing his tuxedo (the same one he was wearing from the opening movie in Super Paper Mario) walks towards the sage while making a face towards Palkia. "Tough break chump," Bowser says to the doll in the cat carrier. Bowser is followed by his son Bowser Jr and his loyal minion Kammy. Bowser's minion were present with some of the Koopa Troopa in tears, the Goombas were cheering "your the best Bowser,", the Boo buddies were there wearing adorable Boo ties and they began spinning in a circle.
Finally, even though he wasn't nominated Mario was there (mainly in support of Rosalina) but even he had to tip his hat at his rival winning best adapted character.
Bowser took the award from the Anna like host and pulled out some papers and glasses. "It's about dam time you all recognized my greatness, I would say I am honored but well I knew I was going to win so Gwa ha ha," Bowser said. "Whether it was incredible good looks, my awesome strength, or my impressive flames, that stupid doll and frankly none of you losers stood a chance," Bowser said while it looked like he was getting dirty looks. "Now now if we ever have another one of these awards then I be glad to stomp you again next time, but I guess I have to thank some people even if they aren't as important as me," Bowser said as he looked at his list.
"First I would like to thank my son, because well look how awesome he is," Bowser said as Jr took a bow.
"Next I would thank my loyal minions over there, thank you for being the best punching bags out there and letting me do my thing," Bowser said as some of the minions were confused. "Also to my good friend Mario over there (as the spotlight flashed onto Mario) for once Bowser came out on top," Bowser said as Mario let out a laugh. "Hmm there's so many others to you the fans out there viewing from your devices, Peach, Evoglobins, Myself, etc. etc.," Bowser said as he began losing interest. "Anyways I can keep on talking and you could be basking in my greatness forever but well ,that loser X just wants to eat so he is cutting my time short I will have to have a talk with him about that, if I stand up here anymore I will have to start charging you don't get to bask in my greatness like this for free," Bowser said as he left the stage

When are the next awards? This has made me put down KH:DDD and get back to my CYOA's with vigor! I can feel the fire burning in my very souuuuuuuuuul!

I refuse to accept this. HD must have been bought out. Next Verse Awards, I will be hosting it myself. And no one can corrupt me or buy me out. In the meantime though, I am going to go rage and sob and murder someone.

Smexy, if I find out you voted for Pearl and Arc, you and I are going to have a nice little sit down. Obviously, all of the Nova people voted for Yancy- Except GX right? Please tell me you voted for the real best couple, otherwise I really am going to cry- and since there are more Nova people than not, Nova was going to win most categories. I knew that beforehand. It was innevitable. But who would vote for Pearl and Arc over couples like Vincent and Elia, Kanis and Trail, and even June and Paen!!! I don't get it!!!!

Hey now, look at the bright side, Neo. UB won a category with Trail becoming emperor. Better than nothing. Keep in mind some of us didn't win anything at all. Also, your other characters got elected for something, I believe.

Two votes. Two. Per person. And I bet the only people who voted for Vincent and Elia are me and GX. Even though, at the very least, they should be tied for best couple. And yet they aren't even mentioned. Because freaking Smexy Austur time. Let's face it, the only reason anyone voted for Pearl and Arc is because of those damn 30 pages. SM, you have absolutely no idea how angry I am at you right now.
And honestly, I think this whole thing is too imbalanced. I'm going to be radically changing the process next year.

Neo, you've got so many other categories you can still win in the not-as-prestigious awards! Though I don't think you actually have anyone/thing nominated... which you can easily fix. And if you don't, I will, to a lesser degree.
Also GX and Glurk aren't nominated in the "Best Romance Between a Jackson and a Georgia" category, nor is Toadett in... het category. I will not be the one to rectify these things.

I do agree that Yancy and Joshua are the best developed couple. Because they've had literal years and multiple RP topics to be developed. But that doesn't make them automatically better than every couple under the Sun. If I ran a poll and asked people why Yancy and Joshua are a better couple than, say, Vincent and Elia, how many people do you think would actually be able to give me a real answer? |

Neo. First. Remember that "best" is a very wise-reaching word. Which does not strictly mean best-written, best-developed, etc., and can be interpreted in many different ways, including most humorous, most interesting concept, and the like.
Second. Literally no one else is complaining. At all. About anything.
And third, don't be rude and tell HHD that his methods are flawed and that you'll be taking control and making big changes next year.
