"Thank you so much Silver," Catie squealed with joy. "Catie I have one thing to tell you before I head up to the room and sleep," Baron told Catie in a serouis tone. "Don't disturbe Vincent under any circumstances that ritual he did caused him to have a bad headache and he needs his rest," Baron said. "Ok I will make sure to keep the noise down so Vinny can get his sleep," Catie said as she rushed over to Silver. "We can stay up all night and talk about girl stuff," Catie told Silver. "Hey I wonder is there a boy dragon you have a crush on Sil Sil?" Catie asked. "Just remember Catie we have to get going as soon as we wake okay," Baron told Catie who nodded in agreement. " To think I would see the day that a wolf and a dragon would ever be best friends," Van said. "Strange things are possible heck me and you use to bicker all the time, now look," Baron told Van. " True maybe Vincent is a living breathing god all praise Vincent, " Van called out sarcastically. "At least you developed a sense of humor," Baron said. "Alright Catie, Silver, and Vincent," Baron said as he made his way to his room. Baron saw Sam laying in bed while his wounds were slowly healing. "So how did the pact go with Van and Vincent," Sam asked. "Well take a look at my eyes," Baron said. "Why would I ... your eyes they seem red like when Van takes over but softer and your eyes seem gold instead of the blue they usually are," Sam said in amazement. "Where's Catie at son she is okay I hope," Sam asked. "Yeah because of that stunt you pulled made Catie and Silver best friends, you are one lucky black cat," Baron said to Sam sarcastically. "Oh and one other thing dad I asked Catie to marry me and she said yeah," Baron said to Sam. "I thought you would ask eventually the way you two seemed so close ever since the day we found her, congrats son," Sam said getting next to Baron. "If you and Catie just got engaged why is she with Silver and not you; I can always sleep in the courtyard and give you guys privacy," Sam said nudging Baron. "That's because first thing tomorrow we have to hit the road again," Baron said. "Any reason why?" Sam asked. "Well after Vincent performed the pact he seemed off like something wasn't right," Baron said. "I see so its best if we get going and let him rest," Sam said while Barron nodded yes. "Any idea where we are headed ?" Sam asked. "Home," Baron said as he feel asleep. All Sam could do was gulp as he laid next to Baron falling an uneasy sleep.

Serlen wasn't sure about the next morning when he awoke. No one was to the left of him, so he supposed that was a good thing. He decided to get up and exit the tent. Recently, he had went for mercenary work in a small village. It has been about day since he hunted down the last bandits in the continent. While he felt slightly out of place in this world, he didn't forget the people he had met.
He outstretched a hand towards Alyrun. The blade had been with him for a longtime now. He didn't forget the immense power Ardlin's descendants had. Yet, he was suddenly feeling insecure about himself. He was the Crown Prince if Begonia, something he should be proud of. He had defeated a god for his worlds sake. He mused over what he would do in case he couldn't find a way home. Of course Signy would have to take the the throne, but he didn't want his family to grieve over their lost son/brother. This very situation was frustrating.
"Someone is in deep thought. Pegasus got your tongue?" Shalla said, carrying a few supply boxes towards the center of the campsite. "Not really, just being hit with the worse case of home sickness ever." He replied, drawing circles with a stick.
"Cheer up, you'll find a way back home. I'll help too." Shalla said, working in breaking down the tent.
Serlen looked over her shoulder. "...Will you be alright?"
"Of course." Shalla smiled, although it was a bit weak.
Serlen decided to leave the matter at that. "What's on our lists to do today?" He questioned, standing up.
"Guarding a couple. They're going to be wed. I've never been to a wedding before. Well, at least one where I didn't have to cite vows." Shalla admitted.
That brought Serlen back to his memories.
"Married? Hrm, what is their destination?" He said, tossing away the stick.
Shalla reached over, pushing the dismantled tent into a large bag. "They said close to Alibab, their home. I think it's sorta cute. When are you getting married anyway Serlen?" She suddenly asked.
Serlen nearly dropped his sword. "W-what? I'm not getting married. Ever." He put emphasis on the ever part.
"Stop lying." Shalla rolled her eyes.
"I'm not." And he left it at that.

"Lady Ceridwen, if I may, I am Cecil chief merchant of the red wing airship expedition, and this my wife and company negotiator Rosa." Cecil states with a calm bow. "Greetings my Lady, I see you are taking in the sites of your home out of wistfulness over the upcoming expedition." Rosa states with a calm grace.

Ceridwen struggles to come up with a response. They weren't at all like the their leader. "U-um.."she began. She coughed and stood upright. "Why of course, it is a pleasure to meet the both of you. I am indeed taking in the sights of home." She smiled slightly.

"Yes my nephew Mid is somewhat eccentric, it runs in the men of my family. Oh and begging your pardon my lady but I believe you met my husband yesterday when he helped present the proposed expedition to the council." Rosa replied. "Its not very important honey, lady Ceridwen was barely introduced to me yesterday." Cecil adds.

That night, Vincent crashed on his throne. He didn't even bother going to his room, like he usually did. It was a fitful sleep at best. He dreamt of the past and and the future, of things he shouldn't know and things long forgotten. When he finally woke, it was early the next morning, and he was drenched in a cold sweat. His guests slowly begin to trickle downstairs, looking refreshed and eager. Far more so than he.
"Father... Are you sure you're okay?"
He turns at the sound of his daughter's concerned voice, and smiles. "I'll be fine, my girl. Don't worry."
She nods, though it's quite clear she doesn't believe him. She turns to her new friend, bowing her head in apology. "Sorry, Catie. I would see you off, but I need to stay here."
The wolf seems to understand, and as she tackles his daughter once again, Vincent turns to her fiance. His eyes suddenly glow a fierce golden, like twin suns. "One last word of advice... Baron. This world has reached a turning point, the end of an era... It is unwise to travel through a burning house while it burns. Do be careful."

Ceridwen shook her head furiously. "Oh, I'm afraid it is important. One shouldn't downplay themselves like that. It was a good meeting, I'm just sad that I won't be home for awhile." She explained, tapping her fingers nervously on the wooden seat. Her smile returned. "You two make quite the couple, I hope I can meet someone of good tastes one day."

"If you don't mind me saying, my lady, if you wish to find someone to spend your days with you will first need to find yourself. As long as you continue to deny yourself your own feelings you will not be able to find true fulfillment." Rosa states with a sagacious air. "Honey are you sure its wise to get on such personal terms with a new companion?" Cecil asks worriedly, then turning to Ceridwen, "My apologies my lady if you were offended, my wife is a type 4. Reading people comes naturally to her. She also likes to give advice based on her experience."

"I understand Vincent and don't worry I will make sure to take the up most care," Baron said. "I might want to know the answers badly but not enough to endanger my fiance or Sam," Baron said. " Don't worry Vincent I will make sure he doesn't do anything to reckless," Van said. "Besides I am grateful you gave Baron and me a chance to know one another," Van said. "Your hospitality is more then I could have ever hope for," Sam replied. "Can't wait to see you again Sil Sil," Catie said as she gave Sil one last hug. "If I come across any good looking boy dragons I will make sure to hook them up with you," Catie said. "I will make sure to keep practicing my bow," Catie said. Then Catie went over to Vincent to give him a quick hug "Thank you so much Vin you have done so many wonderful things for once like teach Baron to get along with Van, raising such a wonderful daughter, and teaching us so much in general. " Sil Sil take care of yourself I look forward to seeing you again," Catie said. After they said there goodbyes Sam, Baron, and Catie made there way to the entrance. "So where do we head now?" Sam and Catie asked. "I say for now we head to the village and stock up. " Hey Baron shouldn't you put your gear on it is morning, " Catie asked worriedly. "Nah I want to enjoy the sun and feel its warmthh.," Baron said wearing a simple pair of slacks with a blue T-shirt and his blades strapped to his back. "Wow a vampire that enjoys the sun you are certainly special my son," Sam said. " I just fear what would happen when you learn the truth," Sam thought. "I never did tell you but I was originally just to deliver a message and a couple of items to your mom," Sam said with a sigh.
As the group left Vincent's hideout behind and made there wy to the village where Baron was before.

Ceridwen shook her head. "No, I appreciate her advice. Mayhap I should find my inner nature. You'll have to bear with me, I am a woman of high breeding and it clouds my head sometimes." She said, frowning slightly. She looked between the two with glee. "You'll have to tell me the finer things about life. No, I demand that you do. What do you low horns do for fun?"

"Fun for Rosa and myself has always been spending time together, perhaps you would benefit more from time with the younger members of our company. Speaking of witch..." Cecil trails off. "Father, Mother, I got Mother's telepathic call. What do you need of me and Emily." States Jarod as he and Emily approached. "Son, Emily. I called you because I thought it would be wise to introduce you to our council representative." Stated Rosa. Then motioning to the rep in question, "This is lady Ceridwen our representative. My lady this is my son Jarod and our companies auxiliary pilot Emily."

Ceridwen remains silent for a moment, staring between the two strangely. After a few more time, she talks, "Yes, nice to meet you, I am Ceridwen of House Esther. Pleased to meet you. I do so hope that we can get along just fine."

"A pleasure to meet you my lady." Says Jarod as he kneels down for light kiss on Ceridwen's hand. Emily gets a flash of anger across her face at this. "Nice to meet you too, lady Ester. Hey Jarod shouldn't we get back to shopping for produce, now that we've been introduced to the council's rep." States Emily as she tugs on the slightly confused Jarod's sleeve. Rosa has to supress giggling at this.

Ceridwen raised a questioning eyebrow at her hand. "Well, that was certainly interesting." She muttered, half shocked.

"Ah, I have an idea. Lady Ceridwen would you like to go with Jarod and Emily, the two of them are purchasing the food we'll be eating during the trip. As you asked what having fun was like for the lower echelon, I think you'll will benefit from learning first hand." Says Cecil merrily. "That sounds like a fine idea father, besides I was a bit worried I wouldn't get anything our representative would like to eat, but if you come with us lady Ceridwen we'll surely be able to account for your preferences." States Jarod with a little excitement. "W-wait! Jarod I'm sure lady Representative has better things to do than waltz about the bazar with us. Please forgive his eagerness my lady." Emily interjects nervously.

Ceridwen waves her hands. "I might as well come, I'll take this as first hand experiences." She replies with just as much enthusiasm, standing up from the bench.

Ceridwen nervously tried to remove her hand from his grasp. Normally she would have snapped at the person, but she is far too shocked and appalled at how bold this boy is. "Do you normally hold someone's hand?" She asks evenly.

"Oh, is this improper in your circles? If so my humble apologies my lady." Jarod says flustered, now rubbing his hand behind his head. Standing behind Ceridwen, Emily has a clear look of irritation on her face from this exchange.
