Alright. Uh... Man, I'm having trouble keeping track of what's been said in PM's and what's been said in the topic and making sure private stuff isn't getting posted here. So forgive me if I'm repeating anything.
Patch notes 0.5.1:
Certain fated laguz, mostly royals, undergo a sort of reincarnation. How exactly the reincarnation works will be hammered out in the next little bit.
Bastian took the throne from the king about 120 years ago now. The duel was, to be clear, entirely legal, fought honorably by both parties, and both approved and witnessed by the heron high council.
The rebellion began 6 months ago, though there were several smaller, quickly-crushed uprising over the years before.
Name change for Linfeld, the ruined capital (changed to City of Solace). Additionally, a shrine to Solgen was added to the ruins, complete with a statue that, according to legend, is Solgen herself doing her eternal vigil thing.
Finally remembered to adjust my characters' ages.
Plans to make a character database like FT's are now in the works.

Oh, right. Patch notes 0.4.1. Religion doesn't exist -> is now told in children's story format in the first post.
Patch notes 0.5.2: HHD's character concept is tentatively approved, so we can move forward with hammering out the details.
Neo's characters, Saderyn Caderyn and Rena are approved, though I expect a few minor tweaks may be coming soon? I feel like he's plotting something.
Character sign-up form will shortly be moved to the character database.
Changed Nasain's title.

I'm always plotting something, Crow.  But no, I don't need to edit my character sheets. Unless you know something I don't. I do have a quick question though. Are we using the Laguz class system from PoR or RD? Because there are quite a few differences, and if we're using RD's, then Caderyn needs to have a class specifically for his human form- Same skills and everything, just a different name. In RD, both Kurthnaga and Dheginsea had different classes for human form and Laguz form, Dragon Prince and Dragon King for human, and Black Dragon for Laguz. The gameplay differences really don't matter. |

Hey, you edited in the actual names of my characters' themes. Thanks, CDM. I meant to do that myself, but I forgot.
Also, you forgot to edit part of Bastian's backstory. It still says age 36 and Manakete. Just thought I'd let you know.

I think X said he was joining, GX, Glurk, and... Mr. Taguel may be. So waiting on at least 4 more. Maybe try to drag Emmpy and/or Digi in...
As for a start date, as much as I'd like to just give one, I sort of probably will be really busy with life-stuff for the next 2-4 weeks. So I don't have a good estimate just yet.

Since no one's taken me up on the offer to take Bastian or Tilo off my hands, I am going to be pretty busy the first few posts. As for the opening, I have a very small, theatrical opening planned. Fortunately, Sonja can wai- wait, no, not if Glurk does end up being her captain. And Leilah's going to be getting a mission from Tilo pretty early on.
So, like I said. Busy, busy bee. Fortunately, though, I probably won't have much to do in FT about the time this starts. Either way, I'm going to wait until the people who've expressed interest get their characters in before I start, of course. GX and Glurk, at least. Mr. Bunny Taguel's character probably won't be super-dependent on anyone else's. And X only mentioned he'd join once, not sure if he's still planning to.

Gonna side with Neo on this one. If he takes Bastian off your hands, that leaves you with two PC—Laguz and Pegasus Knight.
I'd say it's worth it, and that can free up more of your time since you'll be busy.

Well, as long as the entire Royal Court doesn't have to be filled with super complicated characters with stellar backstories... Then it shouldn't be too hard, with the two of us. Class: Heron Shieldmaiden
Starting faction (rebels/militia): Neutral
Gender: Female
Age: 282
Appearance: Soft facial features, bright, wavy red hair that goes past her waist, golden eyes. Very tall, muscular build, black wings. Wears traditional heron style robes while not going into battle. Her armor for battle is heavy armor that is black, with the clothing underneath it, which can be seen in several places where it is pulled through to act as an accent also being black, but with traditional ornate white patterns. Uses a scythe as her primary weapon, and a battleaxe as a secondary weapon.
Personality: Coolheaded and not easily provoked. Very loyal, but only fights for what she believes in. If she loses faith in a cause she will leave without hesitating. She is guided by the traditional values of her isolated heron tribe, and has never left their small village inside the deepest part of the forest. Fears the idea of visiting a large city, or finding herself in a large group of complete strangers.
Background: Born and raised in a heron settlement that has had minimal contact with the outside world (every couple hundreds years or so), where their only knowledge of the rest of the world's state comes in the form of visions the sage has. Her people safeguard many ancient secrets, and act as the historians of the world, recording all the knowledge they've ever gained and storing it away. Halcyon, a black heron (which always possess a natural apptitude for combat), was chosen as the new guardian, or "Keeper" of the heron tribe's most sacred grounds recently, making her one of the two authority figures or leaders for the village alongside the current sage. She is still hard at work learning her new duties, which is already overwhelming, while also having to learn to accept that the people she once enjoyed calling her peers now look to her for guidance and protection.
Personal goal: To see her tribe through a peaceful era in the world, even if it means she must intervene directly to help establish that same peace in the outside world in order to accomplish that.
