What do you mean by high amount of characters on the rebels side?

Sonja's a laguz noble. And I can kinda see that conversation. "So you killed Commander Asshat because he ordered you to what now? (sigh) Great. Now I've got to find a new commander. What a pain. Eh, screw it. You'll do. Your first task is to head to the Asshat household and explain why Daddy's not coming home." And I've been trying to think of how to smear the rebels in a less favorable light. Subtlely. "I'm sorry Mrs. Asshat, but your husband had a tragic accident that ended in him falling onto a sharp blade, killing him." So Sonja could be the noble backing the militia lead by my character (still needs a name). What type of culture is it (for stuff like armor, weapons, etc.)?

Give them seedy origins and make them less Laguz-friendly. For the ship.Instead of posting that over and over again, why not put it in your sig or status and save yourself some trouble.

What do you mean by high amount of characters on the rebels side? Didn't you say that your characters would be rebels? HHD said his was going to be a rebel as well. Moral ambiguity is the main point though. For the ship.

What type of culture is it (for stuff like armor, weapons, etc.)? A relatively small fiefdom. Not particularly rich, but "we get by well enough." Mostly agricultural, but they also sell a lot of textiles.

Moral ambiguity is the main point though. For the ship.Nope. Both my characters are neutral. I toyed with the rebel idea for my 2nd character, but decided against it since it didn't fit their backstory. I know HHD is going on their side, but mine are simply neutral.

My character is going on the side of whoever's side he ends up on. His primary motivation is "stay medicated", "find a cure for hawk form", and "not die".
On the note of "laguz don't think about science", this guy's brain already isn't laguz. He's suffering from a human mental disorder, for some reason. I'd take issue over that before his skill set.
And yes, I do tend to overdo the science. LMGG is the first time I've actively tried to stay away from "how things work" and get more into "how people think", and that's also what I'm going for with this character.
Now I need a name and looks and stuff...

No, I mean like Oriental, Anglican, Slavic, Indian, etc. If so, can you guys walk me through this sort of stuff? I'm not familiar with how other IRL cultures make their weapons. Although... Can I have permission for the dancer class to be abe to use fist weapons like katars? They are small punching swords used to destroy armor... Or so I've heard.

Right, gonna PM you CDM. Something to do with 2nd MC's backstory... And how it will have to work. Somehow.

A katar would be classified as a knife, not a sword. They can be something she imported from another country, probably Catland.

Ah, right. Meant to say this earlier. The rebellion proper began 6 months ago, but is just now picking up speed. But there's been unrest for several years, with a few attempted rebellions quickly extinguished, the occasional local uprising...

Aw yeah! Who ya gonna call when you need an assassination? Dagger dancers! There's something strange in your duchy! Dagger dancers! /Theme song Kidding.
Alright, that clears things up for me a lot. I can factor in it as being a previous attempted rebellion. Good thing you posted that before I finished it...

Finally finished with my 2 MC. Still looking the first over for his appearance, and seeing what I like and don't. Will post later.
