"Anyways..." Arcturus tried and failed to segue into another conversation as he decided to whisk away his armor to reveal a simple tunic underneath. "We've traveled a bit far I our quest for breakfast. Should we head back?"

"Yup." Pearl said simply. She picked up Arcturus in bridal position and sat him in her lap to finish breakfast. This gave Wha-Wha a chuckle as everyone finished the food set out on the tables. After a few minutes of passing idle time, Alucard went to an arena in the castle, followed by the dragon and many of the Nymphs, including Pearl. Some started calling out bets as The two contestants got ready. Tafl removed his cloak and opened his fearsome black wings. Alucard grabbed a sword forged from Dragon claws and Orihalcon. They were brimming with anticipation, waiting for the one sitting on a throne in the balcony area to declare the match's official start. Rhea gave Pearl, who was laying down on a couch, a glance, "Should we allow them to start Pearl?" Pearl nodded, "Yeah! I'm betting on Tafl. Who do you think is gonna win honey?" Pearl nudges Arcturus to get his attention.

"Personally, I think Alucard's going to win." Arcturus admitted as he turned to face Pearl before rubbing the mark on his forehead. "From what I've read on dragons, they aren't nearly as maneuverable on the ground, and have trouble changing directions easily. Alucard has the advantage in this field."

Elia went to the arena with everyone else, but she wasn't sure if she would stay to watch the fight.
I hope it won't be a very bloody fight or anything, especially after we just ate... |

"To the victor the spoils! Let the duel between Alucard and Hnefatafl begin!" Rhea's decree was like letting dogs of a leash. Tafl exploded into a magnificent beast. His wings expanded to their full width and his body became more reptilian. He made a display with his fire breath and flashed a toothy grin at Alucard, who was glowing with a red aura. "Now what do you think Arcturus?" Pearl asked.
"Hey this way." Jet approached Elia from behind with canteens of water. She didn't wait for a response before going to the third row.

"You're a healer right? I forget the human term, type whatever, but think you could use those healing powers during intermission? We're in Tafl's corner so you don't have to worry about poisoning a vampire. It's ultimately your choice, but it'd be a great help for me." Jet set down healing potions and water next to a stool below her.

"I...I don't know," Elia said as she considered if that would be an unfair advantage for Tafl. "I've never tried healing someone in a short period of time. I'm not exactly the most experienced Type-1 mage..."

"Well don't sweat it kid. These elixirs should do the trick. Besides Alucard has his own way of healing. See those bottles next to his corner? Pure virgin blood. Best healing a Vampire could get." Jet relaxed in her seat, perhaps a little too much as her silk wrap started sliding up, while Tafl and Alucard circled each other like sharks. Both waited for an opening seeing none.

"Virgin blood? A- are you joking?" Elia asked as she began to look very nervous.
I better keep my distance from Alucard, just in case they start running low on that blood...

Jet burst out with laughter,"Haven't you read any ghost stories? Vampires always favor the blood of an unspoiled maiden, but you shouldn't worry. We knew since you first stepped through that portal. So what kept you from giving it up? Got the hots for someone- wait I think the first move is being made." Alucard swung at a horizontal angle towards the Dragon. The blade cut right through his legendary scales as Tafl bit down on him. Alucard in turn bit back. "So who's the guy you're saving it for?"

I've only even kissed one boy, and that was Jacob. But how did they know about all that?

"You know how in some of those stories the vampire has to get real close and sniff the girl? Those are just the perverts. A true vampire can smell it from a mile away. Us on the other hand, we just have a sense for it. Nature loves a virgin after all." Jet leaned in a little closer to the ring, her skirt a little closer to her midsection. Alucard began releasing previously invisible chains off himself and Tafl's scales heated up from yellow to red.

"I'm afraid to ask about any more of this, especially because you're answering questions I've been thinking of but not saying," said Elia as she finally sat down, although she didn't pay much attention to the fight.
Nature loves a virgin? What? Really? I'm starting to believe I really am in a very long, bizarre dream.

"Why the surprise? Pearl used it on you once before, albeit the more extreme version. We can feel what others feel, and if those feelings are strong enough, they become tangible thoughts. Your nervousness almost has some of the girls paranoid." Jet drinks from a canteen as the room started getting hotter.

"Pearl, is it just me, or is it getting warmer in here?" Arcturus asked legitimately as he tried to air out his tunic. "Maybe we should go somewhere else."

"I have an idea for keeping cool." Pearl took her top off and pulled Arcturus in closer, turning to water as she did. "How's that?" Meanwhile the thing generating heat, got hotter. Tafl's dragon form erupts into actual flames. His human form burst through turning the flames into a devastating fist aimed at Alucard who stood calmly. His vampiric body became colder causing the moisture around him to start freezing. Alucard put one hand over the other as he braced for impact. The dragons momentum was held in place and Alucard increased the pressure of his ice hold. Each particle of ice was met by an ember of flame and each ember was put out by the ice. They broke each others hands as the ice and fire finished crashing into one another. The room's temperature stabilized to that of a nice sauna from the residual steam. The Nymphs let out content sighs now that they weren't freezing or burning. Rhea signaled for a break as the contestants went to their corners. Pearl, still holding Arcturus, told him, "That fire punch was so cool! Can you do something like that honey?"

"When they're just warming up? An elixir can heal a broken hand plenty fast. Save it for when they start getting rough." She popped open one of the bottles to let the green mixture flow into his mouth. Across the room, Wha-Wha did the same for Alucard, but with a viscous red liquid. His eyes became a bright red after tasting the pure blood. A predatory instinct was awakening and resonating with his bloodlust. "So how you feelin' champ?" Tafl finished drinking the concoction when streams of healing energy ebbed through his veins and fixed the broken bones. "Like I could take 1,000 bersekers at once!" Jet rubbed his shoulders like a trainer, "Good. Use that in the next round."

"Sort of, kinda." Arcturus replied with uncertainty as he felt Pearl's soft breasts press against his tunic. "I can't do it with fire or ice though."
And I need my hammer.
He looked down at Pearl's torso and then back at her face.
I guess it's alright since we're all family, excluding Tafl.
