I'm guessing that you can only get a Gore Magala Ripclaw+ from high rank Gore, correct?

One run of HR Magala should get you both.
The claws are pretty common if you break his wings.

What Golurk said. The only things that are really rare are Plates, Gems, and Mantles and the like. .... Unless, of course, you're Golurk who can't even get a Tail. I got one from the last Magala hunt we did.  So, are we going to farm Magala now? |

GX, here's a tip for Brachy.
When he's yellow, run. Just don't even try to get close to him. He'll eventually leave his rage mode, unlike Magala, which has to be beaten out of rage.
