So guess what? The first two pictures of UB's official Artbook are done! The first drawings of Trail and Kanis will be uploaded to Deviantart probably tomorrow, maybe Wednesday, if my Scanner doesn't cooperate. Please bear in mind that these are only pencil drawings, not full scale animation. Once I figure out how to do that, I'll let you know. The next drawings will be Leah, Athena, and Gawain.

So kudos to winning your first battle. It was almost impossible to lose. If you ran away, the next part would have been harder since you would have started with the survivors from your bridge battle behind you at full health on the third turn.

On a completely different note, here's a bit of interesting trivia for ya. Remember a couple scenes ago in UB where you saw Terra transform for the first time? Well, that scene is actually the background for this website. So, if you want a perfect representation of Terra's phoenix form and a near perfect representation of the Dark World, look no further than the background of the Verse.

I've been wondering, which Weapon sidequests can we feasibly do at this point? I dunno how powerful the weapons would be, but would they destroy us if we tried to do one of their sidequests? Do you even have to fight them?

Yes, you have to fight all three weapons. And in all honesty... They would pretty much destroy you at this point. You could, realistically, go around recruiting powerful allies(Grima, Loptyr, Atlas, Tiamat etc) and getting new classes and armor, and build up a super team to tackle the quest. But that would take a long time, and require a massive amount of time gears. Or, you could get really lucky, and stumble upon things you aren't supposed to(certain abilities and characters) but Anna hates you so... Yeah. My suggestion, is to wait until Chapter 14 and power Leah up as much as possible(Lv 30 Elemental + Avatar of Dhaos) then send a team consisting of Trail, Rhia, Ethan, Kanis, Lazzy, Eregor, Athena, Tiamat, Grima, Atlas, and Bryn.
Lazzy supports Leah, Kanis supports Trail, Ethan and Rhia support each other, Eregor supports Athena so she can spam Fortify/Goddess Staff, Grima supports Tiamat for the bonus damage against elemental enemies, and Godcat!Bryn supporting Atlas, so he can tank. With that setup, it is definitely possible to defeat the Weapons now. But with anything less... Not so much.

You cried? Man, now you make me want to cry. I hate seeing heartbroken bad a** like Spiderman and Leah (even though in UB7 she is happy with Laz)
I feel bad right now.
...wonder I I could write such a heartbroken scene?

Here's a little juicy tidbit of info you might be interested in. In the last scene in UB, that form of Leah's was a glimpse of what she could do, with both the Lv 25 Elemental skill and the Special Skill Avatar of Dhaos. Imagine being able to summon that form at will, eh?  |
