You manage to slink back to the hospital with no incidents. But as you arrive, you remember something important. The Cobras are all about strength, how might makes right. And you're here, completely unarmed and virtually defenseless, to ask for help? You take a moment to seriously consider whether you want to proceed, or make your way back through the demon-infested city when the gate guard waves you over. He lets you know that he knows who you are, and that you're free to come and go as you please - what with how tough you are, and how much you've impressed Elise. You bluff and give him a friendly laugh before strolling past and straight up to the main office like you own the place.
You find Elise and Gregory sitting at the desk discussing something. Elise hastily shoves some documents into a drawer as you enter. "Oi, Kira? What're ya doin' back so soon? Ya lose somethin' or somethin'?"
Yes, you tell her. You explain the situation, getting ambushed and disarmed, and making your way back. Elise stares blankly for several seconds before finally speaking. "So ya came here o' all places lookin' fer help? Bloody bold," she says in disbelief. "Sounds like yer right bollocksed. Ya oughta scamper on home 'fore something untoward happens to ya."
"I'm pretty sure she's asking for our help," Gregory suggests.
"Help? And why in th' name o' Saint Merici would we help a defenseless li'l bird like you?"
You'd thought about that... but hadn't thought of a good answer. Fortunately, Gregory jumps in. "Well, she was useful once or twice. Wouldn't hurt to get her back on her feet and leave her owing us a pretty big favor. Besides, even the toughest fighter can be taken down with cheap tricks. Though it might be best to wait until after..."
Elise leans back and crosses her arms, looking you up and down carefully. "We're a mite busy right now, but I can spare Gregory, I s'pose... Ah, t' Hell with it. Our boys can fend fer the'selves for a wee bit. And if they can't, t' Hell with them, too. I ain't had a good excuse to get out and stretch my legs in a good, long while. Our errand yesterday only got me thirsty fer a good ol' scrap."
Gregory looks over in shock. "You're going personally?"
"Was that not clear? Or were ya voicin' some objection?" Elise asks, an edge to her voice.
"No, we're glad to have you join us," Gregory says. At this point, the two seem to have forgotten your presence.
Elise hops up and pulls out her phone. "Now, first thin's first. This here Fate thing... Aye, it'll lead us straight to yer phone, methinks. Says yer over by the ol' University. Could even send the bloke a message that the Cobras are comin' to take yer phone back, see what the wanker does."
"I'd rather not give up the element of surprise," Gregory suggests.
"Fine, fine."
"By the way, we could call in someone else with that Fate system. One of Kira's friends. You should have them registered..." Gregory suggests.
"I don't want to work with a buncha perfect strangers," Elise complains. "But I s'pose one'll be fine, if it'll make ya two calm." She flips through her phone. "'sides, the only one I got registered in 'ere - 'side from you two - is Kira's girl. That soldier."
"Soldier?" Gregory asks. "Oh, that Sara lady... I've also got those two kids you babysit. Kumiko and..." - he double-checks his phone - "Rita. Oh, and... that Guardian. George. But I doubt-"
"I'm not opposed to workin' with him, if he's willin'," Elise says. "Hurry up and message whoever it is, tell 'em to meet us where'ver Kira's phone ambles off to." She vaults over the desk and struts out of her office and down the hall.
"Impatient as always..." Gregory mutters under his breath. "Alright, then. Who do you want me to call?"
(A) Rita (B) KumiKumi (C) George (D) Sara

B. Rita doesn't need to be mixed up in this. George and Grgeory don't get along well. Sara is probably busy. Kumiko will either be hit-or-miss with Elise I have a feeling and she seemed inpartial to Gregs before.

You suggest Kumiko.
"Got it," Gregory says. He punches a few keys on his phone then chases after Elise. By the time the elevator reaches the ground floor, he gets a reply. "She says she'll meet us across the street from the library."
"Lib'ry?" Elise asks.
"Kira's phone's been sitting at the university library for the last few minutes," Gregory says.
Elise nods and cracks her knuckles. Several of the Cobras look at her in surprise as she crosses the yard, and she glares back. "'s queer for me to be takin' the field this often. But I'm fierce bored sittin' in that office all day."
You manage to get to the university without any difficulty. One group of Pyro Jacks is stupid enough to try to attack you from behind. Elise shrugs the attack off. She doesn't even bother taking out her phone to summon a demon or use a skill. She just dashes into the group and beats them into submission.
You stop at the building across from the library. Gregory checks, and your phone is still inside the library across the street. While Gregory keeps an eye out, you spend some time chatting with the two until Kumiko arrives.
"So, what's the plan?" Kumiko asks.
"The plan's to waltz in and deck the moldy fool in the face," Elise says. "I don't believe we've met. Name's Elise."
"Your reputation proceeds you," Kumiko says. "I'm Kumiko. Which I'm sure you guessed. By the way... I had a thought on the way over here." She pulls out her phone. "Hey, Bast, are we going to be forcefully added to Kira's network thing? Since we were on it earlier?"
"Oh, I'll can block that," Bast answers.
"I'm not sure we want to..." Kumiko says. "I mean, if we're on that network, we'll be able to summon demons off it, right? Since Kira doesn't control that?"
"That's... true," Bast says. "But Kira does set your skills, so..."
"I see... So, we need to choose whether to fight with Kira's demons and no skills... or our own demons and skills." Kumiko asks. "I have a few melee skills, and a Divine Power, but it's pretty weak..."
"I've got a basic heal spell and some melee skills. And a Jaki Ogun," Gregory says. You ask why he was holding out on you. "What? I have to keep my own demons. I'm a Cobra lieutenant, not a member of your party."
"Offensive magic and melee skills," Elise says. "And an Omega Dionysus. Not that I need a demon to deal with some li'l thief."
"Either way, Kira's only going to be able to use basic melee attacks without her phone. So we need to decide what we're going to do about that." Gregory looks at you, waiting for a decision.
(A) Have them join the network - lose their skills, but gain access to your demon pool (B) Keep their demons and skills
(1) Kira will fight (2) Kira will stay at the back of the group (3) Kira will wait outside

"Enough jawin', let's get goin'!" Elise insists.
"Fine by me," Gregory says.
Kumiko punches a few buttons on her phone. "OK, I'm ready."
The group crosses over to the library. Pushing open the doors and into the gloom, you notice the wreckage from your escape yesterday's still sprawled out on the second floor, overturned shelves piled on top of each other. A few loose books have slipped down the stairs and line the entrance. Unfortunately, the tracker isn't accurate enough to tell you where in the sprawling shelves of books the thief is hiding, nor does it tell you which of the 3 floors he's on.
(A) Top floor (B) Second floor (site of the battle) (C) Ground floor (D) Basement
You can split up (1/1/1/1, 2/2, 3/1, etc) or move as a group.

OK! Finally got my notes back in order. So. Update. On Fate levels. By the way you, uh, sorta can't actually fuse one of the demons you have yet, but we'll just pretend that didn't happen. Also I changed Sara's Rank 3 demon.
Sara Lyon is now rank 4! Demon Bonus active! She receives a small bonus when using Hero, Touki, or Tyrant demons. Her Elec and Curse resistance became strong! You can now fuse Tyrant Hecate! Sara's Demon Bonus increased!
Kumiko Hanae is now rank 3! Demon Bonus active! She receives a small bonus when using Megami, Divine, or Genma demons. Her Fire and Force resistance became strong! You can now fuse Megami Aramisaki!
Rita Stellar is now rank 2! Demon Bonus active! She receives a small bonus when using Unknown, Alien, or Fallen demons. Her Ice and Elec resistance became strong!
Gregory Reinhardt is now rank 2! Demon Bonus active! He receives a small bonus when using Snake, Avian, or Jaki demons. His Force and Curse resistance became strong!
George Brown is now rank 2! Demon Bonus active! He receives a small bonus when using Fairy, Wilder, or Beast demons. His Fire and Curse resistance became strong!
Elise McManus is now rank 2! Demon Bonus active! She receives a small bonus when using Omega, Ghost, or Fiend demons.
Daniel Jones is now rank 1! Demon Bonus active! He receives a small bonus when using Dragon, Avatar, or Deity demons.
Bart Jackson is still rank 0!

You say you should split up, and volunteer to partner with Elise. Gregory looks at his boss. When she doesn't raise any objections to splitting up, he shrugs. "Alright, I'm fine working with this kid. She's got some guts." You say you should start at either extreme and meet in the middle. Gregory nods and pulls out a coin. "Fairest way to choose who's going where, I guess."
"Don't worry, Greg, we'll take the scury basement," Elise says tauntingly as she grabs your arm and guides you to the side stairwell heading down. The others head up the main staircase.
You descend the faintly lit staircase into the basement, only to realize the lights are completely dead. Even the emergency lighting's finally exhausted itself, and the lack of windows leaves it pitch black. You're suddenly unsure that this is the best idea, and try to convey this feeling to Elise.
She waves off your objections. "Bah, don't be such a babby. If I were him and knew we were after me, I'd be hiding down here. Just gotta use my phone's li'l toaster of a light an' watch fer an ambush." She pulls out her phone and quietly pushes open the door, dimly lighting a small region directly ahead of the stairs. "Stay tight on me, Kira, and watch my arse."
You creep into the basement and immediately notice a difference from the rest of the library. The shelves are much heavier and sturdier, loaded with thick textbooks and large references. It's deathly silent, other than your quiet footfalls, muffled by thin carpet. You can only see a few feet ahead of you, Elise's short, stocky frame poised against the pale blue aura dimly illuminating a few rows of books at a time.
After a few minutes of quietly creeping up and down the passages, you hear a loud thud a few aisles over. Elise freezes, then cuts off the light on her phone. You can feel her take your wrist and draw a few signals against your palm. You pat her hand in acknowledgement, then start feeling your way along the bookshelf towards the end of the row. As you find the end, you turn. Five rows down - you think - then hook inward and catch whoever knocked over that book between yourself and Elise.
You make it past the first shelf feeling along the polished oak. As you reach the aisle and your hand meets nothing but emptiness, you suddenly feel entirely isolated, despite knowing Elise is just a few yards away. You push it aside and keep moving. You don't need perfect timing, but it needs to be close...
As you pass the second aisle, you feel something lightly brush against your neck. You instinctively reach up and swat it away.
Mistake.
Something constricts around your wrist and head, covering your mouth and quickly winding around your neck, squeezing hard enough you aren't able to make a noise. Another something wraps around your ankle and rips your foot out from under you. You brace yourself to slam into the ground, but you find yourself hoisted into the air instead. Another pair of those things quickly bind your free arm and leg. You're dragged sideways, finally ending up before a pale, white orb barely visible despite it being mere inches from your face. The tentacles start to consolidate their grips, slithering towards better grips. You make one last, desperate attempt to pull free.
It feels like you ripped every muscle and tendon in your leg, but you manage to slide your ankle through the a small gap. Awkwardly dangling in the air with one leg free, the rest of the tentacles send you flailing backwards, back into the nothingness. You have time to kick out once, lashing at...
(A) The pale orb (B) The tentacle on your other leg (C) Any shelf you can find

You kick out at the tentacle on your other leg, over and over. You expect it to be soft and rubbery, but it's hard as stone, despite its flexibility. You land some solid hits, but it's like pounding sand. Within seconds, the writhing mass seizes your leg and you're back to square one - suspended in complete darkness by a murderous demon, unable to see anything or feel anything except the mass wrapped around you. The only thing you can hear is someone -
Elise! You have to warn Elise. You try to cry out, to squeeze any sound past the tentacle covering your mouth. You manage a meek gasp, and you're immediately rewarded with a crushing pain as the monster silences you. You feel your consciousness start to fade under the constriction, but the force loosens just enough to keep you awake. You can tell you're being moved again, but you've lost any sense of direction or position by this point.
Suddenly a bright light pierces the darkness... far off in the distance. You can make out that you're tucked between a pair of shelves, being held uncomfortably close to that... thing. "Kira, now!" you can hear Elise yelling. You can barely see the form of the monster lazily seize a few books from their shelves, flicking them off into the distance where they crash against the ground one after the other. The light whirls to face the closest thud, then you hear pounding footsteps as Elise takes off after the noise. "Kira, head o'er this way! Try'n catch up!"
The demon takes a few more books, throwing them seemingly at random... But always just a bit out of Elise's sight, but close enough to keep her desperately chasing after the trail of fallen books. Another thought follows that realization - the monster's showing you what he's doing. And he wants you to know there's nothing you can do to stop it.
Finally the trail leads dangerously close to your hiding spot. The demon preemptively tightens his grip; you can't even get enough air to try making a sound. With Elise's phone nearby, you can feel the effects of the Harmonizer app working, the demon's strength becoming less overwhelming - but at this point, you're too hopelessly ensnared to take advantage of it. As Elise goes running by, a tentacle darts out at knee height. "Wha-" Elise yells as she flips into the air. Another two appendages lash out before she even hits the ground, one grabbing an arm and the other swatting at the phone in her hand. Elise's crashes painfully, her bound arm twisted at an odd angle, as her phone goes skittering along the ground. You do what you can, squirming futilely against your restraints. The demon slams you into a nearby bookshelf where you can't see what happens next. Wanker! Nodens, voice activation! Power Hmmphrrgh!" After a few more seconds of listening to rustling and choking sounds, everything falls silent again.
You feel yourself being shifted once more. The thing holds you in front of itself again, this time with Elise next to you. From the distant phone's light, you can tell that she's still alive, at least, just unconscious and probably nursing several contusions. When you turn your attention back to the demon, the tentacle over your mouth slides loose, though it keeps itself coiled around your neck. You've never seen a blank white ball look so expressive before. Smug. Excited. It's like a child trying to decide which of its new toys to play with first.
(A) Call for help (B) Try to rouse Elise (C) Spit at it (D) Stare silently

You call Elise's name several times. The demon slowly cocks his orb-head. Elise lets out a weak groan, but doesn't wake up. A crack forms in the orb-head, slowly widening into a horrific grin. You feel a sudden snap as the tentacles holding you send you flying. Crashing into the bookshelf hurts - it doesn't give, it seems to be bolted to the ceiling or something - but what really hurts is when the unconscious Elise lands on you. You catch a glimpse of a light - the phone - disappearing into the darkness as you scoop Elise up.
A little panicked, violent shaking gets Elise's eyes open. She groggily tells you to knock it off... you assume. It was kinda hard to make out, but she got the point across. "What... was that...?" she groans as you set her upright. You explain what you saw the other day with Rita. Elise is noticeably... upset. "And ya didn't think that ya outta mention that, ya gobsmacked sap!?"
You explain that you didn't think he'd be camping out here or anything. Alone in the dark, you ask what she think's going on. Seeing as it tried to kill Rita but left the two of you...
"Scrubber's toyin' with us, an' I don't much 'preciate it. Gets off on sufferin', I bet. Wants to scare us halfway ta death 'fore beatin' us the rest of the way. Well I ain't plannin' on playin' his game."
You ask what she suggests.
"We go find my phone and beat him to a pulp," she suggests.
You point out that if the demon catches you without the phone again you'll be completely helpless. Dead. And he seems to have much less difficulty dealing with the dark than you. Now may be a great time to run away.
"Well the door's... that way, I think," Elise says. You have no idea where she's point in the dark. She grabs your hand and points it in the opposite direction of where you last saw that demon heading with Elise's phone. "'Course, he could be expectin' that. We could split up. Whoever ran into that bastard'd be pretty much knackered, but I doubt he can be in two opposite directions. And if we don't want to leave it ta chance... Well, if one of played distraction...""
Kira: (A) Head for the door (B) Hunt for the phone (C) Stay quiet and hide (D) Just make as much noise as possible
Elise: (1) Head for the door (2) Hunt for the phone (3) Stay quiet and hide (4) Just make as much noise as possible

『B2』If we can find our 『phones』before 『it』can find us we should be able to 『escape』if it does have 『nightvision』it will 『find』us anyway but the attacked will hopefully be near the 『harmonizer』and can take it. By the way what does our 『hp』look like 『harmonized』?

I'm not sure I understand the question. If I do, think of it like this: HP isn't affected by the harmonizer. Only DEF and ATK are.
