It's not going to be my permanent armor, but for now, yeah. Nerscylla armor is starting to be outclassed.

Tigrex armor is much better GX, and it's easier to make.

I just had my longest hunt in this game.
It took more than 25 minutes to take down two High Rank Seltases.
I'm not even joking.
They're fast and hit really hard.

It took me about the same to solo two HR Kecha. I underestimated them, and paid the price. Gah, this is a really bad omen... It's bringing back bad Unite memories.
I'm really, really scared of GR in this game.

It also didn't help that they fled constantly and I kept forgetting to paintball.
With how brutal that was, I might need to switch to a blocking weapon.

Even with a blocking weapon, AND Auto-Guard, as well as 210 Def, that Kecha quest was still brutal. I had to use 5 Megas, 4 normal Potions, and 1 Herb just to stay alive. And I had to rely on healing from my Palicos.
It's time we get out of that 3U mindset, Golurk. The beginning HR armors aren't going to be much better than my Tigrex armor, and a freaking Kecha can do 40%-50% DMG to me with one hit. This isn't 3U. This is Unite all over again.
Defense means nothing. If you get hit, you die. It's that simple. In GR, literally everything will one shot you, even with GR equipment. We just have to get our A game on.

Actually, with a quick look, High Rank Tetsu armor has 48 defense per piece, which is more than twice as much as the Tigrex Armor.

But I'm really hesitant to lose out on all my awesome skills... I have one hella setup right now.

Tetsu gives you Defense Up, Health Up, and I think Sharpener.
The thing on Kiranico is off because I don't think it accounts for the Torso Up.

GX, do you wanna farm High Rank Tetsu with us?
Be warned. He will be a lot faster, have new attacks, and will generally be a lot tougher. Mounting monsters is also tougher because they tend to do things like try and shake you off three times in a row.
