But... Golurk, dust and sand are two completely different things. That would be like Natsu eating Light Magic just because it's hot and it glows.

It's dust kicked up from the soil.

Not really. Dust is the tiniest pieces of dirt. Dirt is primary consisted of parts sand, clay, silt, and debris, with sand and silt being the smallest particles. Ergo, dust is mostly sand.
It's nowhere near as bad as say, Natsu eating explosions, or Gajeel eating non-ferrous metals.

Not really. Dust is the tiniest pieces of dirt. Dirt is primary consisted of equal parts sand, clay, silt, and debris, with sand and silt being the smallest particles. Ergo, dust is mostly sand. It's nowhere near as bad as say, Natsu eating explosions, or Gajeel eating non-ferrous metals. This proves we should be very loose with how stuff works in the RP. The FT canon gets away with alot of BS stuff.

Okay. Then I'm calling it now: Orion can eat Sunlight and Moonlight, because both are technically light. If this is the level of technicality we're gonna use, that's fine with me.

What does Wendy eat anyways? I assume she eats air, but it would probably have to be in higher quantities, since it's a gas and has a far lower density and doesn't actively release energy like fire.

Also, what about Sting? Do we ever see him "eat" light? I only remember him eating an arrow.

Actually, I really don't know. Wendy doesn't really have a lot of fighting scenes and I don't remember her OR Cheria eating anything during the Grand Magic Games.

Also, what about Sting? Do we ever see him "eat" light? I only remember him eating an arrow. Unfortunately, no. At least we haven't yet. It's why I've had to take some liberties with Orion, and base his Slayer abilities off of what I was able to find doing research, and what little I know about Silver. However, it does say on the canon wiki, that Sting does, in fact, eat light.

Does Sting eat lustrous metals?

Then how did he eat that arrow then?

I didn't see anything on his wiki page about him eating light.

Ninja'd. Then how did he eat that arrow then? Link me the ep? I don't remember all the details. But if the arrow was infused with some form of light, or if there was a high enough quantity of light around the arrow, then he still could have eaten it.

Wmedy did eat air when fighting Cheria, they both did and unleashed roars. It makes a sucking sound.

I didn't see anything on his wiki page about him eating light. Unfortunately, my internet is acting up again, so I can't check atm. But I know I saw it somewhere. Also, Slaying Magic in general allows a Wizard to eat it's respective element, so the only thing Sting would be able to eat is Light.

Don't all the Dragon Slayers do that before their roars?

Goddammit! My stupid computer just forced me to log off, because the FT wiki was b******* out. Fricking hell. Golurk, if it was just a normal arrow, then there was no reason he couldn't eat. It's been established dozens of times that Dragon Slayers have unnatural appetites, digestive abilities, lungs, and very sharp teeth.

Here's the stuff from the wiki:
A form of Dragon Slayer Magic which allows Sting to transform the physiology of his body into that of the White Dragon, allowing him to generate and manipulate light to his every whim.[114] The White Dragon Slayer's element has been described as being holy, with Sting remarking that his opponents suffer the "judgement of the holy white".[115] While Dragon Slayers have the ability to consume their Magic's element to replenish their strength; for unknown reasons, Sting was able to eat a metal arrow, despite his Magic's element being light.[5] As a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, Sting derives his Magic from two sources: the teachings of the Dragon named Weisslogia and from the Dragon Lacrima implanted in his body.
Note that it never says anything about him eating light, but just that he should have it. However, we never see anything about him eating light, only eating a shiny metal arrow. This might mean that since light is a bit less "physical" than fire or iron, then he probably eats a derivative, i.e. lustrous metals.

He also ate it right before his roar.
