"Well as you girls already know I have a terrible ailment. In one of my more nasty fits I afflicted this young man with a curse that only has two known cures. In hope of saving both our lives, we are enacting a ritual during the next eclipse. A side effect of that involves turning him into a vampire." Wha-Wha looked shocked once again, but quickly turned that into disappointment, "So now you're gonna be immortal? Dammit I though I could at least get her back after you passed!" Rhea chuckles as she ignores Wha-Wha and turns to Arcturus, "Being a vampire might make you look pretty good. If nothing else it at least gives you new ways to please your wife."

Well that just makes me more curious. Alucard, if you can hear my thoughts right now, could you tell me along with any other effects of vampirism?
"You know, I was wondering something..." Arcturus trailed off a bit as he set his hand down on the table. "I remember when I first arrived here, Pearl asked if I wanted to sleep with her. I said no, of course, as we weren't married, but I would still like to know why. Not just why she would ask me at all, but why her and not any other nymph? I'm just curious, so if it's a touchy subject, then you don't have to tell me."

Elia wandered until she was at the dining hall, and once she realized that's where she was she decided to eat breakfast. Everyone must have already been there for some time, because there were very few seats left open, meaning even the stragglers were there. Sadly, the only open seat nearby was at the end of the main table, near Alucard and beside Wha-Wha.
It looks like I don't have a choice. Maybe things won't be too bad, Wha-Wha seems to be more interested in talking to Arcturus. Okay, I can do this. Keep calm.

"Oh hi, Elia!' Arcturus beamed as he notice his aunt take a seat next to Wha-Wha. "How have you been? I didn't get much sleep because, you know, but I'm sure you slept fairly well."
I can't tell her that she looks tired. My experience tells me that's a big no-no.

Elia wasn't really paying attention, she was more worried about eating and trying to figure out what she should do once the time came for her to leave Nivian Lake.
If I did go back I could take time to plan and prepare, so I can leave later if I need to. I could plan a way to leave the palace and go somewhere else in Shaldra. I could look for a chance and then slip away from whoever is with me. I could run out of Shaldra that night, and once I'm a fair distance away from the city I could sell some of the necklaces and stuff I have to a caravan, and make it look like I'm heading towards home. Then I could head east, only visting small towns until I'm near some sort of border...

Wha-Wha ignored Elia's presence as she talked to Arcturus, "That was the sole decision of Mr.Gluttony Fangs loony side. That personality thought it could distract you and test you with Pearl, so it went through without our consent." Finished with breakfast she licks her lips famished for something else. She interrupts Layla's meal by climbing on to her lap and giving her a deep tongue filled kiss. Layla seems reluctant at first as she was still eating, but caves in to her desires faster than a roadrunner trolls a coyote.

Elia's thoughts returned to the day at hand when she heard her name mentioned. Upon hearing Arcturus say she had a fiancee, her eyes grew wide.
"Wait a minute, he hasn't even proposed! What do you know that I don't?"
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm not ready to get married yet, so don't start any rumors Arcturus!

I know we're not genetically related, but still! You're crazy if you think that I'd cheat on Pearl anyways! Elia, it's obvious! You might as well be Caius' wife by now! It's going to happen sooner or later!"

No, I'm not ready for that. I just can't marry him when we're still so young, and still growing. In a few years, we'll be so different from how we are now, and I'm not ready to fight in order to keep a marriage together because of that. I'm just not ready...
