Well, with that out of the way, I'm going to finish up the appearance and personality of my 2nd character, maybe finish a few background things for her if I don't like it, review both characters, fix some things, and then post them.

Oh, I forgot to mention, personally, I'm fine with HD's pseudo Alchemist Laguz. As long as the projectile/potion things he creates are checked by someone who really knows the FE universe(So probably me or CDM), I don't have a problem with it.
Alchemy stuff is cool. Nukes are not.

HHD tends to overdo the science.
And Laguz really don't do science, well, not that kind of science anyways.
So is there a restriction on what class tier we can start in?

That's not what I meant at all, Fen-Fen. You need to stop being so defensive. And I am home. This is my site.

Hey CDM, does this work as a backstory?
He grew up under a Laguz lord who was pretty lazy and just sort of let the people do their own thing. He joined the militia to defend against a radical cult and became a sergeant during that. Anyways, after some time, his commander gave an unreasonable order, so he challenged him to a fight to the death. He won, and then presented the head of his commander to his lord. This angered many of the other Laguz lord, but his lord was just like "Eh, now you're the commander" and so he is.

Coming up with an appearance for the 2nd MC is hard... Most difficult yet. I already have their character themes, age, name, and background, and I'm working on the personality, but appearance always get me. Never was good at explaining them.

And it almost sounds like you're describing Sonja, there...

Due to the higher amount of rebel PCs and a lack of anti-rebel lore, could you make the sides a bit more morally ambiguous so there aren't giant shiny "good guy" arrows pointing at the rebels?

Sonja's a laguz noble. And I can kinda see that conversation. "So you killed Commander Asshat because he ordered you to what now? (sigh) Great. Now I've got to find a new commander. What a pain. Eh, screw it. You'll do. Your first task is to head to the Asshat household and explain why Daddy's not coming home."
And I've been trying to think of how to smear the rebels in a less favorable light. Subtlely.

Give them seedy origins and make them less Laguz-friendly.
For the ship.
