I wish I were HR39. But nooooooooooo, I'm still HR5 because I don't like soloing online stuff and hate hunting with randoms.

THERE'S AN HR 39!? I'll never get there. It's just too much.

THERE'S AN HR 39!? I'll never get there. It's just too much. After a certain point it stops locking you into a lower HR, and then a sort of point tally controls you HR. In 4U, after the party completed the quest that removes the arbitrary HR lock, we immediately jumped to HR40+ because of how 4U calculated HR.

Once you beat Nakky in HR7, you'll retroactively gain points for every guild quest you've completed. So if you've farmed a lot of monsters, you could jump straight up to HR40+. I've even seen some players jump straight to HR79 and up. So, GX. Do you know if you can hunt tonight yet? Also, how has your day been?

Well I have Rathlos armor right now all the way to lv.4 anf the chest part is lv. 5 Ummm been thinking about another armor set and tried Bows but ehhh not really my style. There's a huge gap between LR and HR armor. You'd probably be just as well off with an HR Maccao set. But the Rathlos armor is HR armor I got it when hunting with you guys. Then again what exactly is the difference between LR (what does that stand for?) and HR armor (again what does it stand for?)? All the shops seem the same regardless where I go????

Nak-nak has 2 armor sets. The one that looks cooler but has worse skills (the one I'm making) requires a ton of marrow from other monsters. I really, really hope I can get that from LR versions...
Probably need 2-4 more targetted Nak hunts to get fangs because I've gotten 0. Plus marrow from... Ugh... Uragaan, Brachy, and Naracuga...

Confusingly, it's also Hunter Rank. The shops are the same, they just get new items. Notice some of the materials you get from monsters now has a + after it. That makes a different armor set from the same monster. Like... Nakarkos has his LR set, Decayed. And his HR set, Decayed R.

Oh, crap. Kiranico doesn't know where to get Nakarkos fangs beyond carving. There has to be a break point... The head, presumably, but which of the 5 things someone might call a head?

It's rare 5 IIRC.

I can hunt today, but I am way, way behind. It's okay. We'll focus on getting you caught up. And remember, I'd be extremely happy to hunt with you whenever you have time, even if it's only a couple hunts.

Or Lurk and I can help GX catch up while you and Crow farm armor. Or some variation of that. Don't worry X, no one's going to get left out.

I suck at this. I tried to fight a big monster and it threw me off a cliff.
