Monsters tend to vary in size, with two sets of crowns.
Silver crowns are the second biggest or smallest of a monster, which can be found in any encounter. There are also gold crowns, which are even bigger or smaller, but these tend to be very rare or mission exclusive.

There are also two types of Gold Crown; Normal, and King.
King sized monsters, also known as 'Super Monsters', are even larger(Or smaller) than normal Gold Crowns and are Event Quest exclusive.
'Crown monsters' also do more damage and have more HP than their normal counterparts.

So, watcha guys got planned today? Homework stuff, posting, hunting, or all of the above? I had to go back out again, but I'm home for good now. I need to farm Pink Rath and HR Zinogre to upgrade my weapons, but it's not that urgent, and I'm set for armor until HR Ukanlos comes along. So I can help you guys farm Tetsu at any time.
Unless you guys wanna hunt Tetsu now, I think I'm going to go cap me a Rath, and then I'll update UB. Also, on a slightly random note, we're 10-15 degrees away from having a snowstorm. In Florida. Damn climate change.

Check the expeditions. What happened last in the story? Already did the expedition with Gore for the story, then had to do he Gore quest in the story. That thing vanished for almost fifteen minutes! |

If he limps, he's going to area 9. If he doesn't he goes to area 3, 6, or 7.

He also takes a very long time flying around, sometimes. Don't worry, GX. It's not just you. That's happened to me too. Rathalos flew around for like 15 minutes straight once before finally landing in 8, IIRC.
Also, I just broke all the parts on Pink Rath and capped her, and got squat for it. She was even a Silver Crown. Le sigh...
