"After the dragon, Irving. Think of it as something to look forward to. Can't do nothing but fight, after all," June says. "Then again, who knows? Maybe the dragon's a fan of cards. Try inviting him to a game. Or maybe you can catch us a nice fish dinner... Oh... Speaking of, I'm pretty hungry. What say we go see what's for breakfast?"

Bowser was the first to arrive to the dining hall and along with his son they grabbed something to eat. Kamek and Kammy were next to arrive. "Kammy I got to ask you something," Kamek said to Kammy.
"What is it, did Lord Recklessness do something yesterday?" Kammy sighed.
"Yes, but ummm its hard to explain," Kamek said while thinking about what happened. "One moment Bowser was in combat with the archsage, the next moment he was being crushed by a ball of energy," Kamek told Kammy.
"So he died on the battle field not a surprise?" Kammy said dismissively.
"Actually something else happened much different," Kamek remarked. "He turned into a giant," Kamek told Kammy.
"Big deal how many times have we turned him into a giant I lost count at this point," Kammy told Kamek unamused.
"Yet that's the thing these things called evoglobins appeared," Kamek said. "They said something about being guardian of Bowser's life force," Kamek said.
"Evoglobins you said," Starlow said as she entered the room.
"Yes, but wait what would you know about them," Kamek said to Starlow. Kammy grew bored and joined Bowser and Bowser Jr. at the dining room table.
"Well there was that time I was at a meeting at Peach's castle, when Bowser interrupted us," Starlow said. "It involved a mysterious disease called the Bloorbs, and long story short," Bowser interrupted then proceeded to become under the temporary control of Fawful," Starlow said. "At which point he ate everyone there including me, Mario, Luigi, Peach and some of the Toads," Starlow said as Mario shivered.
"Hey I remembered that, you guys tried to use my body as some Hotel Mario," Bowser called out. "You guys had some nerve to try and use my nerves for your own gain," Bowser huffed towards Starlow.
"Sigh you make it seem like it was a picinic," Starlow sighed. "Anyways me, Mario, and Luigi met the Evoglobins during our journey," Starlow said to Kamek. "Apparently when Bowser was close to getting himself killed the Evoglobins would appear and they would open the way to the sacred river of adreline," Starlow said.
"So these Globins were some type of guardians," Kamek asked.
"Umm more like a failsafe, they would only appear if Bowser's life force was in danger," Starlow said. "Sounds like out there on the battlefield Bowsers life force was in danger," Starlow told Kamek. "Yet things must been really Globin if they apperead before you," Starlow said. "Then again they did manage to use me that one time because no one was there," Starlow said.
"So basically when Bowser is on the verge of dying we can make him giant," Kamek stated.
"Pretty much," Starlow told Kamek in response. "Hey Kamek what are those red orb things you have in your pocket?" Starlow asked.
"Oh these," Kamek said holding a Bowser seal (think Master seal but black with a red Bowser Emblem in the center). "These are just a little something me and the other magikoopas been working on, in our big anti Mar... ummm make Bowser awesome again campaign," Kamek said. "Not sure what they work but ehh can't hurt to try it out today," Kamek said as he pocketed the Bowser seal.
After that brief conversation Kamek, Mario, and Starlow went to go get something to eat before the big event today.

"Hey dragon! I know we're in a war, but want to play some Crazy Eights?"
"Alright," Irving said. "I'll go on ahead. You should probably discuss how to handle the fight with the others there."
Irving finally stepped off the bed and left the room.

Charlie after resting for a couple of more moments got out of bed and was waiting for Lana. After a couple of more moments Charlie got restless and decided to go look for Aylassa. While wondering through the hallway, Charlie noticed an open door and a young man leaving the room.
Charlie then looked into the room and saw a young lady lieing in bed. Charlie then just looks at her. He doesn't know the scent or anything so he just sniffs around. Charlie then jumps on the bed and tries to talk to her. (More like a lot of arrrs and whimper whimper)

June looks at the uninvited guest questioningly. "...Why?" she demands. She sighs and pats him, then pads over to close the door. "Fine, just... lay there. I need to change."
She starts changing into a set of civilian clothes. "They better get my wedding dress back soon. In one piece. Hmph... So, you're... Alyssa's dog, right? Or are you Lana's dog...? Well, not like you can answer. I'll ask at breakfast... And I'm very hungry. What about you, pooch? Should we go find something to eat?" Horatio walks into the dining hall. He frowns at the sight of the... turtle-beast repentantly gorging itself. He collects a small meal and retires to a corner to eat.

June finishes changing and shepherds Charlie out of her room. She heads to the dining hall, stopping to ask a guard to ensure Alvis will be there to field any questions she can't answer. She finds she and Irving aren't the first two up and about, several others have already gathered - there's also a chef who gives her a subtle, annoyed look before immediately reversing it into a satisfied grin as she loads her plate hungrily.
"Make sure you get a good breakfast everyone, and enjoy it. We may not have a chance to eat this well again for a while; look forward to travel rations." she announces.
"Hmph. Pierre 'as prepared ze 'travel rations' 'imself, and zey are as delicious and nutritious as anyzing else 'e would zerve," the chef mutters angrily before storming off.
"We'll give the others some time to arrive, then I'll explain our objective. If anyone wishes to back out after that point... you'll need to decide fast."

June sat down and enjoyed her breakfast, apologetically cutting off attempts at conversation. While she rushed to finish, the rest of the Outlanders gradually trickled in. Finally, it was time to start the strategy meeting. June calmly wiped her mouth, stood up, and drew everyone's attention.
"Well, then. Good morning everyone. I hope you slept well, because today we're going to head out into the field and deal with that dragon. Alright. The mission is as follows. Yuelian commander Alexus, of Alexus' Legionnaires, has requested reinforcements in his efforts to take the tree. We're to support his advance, deal with the dragon, secure Yggdrasil, and assist in holding it against possible counterattacks from the Ephesians and Abominations. Simple enough, right? If this plan succeeds, we should be able to use Yggdrasil's... magic... things... to revive the mage who brought us here, Cia. At this point, she should be able to return those of us who want to leave back to their home worlds.
"Now, then. Commander Nobunaga will be remaining here. I'll be leading the mission myself. Due to the inherent danger of this mission, it will be on a strictly volunteer basis. So, who wants to join me?" June looked around expectantly.

"Gwa what are we waiting for?" Bowser asked.
"Let's a go," Mario said.
"Ready when you guys are," Baron said.
"Really a chance to fight alongside June we can't wait," Catie, Sophie, and Ann all said in complete unison.
"Well looks like you got our answer June," Aylassa said.
"Good Luck out there and everything, kinda of wish.... Its nothing I have faith in all you Outlanders," Lana told everyone present.
"Woof," Charlie said.

"I see... Baron, Catie, Sophie, Ann, Alyssa, Bowser, Mario, Irving... Horatio... and Mystic? Er... Sorry, I have no idea if there will be any sheep." June looks at Alvis for confirmation. "But I guess there's better chance of finding some out there than in the castle? Though... would you really be OK fighting a dragon? Are you a mage?"

"Hahaha, 'Are you a mage,' she says. I'm not just a mage, I am a fortune teller. You could say mages don't become diviner than that." She laughs to herself before returning to a serious tone. "I have been trained in many magical skills. My grandfather taught me these things. My offensive magic may not be that great, but I assure you nothing can break my Psyshield." She then pulls out her deck of cards. "Plus, I've got these neat, new tarot cards. Look at the little people on them. So lifelike."

"How large is this psyshield of yours?" June asks Mystic. "Could you use it to help us close in on the dragon?"
June looks back to the crowd. "And to the rest of you - does anyone else have any experience as a commander?" Horatio smirks at her. "Anyone with command experience that I can trust?" she clarifies.

Mystic thinks a moment. "Hmm...maybe. Probably not all of you. But a small force of three, four, maybe five depending on the size of the actual people. I could definitely protect that many with Psyshield. Though I'm usually used to only making small ones for myself. I'll probably only be able to use it once, so you'll have to make sure it's at the perfect time."

Bowser raises his claws almost knocking over the table in the process. "Me me me I do I do," Bowser said waving to get July's attention.
"Well let's see Mario well he is a great hero, but well the only person he ever lead was Luigi," Starlow said.
"Same here usually me and Catie are by ourselves, so I never had to command anyone," Baron said. Catie is just staring at June almost like she was remembering the dream that she had last night.
"Thought you never asked," Aylassa said brushing back a strand of hair. "In my world I was a captain of the royal guards," Aylassa said. "Anything and everything that went on in the palace I knew about it," Aylassa said. "Anything above ground or underground I knew about," Aylassa told June. "In fact me and Charlie were known throughout the land as protector of the weak and innocent," Aylassa said. "Well until Charlie turned his back on me for first Lana then you," Aylassa told Charlie in a sarcastic tone.
"Well Ms.June I may not be royalty but I did leave a group of people," Sophie said kinda of shyly. "Well including Mario and Loudmouth I lead a princess, a galaxy guardian/goddess, Royality from Yullesia Lord Chrom, and the king and queen of Plegia Robin and Lucina," Sophie said kinda of embarrassed. "Umm I never had any formal training or anything," Sophie said as she started blushing. "Everyone basically just agreed to put me in charge and that they would do whatever I told them within reason of course," Sophie said at almost at a whisper.
"Geez it's just June we are talking about," Ann told Sophie. "Not like she's going to bite your head off or anything," Ann said to Sophie. "But what my waifu is trying to say is that yes she has leadership and combat abilities," Ann told June. "Well if taking on a physiopathology with multiple personalities, and hell bent on taking over two worlds count," Ann said to June.

June considers her options for a minute. "OK. That's good to know. I wish we had more time to practice together and get to know each other... not understanding everyone's talents is going to make things difficult. But this is a great opportunity and we can't drag our heels. We'll head out in about half an hour. In the meantime, are there any questions?"

June waits a few moments. No one speaks "...No questions? Great! Everyone who's participating, make your final preparations and assemble by the castle entrance in twenty minutes. Lord Alvis, I'll leave readying supplies to you. I need to go hunt down my armor... If anyone has questions, please address Lord Nobunaga."
She turns and strides out of the hall and back to her room. She finds that maid that blew up her room struggling to roll in a tray laden with replacement equipment... and her armor. The maid lifts it with some difficulty and starts to lay it out on the now-pristinely made bed. June taps her on the shoulder and she starts. "Ack! I'm sorry, Miss Co- Oh, Sir June. Your dress is freshly cleaned and ready."
"Thank you... Alice, was it?" June closes her door and begins changing.
Alice politely busies herself with something else. "Yes, that's correct. I'm honored you remember. Erm... I managed to get a hold of some more of those fancy arrows for you," Alice says. "It wasn't easy," she adds under her breath.
June finishes getting into her armor and sighs with satisfaction. The familiar weight of her wedding dress reminds her of home. "Ah... It's so nice to be back in my armor... Oh, Alice, could you wait for a moment? I need a small errand run."
"Of course, ma'am," Alice says. "I'm at your service."
June takes a seat on her bed and closes her eyes in concentration. "Third in command... Bowser's... No. Horatio's possibly the most qualified, but that's happening over my dead body - er, I guess that's how a third in command works... Alyssa seems pretty qualified as a leader, but so does Sophie. Sophie... may be the better choice, it sounds like she led a team like mine while Alyssa led a proper military regiment. And flying gives Sophie a solid tactical advantage for commanding." She runs her thumb along the edge of her hatchet absentmindedly, absorbed in thought. "Who else...? Baron, Catie... Hehe. She'd certainly keep people motivated. Irving? He... does remind me a bit of... There was a time I was a mercenary with no command experience. And it might be helpful to keep him in-check if he knows people are counting on him...? Who knows, maybe we can find him a nice princess."
Alice waits patiently until June finally hops up. "OK. I need you to find Irving and Sophie and ask them to meet me in the stables as soon as possible."
"At once, milady." Alice gives a small curtsy and steps out of the room.
June checks her equipment, loads up her quiver, tosses her bow and Armads over her shoulder... Daggers, hatchet, check. A heal stave and a concoction would be great. She heads to the stables to get her horse ready. Alice tracks down Alyssa and Irving, delivers her message, and returns to her duties. She feels a tap at her shoulder again and calmly turns around. Geraldine is standing behind her, a wide grin on her face. "Did you forget we had a special date today?" Geraldine asks. "Once you finish making beds, report to the dungeon storage immediately."
"Y-Yes, ma'am..." Alice squeaks. Horatio takes his time to calmly return the books he'd borrowed the night before to the library. "Thank you, bookkeeper. These were most enlightening. I feel like I'm beginning to understand this world a bit better."
"The wonder of books, eh? So, you Outlanders are getting set for something, hm?" Ignius asks.
"Rumors spread quickly, I see..." Horatio mutters.
"Well, if you know the right people, they do," Ignius laughs. "Off to fight a dragon... Hm. Once you get back, I hope you'll tell me all about it. I'd love to write about it."
"I'll... consider it," Horatio says noncommittally. "If you'll excuse me." He turns to leave the library.
Ignius gives him a wave. "Have fun, young man. And be safe!" Marth continues to stand and wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, he hears a familiar clanking. His ears perk up, but he tries to hide his excitement. He's supposed to be angry, he reminds himself. But when June walks in and greets him excitedly, he immediately forgets about it. He snorts happily as she pats his snout. She says something about armor and going, and he feels a bit of annoyance. Of course, not just a friendly visit. He shows his dissatisfaction with a small nip. June sees it coming and avoids it easily. She pokes him in the head and he calms down. He lets her start putting on his armor. Nothing either of them isn't used to.

Alvis nodded at June. "Yes, milady. I have men performing some last-minute preparations as we speak. They shall be ready shortly."
He kept his hands behind his back, staying within the room in case Nobunaga or anyone else needed him for something.
Upon receiving June's message from the maid lady, Irving grabbed one last treat, walked out of the room and toward the stables. He found June putting the finishing touches of her horse's armor.
"Hey," he said. He held up what he swiped from the dining room: an apple. "I figured you'd be seein' yer horse, so I got this for it."
