"Help her"Another flash. Rydan saw it only partway up the stairwell of this condo-ish place. He was floating mostly off the ground, which made it a simple matter to turn quick as a blink and have a yellow keyblade embed itself into where he sensed a life form. *thunk*The sound of blade hitting the wall. He missed. Confusing to him, but entirely reasonable since his target could move faster than a blink. "Y-you-" "Yeah. Me. I'm Anthea. What's your name?" Battle Music: Dark Impetus - Kingdom Hearts BBSRed. Blue. Thunk. Thunk. Two more holes in the wall where this female humanoid with cat ears should have been. An Orange blade was in Rydan's right hand, Violet in his left, and an Indigo blade was already arcing forwards in a scything Stop Raid. Anthea's body twisted parallel to the blade's path, and if viewed in slow motion one would see her arm spinning to match the rotation of the keyblade, snatching it by the handle out of the air. It was a cool looking move, but the Stopga attached to the blade struck its target regardless. The Indigo blade returned to its position above Rydan's shoulder, having vanished instantly out of Anthea's hand. As she reflexively reached out to grab it, both people in the room were very shocked. Anthea wondered why she moved so slow. Rydan wondered how she could still move at all. "Woah oh oh...this one's body is is perfect" Rydan seemed to speak to himself. "I know right?" Anthea called back, still wondering what kind of field she was in. Luckily her speed was only reduced to "just barely visible" and her teleporter could still call in objects from outside the Stopga field at a normal pace. Fire, Ice, and Lightning flew towards her as Red, Blue, and Yellow blades circled her from above. A hastily summoned condo kitchen table managed to block the attacks, before she tossed it at Rydan and quickly jumped away. Rydan swung the Orange blade at it, expecting to cleave it in two, but only managing to deflect it. Apparently Ozma picks out a good brand of table. Anthea tagged as many things as she could with her teleporter, seeing Rydan taking what she guessed was his chosen "en guard" stance. The Red, Blue, and Yellow blades hovered in a first line around him, while the Indigo and Green blades stood upright on his back. He pointed the Orange blade forwards like a rapier and held the Violet one in a reverse grip in his opposite hand. She thought to herself: The far ones shoot. The close ones must be field emitters. Lets see what happens if we cut in close.A frying pan and a steak knife from the cabinet materialized in Anthea's hands as the kitchen table rematerialized in front of her, blocking an incoming blast of ice. She kicked the table up towards her left, nicking the red blade and causing it to miss the shot it had lined up for Anthea's head. As Firaga exlpoded behind her, she slid forwards and under the table, blocking a burst of lighting with the pan and deflecting it towards Rydan. Rydan made no move to block, as the Reflect he cast previously bounced the spell back again, but he commanded a Blizzard Raid to follow the Thundaga, since, as he had expected, the girl was able to dodge the spell's impact with her first jump forwards. Anthea didn't miss the incoming blade for an instant, and this time she locked on and quickly jammed the knife into the hilt loop before letting go, allowing the Blizzaga to take effect as it flew off course and careened into the flame spitting Red blade. Water splashed everywhere, which would have conducted the subsequent Thundaga from the Yellow blade if Anthea hadn't first chucked her frying pan at it while still in midair. The spell's target was redirected to Rydan, reflecting off of him and towards Anthea, who already had the kitchen table back infront of her, acting as both a shield and a springboard. Her second jump tossed the table into Rydan's face, and tossed her up above his head. A Stopga halted the table before Rydan, who dashed beneath it and cast Graviga. The gravity well was placed behind Rydan, then the table, and then Anthea, changing the girl's course into a crash course into the table. With a yell Rydan brought his Orange blade down sending a searing blade of Holy energy forward, slicing the table in two, as well as the sofa after it, the carpet below, and gashing through the picture frames on the wall opposite. Anthea was too quick however, her third and final jump being off the table, and around Rydan's Holy Slash, using the Graviga's pull to stab him in the shoulder with a recalled although frozen steak knife. "AAHHHH!!" Rydan yelled. The spells stopped and furniture hit the ground as he was thrown hard onto his back. Anthea felt the anti-speed field lift and backed away, preparing for round two. It was only then that she realized that her hologram was flickering on and off. Even without a direct hit, the radiance of that blade of light had broken it. Rydan seemed to quiver as his Green blade glowed. An aura of flowers surrounded him and the knife was ejected from his body, the stab wound sealing itself shut after a Curaga. He glared at the girl across from him. Anthea mentally returned the sentiment. It was three jumps prior that Joanna had decided to come downstairs for a drink of water. It was at this moment that the combatants noticed her on the stairwell. Joanna noticed they were looking at her...and decided to clap and cheer. "Whoo! That was awesome!"

A guard perched outside the door to John Doe's cell came in and told him exactly what he already knew from Rotom and Grinn, meaning he had to just smile and nod like he was paying attention. That the guard took to answering questions with "wait for the queen" made it worse. The only new thing Doe managed to learn was that swords were apparently still in use alongside traditional firearms, since the guard had both a sword and a handgun in his hip.
Then again, it could be that they're still not as advanced in the firearm department.
Finally, a knock on the door as an elegantly dressed, silver-haired woman carrying a staff opened the door. The trooper bowed, and left to stand outside as she entered the room. Once the door had closed, the lady, presumably the queen, took a seat on the other side of the forcefield.
"My sincerest apologies regarding all of this", she said. "Please allow me to introduce myself: I am Queen Glinda of the Yuleia queendom. What is your name?"
"...I am John Doe, humble... outsider of this world, I suppose", he said, choosing not to cause additional questions as to what an egg smuggler was to be asked.
"Then... you are already aware that you are not of this world", said Glinda. "Very well; may I call you Mr. Doe?"
He nodded.
She's humble.
"Well, Mr. Doe", she continued. "For what it is worth, allow me to formally welcome you to our home: the realm of Oz. I had hoped to grant you a better introduction, but..."
"I mean no offense", said Doe, "but I would really like to know why I'm here to begin with."
"Yes, well" her voice trailed off. "There are... others here in the palace. Like you, there were brought from their own worlds here. I wish to speak in detail to all of them at once. However, I will say this much: our world is in the brink of ruin. We are under siege by the empire of the northeast and powerful forces from a time long passed that indiscriminately attack humans. In an attempt to find aid to battle these forces, a ritual was performed to call upon heroes from other worlds. However, the ritual was interrupted and most of them; such as yourself, were scattered.
The sorceress overseeing the ritual... is now comatose, but can be revived. I... confess I am not familiar with this field of magic, but from my understanding, you may be returned to your world at the approximate moment when you were summoned to continue with your duties there, with the margin of error being a few minutes. I... must ask you this: will you aid us?"
"...Are you absolutely certain about the part about returning to my world?" said Doe. "I don't mean to sound insensitive, but... my world is at war -- a rebellion against a tyrannical rule -- and I want to be there for it. Plus I have friends that are counting on me, and... a girl that I do not want to worry with my disappearance... nor do I want to leave her, so..."
"Believe me when I say I understand how you feel", said the queen. "Fortunately, the scholars were certain of this fact. Regardless, I'm afraid I do not believe it would be easy to return you until the individual overseeing this field is revived, which would require a journey the center of this realm; though I warn you the territory is not uncontested."
"I guess", sighed Doe, "but..."
"As for your friends..." Glinda walked over to the table with Doe's stuff and picked up the stack of glowing cards. She walked over to the forcefield and showed him the cards. "Are these the people you are referring to?"
"...Yes", said Doe. "There are a few people there I don't recognize, but even so, I can still identify them as being from my world."
"Interesting", said Glinda. "In this world, there are powerful beasts that can be summoned through the use of cards like these for a brief period, though their current locations currently elude us. Those cards glow red, however... These glow blue. With your permission, I would like our scholars to examine these cards. If it is as I suspect, the people within these cards may also be brought to our world, the extent to which is uncertain, of course."
John Doe tensed a bit.
So then... I can still see Yancy and the others?
Doe thought a bit as he swallowed. "...Okay", said Doe. "But on the condition that I get to stay here and supervise everything and make sure no harm comes to any of them... To tell the truth, I'm more suited to infiltration missions, so it's probably best that I help in other ways besides a frontal attack on 'not uncontested' territories."
"What about when you charged in to save mama that one time?" asked Rotom.
Yes, and I nearly died from that. Given the circumstances though, I don't regret it.
Glinda thought a moment. "Very well. I thank you from the bottom of my heart."
She stood up and made a signal with her free hand. Three figures suddenly materialized behind her: three soldiers in black armor that covered their appearances. Two of them had a mace and a glowing longsword as their respective weapons and had medium-weight armor that were suitably medieval. The other one had what appeared to be a shotgun and a helmet with some kind of electronic visor; overall a more modern military-esque appearance. Thankfully, they sheathed their weapons and appeared to go at-ease.
Okay, I was wrong about the technology level.
"My royal guard", she explained.
Glinda stood and deactivated the force-field. "I shall soon call you and the others in an audience so that I could speak to you all equally about our plight." She observed the untouched food in the corner as the guards returned John Doe's items to him. "...Is the food not to your liking?"
"...To be honest, I have no idea what any of those are", said Doe as he reequipped himself. "I don't like trying something until I know what it is."
"They are fruit", said Glinda. "...And I find them to be quite delicious. Please eat and make yourself comfortable."
Irving quite uneasily observed the breakfast the palace workers had brought him and the other guests in the room. Meats, sausages, eggs, bread, and fruit. Minus some of the fruit, not only did the meals not seem particularly exotic (although admittingly, it's not like he was an expert in examining and identifying meat), but also quite extravagant. For Irving, it was the kind of thing he would only see in paintings. It was outside of his comfort zone.
...Alright, what exactly do these royals want that makes them try to bribe us with food?
Not sure how to feel about the food, Irving just took the crappiest looking pear offered to them (which isn't saying much) and began eating that.

Location; Inside Barons Subconscious
"Baron you awake," Van asked. "Just a little more,so tired," Baron mumbled back still asleep. "Come on lazy ass its serious," Van told Baron. "What has you so spooked?" Baron asked Van while still a bit groggy. "Something doesn't feel right, I sense a hint of darkness coming from this place," Van said in a serious tone. "Should we be concerned, or should I inform the queen about how you feel?" Baron asked Van in a concerned tone. "Just keep your guard up around here, until I can be more sure," Van said. "Okay then, so what do you think about those two over there?" Baron asked Van in reference to Mario and Starlow.
"Those two well that person over there Mario he seems like a good person no darkness in him but something seems off," Van said. "Is he a necromancer or a powerful sage?" Baron replied. "No, nothing like that but I feel multiple vibes coming from him even though its just one person there," Van said kind of confused. "Hm, but at least he seems like the hero type then, but what about the weird thing over there?" Baron asked nodding towards Starlow. "I can't say I never saw anything like that back in our world, its almost gives off a cosmic vibe," Van said. "Yet in terms of whether or it seems hostile it seems friendly enough," Van assured Baron. "Well looks like everybody is starting to wake," Baron said getting out of bed. "Okay Baron just keep on guard you don't know what we are dealing with," Van said as voice faded
Location; Guest Rooms
"Good morning Baron," Sam said stretching out. "Good morning dad....I mean Sam," Baron said a little embarrassed. "You know even though you met your real dad, Helel I will always think of you as my son," Sam said while nuzzling Baron. "Still the same, glad that experience hasn't broke you entirely," Baron said petting Sam. "Please I been with you and that wife of yours for what seems like an ..... oh sorry Baron," Sam said as he noticed Barons whince a bit at the mention of Catie not being around. "I am sure she's fine son, she's probably with a friend of Mario, or somebody taking really good care of her," Sam told Baron in a comforting nature. "I know its just that I would feel better with her around," Baron lamented towards Sam. "Come on let's get something to eat," Baron said getting out of bed.
When Baron got to the table, he saw somebody there eating a pear. "Hm that seems like an odd choice especially with all this delicious food sitting here," Baron said as he got a plate of Eggs, and ham. "Hey looks like Mario is starting to wake," Baron said as he was eating breakfast.

"Yollo Mario how are you doing this morning?" Starlow asked a still sleeping Mario. "Really we are in a strange new world, our friends are missing and you still want to sleep?" Starlow bemoaned. Mario woke up and said "Mama Mia," because somebody was trying to wake him up. "Oh so nice for you to get up, looks like they brought us some food," Starlow pointed out while she made her way towards Baron and Sam. Mario would follow her after stretching and putting his hat on. "Good morning Baron and Sam," Starlow and Mario said. "Good morning, Starlow is it?" Sam said while Baron was eating. "Wow a talking black cat don't see many like you around," Starlow said to Sam in amazement. "I am actually, curouis myself I have never meet anyone like you before," Baron said while addressing Starlow. "If I may young lady, and please I don't mean to seem rude but what are you exactly?" Baron asked full of amazement. "How kind of you, I am what they call a star spirit," Starlow replied in a pleasant tone while Mario started eating. "A star spirit uses the emotions of a person or group of people to do amazing things, like grant wishes," Starlow said as Baron and Sam just stared at her. "Great I wish to find Catie and go home," Baron said rather impatiently. "I wish I could do that Baron but I am still a young star spirit so I am unable to do anything like that," Starlow told a disappointed Baron. "Its okay I am just worried about my wife," Baron told Starlow. "That's so sweet you remind me of Mario over here and Peach," Starlow told Baron try to comfort him."Baron if you don't mind me and Mario would like to know more about you, Catie, and Sam," Starlow told Baron. "Okay but only if you tell me about you and Mario," Baron replied with a wink. So throughout the rest of the breakfast, Mario, Baron, Sam, and Catieexchanged stories about their many adventures and about their home worlds. After breakfast Baron went to his bed to gather some things while Mario went to his bed to gather some things.
"Okay as soon as we meet with the queen we will look for Catie right Mario?" Starlow said when all of a sudden a loud noise caught everyone's attention. "Mama Mia," Mario yelled when he picked up some cards from the table. "What seems to be the problem?" Baron said making his way over to Mario. Mario showed Barron, Sam, and Starlow the cards of all his friends that he thought were lost. "Wow so they were here all this time, I guess we can ask the queen what they are when we see her," Starlow said as all Mario could do was flip through his deck of friends in card form.

Irving silently watched the group of people that gathered around breakfast as he debated with himself before giving in and grabbing an orange to eat, peeling it with a knife the servers provided.
Huh.Those guys hit it off well, for a pair of complete strangers. Though seeing as we "outsiders" are probably going to be working together for whatever these royals want from us, I guess that's good. Might even suggest one of Elijah's Circle of Friendship things so we can all know each other a bit better.
...Even if Red's proportions over there doesn't quite sit well with me.
He faked disinterest in what the sociable group was saying, but still watched them out of the corner of his eye.
"These wares look particularly exotic."
Now that the lockdown was lifted, the citizenry were allowed to roam outside their homes once again, albeit with a greater presence of troopers with attack dogs... just in case there is something that smells like Flying Monkey left somewhere.
A trader adorned with a liberal amount of rings and jewelry overlooked the wares of a humble-looking stand set up in the trading district of Yuleia. A lot of the stuff on display were things that the trader had never seen before, and couldn't find many things he was instantly able to identify. If he didn't know any better, he would say they were... otherworldly. That aside, there was one trinket in particular that took his eye.
Ohohoho! Now this is something I want!
The trader picked up and inspected a small ring. It appeared to be made of silver, with a black line cutting through the middle of the ring's circumference, and possessing a dazzling sapphire stone.
Beautiful! Simply marvelous! I must have it! Although I don't see a price tag any--
"Need something?"
The trader nearly jumped out of his skin as the previously unattended shop was suddenly manned by a woman who seemingly materialized out of thin air. Said woman, presumably the shop keeper, clearly had a favorite color: She had purple eyes with similarly colored clothes and hair, the latter of which was held in a ponytail. Though the trader didn't know why, her mere presence made him feel on edge.
"U-um, yes. I-I was wondering how much for this here ring."
"That old thing? You've got great taste for it to strike your fancy! Tell you what: I'm in a good mood today. How does 900 gold sound?"
900?! That's a steal!
"I'll take it!"
"Hehe, thank you for your business! I hope you like it..."
The trader paid for the ring and added another adornment to his fingers. A perfect fit! He thanked the shop keeper and turned to leave the district when he stopped himself.
Wait a minute... For me to get something like that for such a low price, I need to know how to do business with her more often!
The trader turned back to ask the shopkeeper about her shop ("What is the name of your shop? How often do you trade in Yuleia?"), only to find that it had seemingly vanished without a trace... No stand, no wares, no shopkeeper... no shop.

Irving looked up from covertly eying the other group over there as a red-headed woman sat across from him and introduced herself and began making small talk.
"Yeah...I'm eating", said Irving, not sure what she meant. "I'm Irving."
...Small talk!
"I'm a mercenary back in my world", he said. It was a small lie though, as mercenaries are usually better received in the eyes of the general populace back in Austur than bounty hunters. Probably because bounty hunters outright kill for a living while mercs can get by fine just being bodyguards, depending on the type of buyers they attract. "How 'bout you? Do anything in your world?"

Let's hope your world's average is better than my world's, otherwise you're dead weight.
"Nope", said Irving. "Sorry for not being important. That outside your comfort zone?"

While Mario and Starlow were staring at the cards before Mario, Sam noticed a couple of individuals at the table sitting and chatting. "Hey Baron you think those two would know anything about these cards," Sam asked. "It can't hurt to ask besides I kinda of feel embarrassed for not noticing them before," Baron said sheepishly. "Well thats okay, I am already use to your clueless ways pretty sure these three will get use to them to," Sam chided Baron. Baron and Sam made there way over to the table but Sam was the first to arrive while Barron was hesitant.
"Serouisly, slow poke, aw whatever scardy cat," Sam said in a mocking tone towards Baron. "Anyway pleased to meet you two, my name is Samuel Freeman but everyone just called me Sam," Sam said to the two individuals. "Sorry for not saying anything sooner I just had a lot on my mind especially with my wife missing and again sorry it took me so long to introduce my self," Baron said rubbing the back of his head. "My name is Baron by the way," Baron told the two individuals eating.
"Really you are not even going to wait for us jerk," Starlow said to Baron. "Anyway my name is Starlow and this here is Mario," Starlow said introducing both herself and Mario. "Now that the introduction are out of the way, would you happen to know anything about these cards?" Starlow said as Mario showed the cards he had to the group.

Irving scowled, but felt a twinge of satisfaction of seeing another royal that didn't mind giving the time of day to not-rich people. "You ain't seen crazed until..."
Irving's voice trailed off as he noticed the people in the other group begin to make their way over to the two of them. He listened as they introduced one another and inquired about some cards the guy with the slick mustache had.
"Don't worry about it", said Irving in response to Baron's apology to not speaking to them earlier. "Name's Irving. As for the cards, don't know. Friends of yours?" he guessed, judging from the way their proportions were at least a little bit similar to Mario's.
Guess that's just how people look in their world.

"That was a nice rest, despite everything that's happened," Lana commented as she stretched. "Oh hey Charlie surprised you're still here, thought you would want to be with Alyssia" Lana said rubbing the head of Charlie. "Princess Lana are you okay?" Tom one of the palace guards asked as he was accompined by Coco, an attack dog. "Yeah I am fine, just a little worried about mom considering everything that happened" Lana said getting up from the couch. "She's doing fine princess just a little worried about the outsiders, and everything going on," Tom said "Princess did you sneak over to the kennel, yesterday and borrow one of the dogs, again?" the guard sighed while Coco just made his way over to Charlie. "I was lonely and I thought a dog would be good campany," Lana said rather sheepishly. " Sigh, really this isn't the time to be sneaking around considering with us knowing so little about the outsiders, the witch attacking, and who only knows what that other kingdom is planning," Tom lamented. "Well I shall remember that for next time, by the way what do you mean outsiders?" Lana asked Tom while sitting on the couch.
"Well after you were escorted to the safe house the summoning was started," Tom told Lana. "Oh yeah the hero's that were going to save us, was it successful?" Lana asked. "Well yes and no the hero's did appear but after that the witch attacked and only four remained insifde of the palace" Tom informed her. "Oh so what about the hero's that appeared?" Lana asked Tom. "Well one of them was a .....," Tom was interrupted when Coco started making his way upstair. "Hold on princess, Coco seemed to picked up on something," Tom said as Coco made a beeline for one of the doors upstairs. Coco was growling aggressively at one of the doors upstairs, having caught the scent of Bowser. "Can somebody stuff up that chain chomp, some of us are trying to sleep?" Bowser called out from the other side. "What was that?" Tom said reaching for his rifle. "Nothing maybe it was the wind?" Lana said trying to blow it off. "Stay back princess there could be something on the other side, that's dangerous," Tom said taking an offensive position.
Well that's all Bowser needed to hear as all of a sudden Bowser busted through the wall and was looking for something. "Princess where is she?" Bowser said looking for the princess. "Hey you stand down," Tom said pointing his gun at Bowser. "Oh my god, I am so dead, mom is going to kill me," Lana said in sheer horror at what was happening before her.

"So uh... Sir... You uh... Really like masks huh? I uh... Really don't think you need one here... I mean uh..."
Vincent rolled his eyes beneath said mask. The poor guard's attempt at conversation bordered on comical. And it didn't help matters the poor man was a nervous wreck. Normally, Vincent would have eased the man's nerves... But he didn't for the same reason he kept the mask. The same reason he kept his guard up at all times, and even went so far as to don a personality he swore to his wife he never would. At least, not again. But in this case, he had a feeling she would understand. To use a time old adage, dire times call for urgent measures. He needed to keep his identity hidden at all costs, to keep his children safe, and to do that, he stopped being Vincent. He stopped being the kind and gentle father, the wise teacher, the cryptic old fool, and became the Demon King.
The guard had come to his chambers a couple minutes ago with an invitation for breakfast in the common room- where all the other Outlanders were gathering, he was told- and he accepted, on the condition he could bring said breakfast back to his room. He had no intention of bringing his children into this mess, and he didn't want to risk bringing them around strangers. For various reasons.
"When will the Queen arrive?" Nobunaga demands, his voice calm and level.
"H-Her Majesty should be arriving shortly," the guard stammers, clearly on edge. "If you would j-just wait with the others-"
"I dislike being kept waiting," Nobunaga interrupts, his dark crimson eyes flashing dangerously. "And I wait on no one. Your Queen summons me from my own world, my own home, against my will- ME!- and I am to wait on her? I think not. If her royal highness wishes to speak with me, then she may come to my quarters and do so. Without guards. Is that understood, soldier?"
"Yes, sir!" The guard replies automatically, flinching.
Nobunaga smiles slightly. Some things never change. Regardless of what world or godforsaken place I find myself in, a soldier is always a soldier. That's comforting, in a very odd way. It means this world may not be so alien after all... And I can use that to my advantage. If I assume this world follows similar laws to my own, and carefully read the Queen... Then there is a legitimate possibility I could find a way to get the Queen in my pocket. That should be my first priority. I need to have her working for me, and no one else. And if I have to manipulate a few dozen people or so to do it, then so be it.
No remorse... No mercy. No emotion. Just a cold rationality, based around a single objective. An objective he would complete, even if he had to burn this world to cinders in the process. None of the lives here mattered anything to him. They were merely ants, insects crawling around his feet. Only his children mattered.
"This way. The common room is over here. Breakfast is currently being served. You are one of the last to arrive."
Nobunaga turns at the voice, and his eyes almost widen. It takes all of his considerable willpower to not show his surprise. Another guard was leading a different Outlander towards the common room, from the opposite hallway, and this particular Outlander was easily recognizable to him.
That's...! What in the nine hells is HE doing here?!
Arcturus... A man, or Vampire rather, from his own world... And one that he didn't really care for, to say the least. But still... Someone else was summoned from Austur... What are the odds? Wait... Wait... No, what exactly are the odds? What if the spell used to summon them... What if it selected candidates from only certain worlds? If that were true, then that would mean...
His mind worked furiously as the guard showed him into the common room first. And there... He saw a scene that only served to confirm his suspicions. Several Outlanders were sitting around a couple tables, talking. Two of whom he recognised immediately.
Well if it isn't my former protégée, and the Mercenary with a heart of gold... I need to be careful here. This makes three people who could potentially recognize me. Baron, well... He can be a bit clueless at times, if memory serves. But his other half could prove challenging to avoid, and a mask probably won't fool Arcturus for very long, especially if he sees the kids. Aris takes after her mother so much it's not even funny. It's been a long time since I've seen the Merc, almost seven years in fact, but his instincts are nothing to sneeze at... This could prove troublesome.
All conversation stopped and all eyes turned to him as he entered, but he ignored it. He strode into the room like he owned the place, prepared two plates of food, and gave them to his escort to carry. The guard decided it was wise not to argue and obliged. Nobunaga then turned on his heel and left, but not before his eery crimson eyes locked with the woman sitting across from Irving.
She... May also prove challenging. Or perhaps, a worthy pawn...
He broke the contact first, and exited the room as suddenly as he had entered, his escort turned butler scurrying after him. He passed the young Vampire as he left, and for a brief moment, time seemed to slow down as they passed each other.
If he's here... Then maybe, just maybe...
Time returned to normal, and Nobunaga walked away, without meeting his gaze. Everything was just starting to get interesting...

"Joanna, get back upstairs!" Anthea shouted before diving in her direction.
"Wha-"
The younger girl was cut off mid-word by a Stopga cast off of the Indigo blade that Anthea managed to catch inches before it impaled Joanna in the face. Anthea felt herself slow down significantly once again. She called back to her floating assailant.
"Rydan! There is no-!"
A Fire Raid flew at her. One half of the now bisected kitchen table teleported into Anthea's hands to deflect the attack and bounce the blade into the oncoming Thundaga. But Rydan's onslaught held after those strikes.
"That that name. You know. How?" The usage of his name seemed to shake him a lot more than anything else had the right to.
"There is no Kingdom Hearts here! No realms of darkness and light. No heartless! People die here Rydan!" Anthea called out with the most understanding facade she could muster.
Rydan recalled his blades to his side, floating passively, but he continued trying to bore holes in Anthea with his gaze.
"You you you know...HOW?" Rydan demanded.
Anteha spoke slowly, as if speaking to a wild animal. "A woman in red told me...I'm out of my element too. We're supposed to work together!"
The word together seemed to shock Rydan too. His blades began to vibrate, as did his hands, before the blades lit up with their respective elements and released a huge burst of energy with a great "YES!" His voice seemed layered with what could only be described as "darkness".Furniture was shoved into walls and the carpet was incinerated as Fire, Ice, Lighting, Light, Time, and Gravity were rent before him, leaving a wreath of darkness to surround him. Anthea could only barely hold her ground behind her table-shield as Rydan began to rave. His eyes and head twitched about madly, glancing at all of his blades around the room.
"TOGETHER?!?! WE WILL BE TOGETHER! THE WORLDS WILL BURN WITH OUR PROMISE AND YOU WILL FACE JUDGEMENT! TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!!!! HOW STRONG IS YOUR HEART?!?!?!"
There was a guard who Rydan stabbed a little while ago who's body was never disposed of. Even though it was now reduced to a broken heap in a corner, it began to rattle and shake as a black energy began to ooze from inside it apparently at Rydan's bidding. It began to take a shape...glowing eyes...antennae, claws...some sort of symbol...
And then with a *shoop* the entire scene was winked out of existence. Anthea looked around somewhat dumbfounded, until she saw Joanna holding up a card, a little more than a little scared, but holding it up nonetheless. The card featured a rainbow with the same symbol as that creature.
Anthea spoke quickly. "Did you stop him?"
Joanna shrugged. "I...I just did what the nice lady in red told me to."

Arcturus still squinted in a very odd gaze as he could fill his Magick wriggling throughout the new world's laws of physics.
"Is it just me, or does it feel, funky, around here?"

While Baron and Mario were talking with the individuals a masked stranger entered the rooms. Mario just got a glimpse at the figure before returning to the conversation with the other individuals. "Baron I sense darkness coming from that stranger," Van informed Baron. "Really, but can that stranger be behind everything the attack and being summoned?" Baron asked Van. "I don't think its him i did sense darkness from him but also déjà vu coming from him like we know him from somewhere," Baron informed Van. "So just be wary of the masked one then?" Baron asked Van. "I wouldn't be wary but keep your guard up," Van told Baron as his voice went silent.

Irving always did suck realizing social cues, nor is he great at having a sixth sense. Hence why when the guy in the mask came with alongside a guard who looked like he could damn near pee himself at any moment, Irving just watched him as everyone else stopped talking and stared at him without feeling the tension in the room. His stride and posture almost made Irving sigh.
Never did like guys like him who seemed to look down on others. He a native to this place and/or -- heaven forbid -- a royal? Or is he another... what's the word? "Outlander?"
At any rate, might as well get prepared to knock some people down a peg... just in case.
Irving picked up the ryfel beside him and checked the slot that was currently equipped.
Type-5? If we're on the same side, it's better to do something to show he's not invincible instead of outright killing him.
He ejected the slot.
Hmm...
After some consideration, he ultimately inserted a Type-3 slot. He set his weapon back to leaning against his seat. He looked back at Mario.
"Where were we? Oh yeah. Friends of yours?"

"Oh yeah," Mario responded. "I will take it from here, might be hard to understand him unless you can speak Italian really fast," Starlow told Irving "The people here in the cards are people from our world," Starlow said. "This here is his younger brother Luigi," Starlow said hovering over his card. "This here is his girlfriend, Princess Peach" Starlow said to Irving. "The others are friends or rivals that we came across, but I don't seem to see him in our deck," Starlow said to Mario referring to Bowser. "If we may ask where do you guys come from?" Starlow asked Irving. "Me, Mario, and the cards Mario has, we come from the mushroom kingdom," Starlow said.
"Hey baron are you going to see where we are from?" Sam asked as Baron was deep in thought about something. "Sigh, me and this one overhere come from a world called Austur," Sam said to Irving

"Princess how did a minion of the witch get into the safe house," Tom asked Lana. "Minion, minion, I am Bowser all mighty king of the Koopas and I will be damn, if a toad is going to call me a minion," Bowser growled towards Tom. "Tom, this is all a misunderstanding," Lana tried in vain to tell Tom. "Sorry princess but I have to deal with this hell spawn, may the almighty have mercy on you," Tom said to Bowser. "Please, you should be groveling before me," Bowser said very definitely. Tom and Bowser were about to come to blows when Lana stepped in between them.
"STOP THIS NOW BOTH OF YOU," Lana yelled at both of them. "Princess, white haired Peach," Tom and Bowser said staring at Lana. "Tom after I left the palace I didn't go straight to the safehouse, I went into the city to look for help" Lana told Tom. "This is when I encountered Bowser, Alyssia, Catie, and Charlie," Lana said to Tom. "So your saying this thing called Bowser is actually a hero," Tom said holstering his weapon. "Am I a hero? I am just the greatest hero ever, in the history of everything, gwa ha ha," Bowser said very boisterous. "Hey what's with all the noise," Bowser Jr said sticking his head out of the door. "What is that?" Tom asked Lana. "This is Bowser Jr, Bowsers son," Lana said picking up Bowser Jr. "Anymore of these koopa things?" Tom asked Lana. "Well there are two more," Lana said opening the door to reveal Kammy and Kamek.
"Hey losers get up we have a Princess to find," Bowser called out to those losers. "Really your awfulness you have to be so loud," Kamek said stirring awake. "Geez already managing to cause trouble and we just got here," Kammy sneered towards Bowser. "Looks like it, this is why Peach never invites us, look what happens when Lana invited us," Bowser Jr. lamented. "Really I am the problem,if it wasn't for this princess that I have let to find being impressed by my greatness we would still be out on the street," Bowser sighed. "See son even though I am king I get no respect from those losers over there," Bowser said to his son who was rolling his eyes at his dad.
"Um are you sure about them being hero's princess they don't seem to be the hero types" Tom whispered to Lana. "Also I am unsure if its wise to bring them into the palace, especially that one," Tom said pointing towards Bowser. "What do you mean leave them behind they are the hero's we summoned right?" Lana said in response. "Well yes but the palace is already in an uproar, and showing up with him will make matters worse," Tom said in response. "If any of the other guards give you a hard time, tell them these four are my personal guests and they are to be treated like them," Lana said in response. "But what if that one acts up?" Tom said to Lana. "Then lock him up, in one of those cells we have, for criminals, besides I am sure his son will do just fine as a representative from his world," Lana told Tom in response. "Princess you are far too kind and trusting," Tom lamented. "So I shall tell them the good news," Lana said making his way to Bowser.
"Good news king Bowser you can go to the palace as my personal guest, but on one condition," Lana told Bowser. "Come on out with the detail, already," Bowser demanded impatiently. "You are to listen to Tom over there or else," Lana told Bowser in a stern voice. "Grumble grumble, Bowser doesn't take orders from anybody," Bowser said definitely. "Well then I can have you locked up and you will never get home," Lana told Bowser. "Fine," Bowser moaned. "Did we miss anything?" Catie said poking her head inside of the room.

As Arcturus watched the others overlook him he tried to see if he recognized anyone.
"So, what's the deal with portal food?" He asked mindlessly as he waited for a response before realizing what Sam said. "Wait wait wait, did you just say Austur?"

"The Cleatian Empire?" Arcturus asked with a confused look. "What happened before you got here?"

"The Cleatian Empire?" Arcturus asked with a confused look. "What happened before you got here?" Fenrir raised a eyebrow. "Pray tell what you mean. You're from Austur, right?"
