In the beginning, Biessel was nothing but a barren wasteland. Two beings, Ziehen and Zeugen, wandered ceaselessly. As Ziehen travelled, she created the plants, green and vibrant, to ease her loneliness. As Zeugen travelled, he created the animals, wild and untamed, to ease his loneliness. Long, long did Ziehen and Zeugen travel, until all of Biessel was alive with their creation.
One day, Zeugen came upon Ziehen bathing in a stream. So surprised was he that he tried to hide himself, but Ziehen sought him in her loneliness. When the two met face-to-face, they embraced. From their union came twelve children. To each of their children, Ziehen and Zeugen granted a gift. A gift of creation. Their journey finished, Ziehen and Zeugen lay down together and entered an endless sleep.
The eldest son, fearsome Luwurl, created the dragons, with their longevity and dauntlessness. The newborn dragons named their newly founded country in his honor. His task complete, Luwurl became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over his creation.
The eldest daughter, graceful Iba, created the herons, with their beauty and song. The newborn herons named their newly founded country in her honor. Her task complete, Iba became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over her creation.
The 2nd son, mighty Lowen, created the lions, with their nobility and ferociousness. The newborn lions named their newly founded country in his honor. His task complete, Lowen became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over his creation.
The 2nd daughter, ageless Tyrion Lannister, created the phoenixes, with their vitality and warmth. The newborn phoenixes named their newly founded country in her honor. Her task complete, Tyrion Lannister became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over her creation.
The 3rd son, sharp-eyed Gauren, created the hawks, with their keen sense and powerful wings. The newborn hawks named their newly founded country in his honor. His task complete, Gauren became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over his creation.
The 3rd daughter, trickster Vanta, created the crows, with their wisdom and foresight. The newborn crows named their newly founded country in her honor. Her task complete, Vanta became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over her creation.
The 4th son, fearsome Nasain, created the wolves, with their loyalty and hunger. The newborn wolves named their newly founded country in his honor. His task complete, Nasain became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over his creation.
The 4th daughter, aloof Saelin, created the cats, with their sharp instinct and pride. The newborn cats named their newly founded country in her honor. Her task complete, Saelin became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over her creation.
The 5th son, brave Terik, created the tigers, with their bravery and tirelessness. The newborn tigers named their newly founded country in his honor. His task complete, Terik became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over his creation.
The 5th daughter, fleet-footed Kanin, created the taguel, with their agility and speed. The newborn taguel named their newly founded country in her honor. Her task complete, Kanin became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over her creation.
The youngest son, ambitious Selsen, wished to create a creature to surpass all his siblings' creations. He created the beorc, creative and adaptive. The newborn beorc named their country in his honor. His task complete, Terik became a star and traveled to the sky to watch over his creation.
The youngest daughter, merciful Solgen, watched her siblings' creations. She watched as they fought and killed each other, warring over territory, warring over honor. And Solgen's heart wept. Unable to bear the cruelty of her siblings' creations destroying each other, she chose to create harmony. From each of her siblings' creations, Solgen chose the most virtuous, uniting them to create a new country. The newly united people named their newly founded country in her honor. Feeling her task was incomplete so long as strife still exists, she refused to join her siblings. Instead, she traveled to her the grave of her parents. To this day, she stands a silent vigil.

Wait... Weren't there 12 children? Isn't that only 7? Or is my exhausted mind malfunctioning?
Also, I can't wait to see you try and tackle the whole "Laguz and Beorc can't mate" thing.

That's... definitely 12. 6 each female and male. 5 beasts, 4 birds, 1 dragon, 1 beroc, and Solgen. And there's a difference between "laguz and beorc can't mate" and "laguz and beorc can't reproduce~"

Anyway, what I meant was, have fun coming up with a believable excu- *Ahem*- reason for why Laguz lose their powers if they mate with a Beorc. Since, you know, the Devs of RD basically just said "F*** it", plot reasons.

And Lehran and Altina don't exist in this world, so you can't use the canon's dumb reason anyway. So yeah. Have fun.

Psh. Give me a challenge, at least. The elder siblings resent the 11th, Selsen, for making a race with the sole intent of being greater than their own. Thus, anyone who breeds with one of his accursed creatures loses the blessing of their patron deity. However, some laguz chosenby Solgen do not lose their powers, and others can regain them by seeking her blessing.

Or do I need to alter my character's backstory a bit?

Anyone properly attuned to Solgen's divine spirit could perform the blessing, but herons are particularly good at attunment, and the galdr is the most effective conduit to pass the blessing.

Slight changes to the very first post, and the Legend of the Foundation of Linfeld the City of Solace is added to it.
Edit: Linfeld's a terrible name for a plot-major city, I'm changing it.

Name: Caderyn(Sade-ryn) Emrys Class: Black Dragon Starting faction (rebels/militia): Neutral Gender: male Age: 334(Looks to be in his mid thirties) Appearance: He has very tan skin, with long deep black hair with a reddish tint that falls down to his back. He has dark, reddish amber eyes and is extremely tall and muscular, standing at 6'8. He has a wide and deep scar across the center of his chest, and has slightly pointed ears, which poke out of his hair. He wears a white headband around his forehead to keep his wild hair out of his eyes, and he wears a long black coat with a black fur collar over black pants and black boots. His chest is usually bare, though in company, he'll put on a black shirt to be a bit more civilized. Since he obviously tends to fight in Dragon form, and he can change forms at will, he usually doesn't wear anything special into battle, just his normal attire. However, during certain special circumstances, he wears a special suit of black metal armor. Personality: A man of conflicting natures, he is cold and calculating, and ruthless, but also compassionate and kind to a fault. He tends to have a short temper, and isn't very good at concealing his emotions. He is a brilliant strategist and a terrifying sight on the battlefield, but he despises all forms of war and would rather not fight unless he had to. Once idealistic, he now prefers to live a quiet life, and he rarely meddles in the affairs of mortals. He has an extreme hatred of all Lions that borders on insanity, and because of his lack of control, mostly tries to stay away from them. He also has a very soft spot for Herons, as his wife is a Heron. He has a deep, burning desire for vengeance over something that happened in his distant past, something that he has never forgotten. Despite his many faults, he is knowledgeable and wise, and has almost uncanny foresight. Almost always appears to be deep in thought. Seems to be wild and uncivilized, and he likes people to think he is too. He's gorgeous and he knows it, and is quite the silvertonge. He uses that to his advantage, even when he probably shouldn't, and can be a bit of a playboy and womanizer. His voice is very deep, but he is surprisingly soft spoken, and only raises his voice when drunk or enraged. Otherwise, he always speaks very quietly. However, he's mastered the timeless art of projection, and can easily make himself be heard, seemingly without raising his voice at all. This can make it rather eery to talk to him at times. He has a fondness for drink that often gets him into trouble. Said to be one of the largest Dragons ever recorded, he was once known as the "Thunderclap", because when he flew, the flapping of his mighty wings sounded like thunder. Background: ... I don't actually have to spoil his background, do I? I know I usually write my characters' entire life stories in this section, but I don't want to this time. Personal goal: Tear off the Red Lion King's head and put it on a spike for the entire world to see. Theme: www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5EQsi-wsEM------ Name: Rena Estelle Emrys Class: Heron Starting faction: Neutral Gender: female Age: 253 (Looks to be in her early twenties) Appearance: Fair, pale skin and long golden blond hair worn in a single braid. Average height, slender, with bright emerald green eyes that always seem to sparkle. Her wings are a beautiful pure white, like angel wings. She usually wears a long white strapless Summer dress, or a long white silk gown, and white sandals. However, if she accompanies her overprotective husband out into public, she usually wears simple travelling clothes and light brown leather armor custom made for her, that offers decent protection without hindering mobility. Hey, Herons need armor too. Personality: Kind, gentle, and very compassionate. She abhors violence, however she has a surprising fiery side, and isn't afraid to stand up for herself or for others. She has some odd behavioral quirks that are usually attributed to Dragon Laguz, which makes her a unique Heron, to say the least. She loves nature, and in return is loved by most animals. There seems to be quite a bit more to her than meets the eye, and while that enigmatic side of her shines through sometimes, often at completely random times, that part of her is locked away with her memories. Due to her tendency to spout random things at random times, she can be very odd. Background: A Royal Heron who lives in a small cabin deep in the Rosim mountains, near a secluded lake in a naturally hidden valley. She has a severe case of amnesia that nothing seems to be able to cure, though she does remember some things, like her name, a few things about herself and the world, and a few things about her husband. She lived alone for a long time, with her only visitor being another Heron, who regularly checked on her. Until one fateful day, when the dragon Caderyn accidentally stumbled upon her, and recognized her as his missing wife, who had been missing for years. How she lost her memory and why she went missing is a mystery. Now, she lives happily with her husband in the mountains. Personal goal: to recover her memories. Please tell me I can pair my characters. Also... Don't I have free reign to name my country? I already gave the kingdom and country of the Phoenixes a name.
And for the love of all that is holy, you put Tyrion Lannister. CDM... Close your account. Please do it.
I'll ignore that and call her Lannis. That name will not be acknowledged for a good reason. If it is, then this RP will have to have tons of sex and backstabbing. That's too much. Waaaay too much for my brain to handle.
.... Kidding about the last part... Except for Lannis.

Of course you can pair your own characters. Silly Fen. CDM has already created the Lore, so no, unfortunately you can't name "your" country.
Also, I added Rena's character sheet.

*Screams in horrror* Um, well, I'll name the Phoenix country Lanster or Lancaster. That should work.
EDIT: On second thought, the country shall be called Lannister.
