Eon noticed the sudden shift in the young woman immediately. She was beginning to wake up already. Crap. This isn't good. If she wakes up now and causes a scene, it's going to spell trouble for all of us. Father may never get this chance again...
Eon halts in front of the massive golden gates, and pins the nearest guard with a deadly glare, just because she could. He shrinks away in terror, and she grins slightly. Still human after all, it seems... That's a good sign.
The guard who had been ordered to escort them barks a quick order to the other two, and the gate guards hastily obey. They shove the giant doors open and the gates gradually swing forward, showing her a long hallway beyond. The hallway was admittedly quite beautiful, with golden walls framed with countless paintings and murals. The hallway seemed to serve as a showcase for the monarchs of the past, as a painting of a crowned man-or woman occasionally- in scarlet robes was placed at regular intervals along the hall. More paintings were hung in between the monarchs, and these displayed various landscapes and scenery, probably of the kingdom.
"This way milady," the escort says, giving a slight bow. Well then... He seems surprisingly undisturbed, all things considered.
The young woman's eyes flutter open, and this time they stay that way. Eon curses silently at her horrible luck. Why couldn't you have just stayed asleep for a few more minutes?! Well, maybe she'll stay quiet for now. Hopefully.
Unfortunately, Eon is quickly proven wrong. The escort notices the young woman is awake, and much to Eon's displeasure, he decides to open his ugly mouth.
"Well, it seems the princess is awake now. Do you still want me to show you to your rooms?"

"Princess...?!"
Princess... No, it can't be...
That one word had been all it took to make Elia completely alert and aware of her surroundings, but she controlled her reaction as she noted where she was. Through her half shut eyes, which would appear sleepy to any who watched her face, she noted the details of the palace, and how foreign and alien it really was. The people were too, leading her to the conclusion that she wasn't in Cleatia. That made the "princess" reference even more alarming, something even so many years later, she had never known was possible.
She continued to act as if she was drifting back off to sleep, closing her eyes slowly and relaxing her jaw, letting her mouth open up just a little bit, and also doing her best to become dead weight, in order to distract the woman carrying her and seem like she really had fallen asleep again. She let her breathing grow deep and more regular, which also helped slow down her heartbeat to a normal rate.
I need to have the element of surprise to make it out of here. And I need a plan. The guards don't seem very threatening, but this woman is obviously not like them. I'm sure she's powerful, so I better not waste my time even trying to disable her. My only chance is to stall and try to escape.
Three... Two...one.
A split second before dropping her act, Elia blinded everyone in the room with a burst of light, which she intetionally sustained. She could not see through that light either, but she still had her other senses, which were strongest in such a situation. She sprang to the ground, and disabled the guards by approaching from behind and using pressure points before tossing their limp bodies against the wall, no doubt sending the sounds of a scuffle to other areas of the palace. Because of that, as soon as she had taken care of the guards, she bolted, paying close attention to ensure she stayed out of arm's reach of the mysterious woman.
Time to find, or more likely, make, an exit.

Eon looses a curse so foul it would make her father proud, as the young woman leaps from her arms with surprising agility, and unleashes a blinding burst of light. She barely has time to react, and if she didn't have only one eye, she would have been blinded for a lot longer. I can't believe I'm actually thankful for this accursed eye patch.
The Emperor explodes to his feet behind her, and he's clearly furious. "She must NOT escape! Seal the palace! Activate the energy barriers!"
Is he freaking stupid?!! That will only make matters worse! Eon curses again and turns, only for her father to suddenly materialize behind her. "Go. Keep her safe. I'll deal with his majesty."
She may not be the strategist her father is, but she does understand this much: they'll need all the allies they can get, if they hope to return home. And unfortunately, that includes little miss sensitive.
Using her draconic hearing, Eon quickly focuses on the sound of running footsteps, and takes off after her. It looks like she can only run as fast as a normal human, maybe a bit more. I won't even need to use full speed to catch her. Good. Whatever weakened father, must have weakened me as well... I don't know how long I can keep the Sound Shackles up now.
Once out of the throne room, Eon's vision quickly returns to normal, and she catches sight of her quarry at the far end of the hall, easily taking out another hapless guard. Impressive. For a human.
More and more guards start to swarm out of the woodworks, and Eon realizes she needs to stop this now, before it can escalate any further. She briefly increases her speed, and with a single bound, overtakes the girl. To the average human eye, it would look like she teleported. But... The girl's eyes seemed to register Eon's movement, if barely. Just how much could she see?
The guards back away, terrified, though admittedly Eon isn't exactly sure who they're backing away from.
"Hold," she says gently to the girl, placing her hands above her head in the common human gesture for surrender. "I am not your enemy. I understand how scared and confused you must be. But you do not fully understand your situation. You are not in your own world anymore, little one. Escaping now will only lead to your death."
Hopefully she can understand me...

Elia surprised herself when she cursed in one of the languages of the of Jorkun mountains, something she hadn't done since she was young and rebelious. It only moments, she was in such a similar situation again, and was already back to old habits and actions. It made her feel powerless again.
"Little one, princess... No matter what you may call me, or why else you will say, know this: I will not be a pawn in some political game and I will not be forced into any sick kind of bargain or service! I don't know what this place is, who you people are, or how anyone even knows who I am and what you want with me because of it, but I'm not a tool to be used by others!" she told the woman in a sharp tone, as she tried to stay calm even when confronted with memories of her traumatic past. After taking a quick breath and doung what she could to compose herself, she refrained from continuing her outburst and instead tried to follow it with a logical route of questioning. "What do you know about this place? What is you link to it and your role here?"

Eon inhales sharply, as realization dawns across her face. She still doesn't understand... Does she? She still believes she has a way out... She can't seem to comprehend exactly where she is... And what it means. A pity. I thought her vision would be far greater. But perhaps, with the right tutelage...
She turns to the guards surrounding them, and her single eye flashes a deep gold. "Leave us. Now."
The guards hesitated only a moment before obeying. "If you come with me, I will tell you all I know about our situation."
Eon stressed the 'our' part, hoping the girl would understand her meaning. And why it would be better to speak alone... I'm usually an excellent judge of character, girl. Don't prove me wrong.

"Our?" Elia repeated, letting it sink in as she thought about what her next move should be. "Our situation. Alright... Fine. Lead the way, princess."
Let's see how you react to some names. Your reactions will probably tell me more about yourself than you would ever say out loud. Whatever you or someone else calls me, I'll call you. And possibly with the occasional eyepatch joke.
I'll find out what I need to know through you, one way or another. Especially as long as you show me any sympathy and are willing to talk to me.

Eon gives a loud, rather boisterous laugh. "You've got some spunk, kid. I like that. Wait right here a moment."
She quickly returns to the throne room to inform her father everything is under control, and to grill the guards on how to find the guest rooms. Afterwards, she returns to her 'new friend', who doesn't look very pleased.
"Sorry about that. Stupid guards are annoyingly stubborn. The guest bedrooms are in the West Wing of the palace, just over thataway. We can talk there."
Eon begins walking away, down the hall and towards the palace foyer, not even looking behind her to see if the girl was following. There was no need. She's not stupid enough to try anything again, not when she needs the info Eon has.
"What's your name, kid? Mine's Eona, but you can call me Eon."

"Depends on which name you want," she said, and for a moment she intended to just leave it there, but then sighed as she decided against it. "My name is Elia. So...why do you prefer to be called Eon instead of Eona?"

Eon shrugs nonchalantly. "No big reason. It's what my mother used to call me as a girl, many, many moons ago. It just stuck, I suppose."
She suddenly stops walking and turns, grinning slightly. She holds out her hand in an offer of peace, and if not friendship, then at least a temporary truce. "Aaaannyway, it's a pleasure to meet you, Elia. Here's to not trying to kill each other, eh?"

Elia shook Eon's hand, then purposely stated her observation in order to study Eon's response. "Either you're an immortal, or have some sort of extensive lifespan. The former would be impressive, but judging by your appearance and the abilities I saw earlier, the latter is more likely the real answer," she said in a low voice, not much louder than a whisper. "I'm not normally a nosy person, but I do like to know what I'm dealing with when choosing who my allies are."

Eon arches a single emerald eyebrow, and her grin widens. "Oh? It seems my hunch was right on the money, after all. You really do have vision. Impressive."
She starts walking away, and only answers once her new friend is following. "Your first choice was correct. However, the little trip across dimensions weakened me quite a bit. Same deal with my old man, unfortunately. Otherwise, I could annihilate this entire planet with but a breath. With our full power, escaping would be as easy as counting 1, 2, 3. But as it stands, we'll need all the allies we can get."
She turns down a side hallway, branching off from the palace foyer. This new hallway seemed to be the West Wing, based off what the guards had described. Third room on the left...
"Here we are," Eon says cheerfully, walking up to the third door. "I'll explain more inside."
She opens the door, revealing a grand master suite beyond, complete with all the furnishings. "After you, Elia."

Same palace, the throne room...
Ethan patiently listens to the Sorcerer's story from his chair(which the guards had been more than happy to fetch), while constantly studying both him and the so called Emperor. When the Sorcerer finally finishes, Ethan rises to his feet and stretches.
"Interesting story. However, it does not concern me. I have thousands of years of knowledge and experience over you, mortal. I know the laws of the Multiverse far better than you can imagine, and I have witnessed cosmic events with my own two eyes. I could easily recreate the summoning ritual you used to bring me here, even modify it in ways you couldn't possibly comprehend. If you desire my power for yourself, you must prove I have no other alternative."
The Sorcerer's eyes darken. "And what do you have in mind?"
"Simple. I'm going to try my best to kill you. Prove to me you have the power to stand up to me. Fail, and not only will I kill you both, I will burn your entire empire to the ground."
He then does something he hadn't tried in centuries. There had never been a need. But in that moment, he calls upon the power of his grandfather and his father, one of the most primal powers of the Multiverse. His form changes, and the palace quakes and trembles. And as his power continues to rise and build, the entire world of OZ felt the ripples.
I may not have my full power... But I have more than enough to eradicate you.

I'm just gonna play, play, play, play, play, play!~ And eat lots of cake, cake, cake, cake, cake, cake!~ It has a really yummy taste, taste, taste, taste, taste, taste!~ Now it's on my face, face, face, face, face, face!~ Lalalalalala! I'll just shake it off! Yaaaay!~
Joanna was singing and dancing along with Disco inside her own little Paradise (that's what she called the fort she made out of the seemingly endless supply of pillows she found in a bedroom upstairs). Music of very questionable taste played using the walls as speakers because apparently they can do that in The Boss's quarters. The electronics involved in this are so complicated that Disco could barely see straight. The electricity practically had colour. The Dedenne was in clubbing heaven, and played her part in it quite well. Both of them were literally bouncing off the walls in a sugar-raving craze (they lined them with pillows first so they wouldn't get hurt). Shoegaze was using the pillows too, as highly effective earplugs.
Meanwhile downstairs, someone was examining the quickly forgotten deck of cards Joanna had left on the counter next to an empty cake box. Boss's orders.
Based on the appearance of these "Pokemon" in the images, they all seem to hail from the same world as the girl save for two. The art style is distinctly different. And this one here does not even show a face...
Whoever that was, they made the mistake of touching that particular card. A flash of rainbow light bursting from the picture gave them just enough time to have an inkling of burgeoning regret, as the jagged blade that suddenly protruded through their chest erased any possibility of further contemplation.
The dark haired man that now stood in the middle of the room gazed upon his work in utter horror. His seven blades whizzed around him as his mind raced. The red blade that had impaled his accidental herald was writhing and streaking flames through the air, burning the blood that stained it away in a disgusted panic, like a kitten who had suddenly fallen into a bathtub, experiencing water for the first time. His mouth uttered sounds.
"Wha-wha-what IS THIS? The-the keyblade has lost? power? Power...power...What world is is this? Forsaken from the darkness. Darknes....mortality is...wait...what...what what is that noise!?"
Rydan Epecroix looked upstairs in the direction of the pounding pop songs. He decided to investigate.

This power that I sense... It reminds me of... Yes, that's what it feels like. Back in Austur, I felt this kind of power...
"Eon... Are you sure we're really as far from our worlds as you say we are?" Elia asked as she stared blankly at a painting, with her back to Eon.

Eon cocks her head slightly and grins, as she too senses her old man go supernova. "I don't know about you, but my world is in a completely different universe, love."
She plops down on the edge of the large canopy bed in the center of the room, and leans back. "That's my old man you're sensing," she says proudly. "He's one of the most powerful beings in my universe. Right now, he's likely testing the palace's defenses, so to speak. You should probably sit down. It's about to get really bumpy in here."

"I felt that kind of power in my homeworld before..." she said as she suddenly turned and looked towards Eon, her eyes still blank and showing that her mind was elsewhere. "Surely there's a chance I'm still in my own world, right? You didn't see me arrive here, did you? I could have already been here, couldn't I?"

Eon closes her eyes for a moment, and sighs. Dammit dad, it should be you doing this... I suck at comforting people.
"Sorry, Elia. But you arrived at the same time we did, in a great pillar of light known as Interdimensional Travel. The resident Summoner even said he summoned us from our homeworlds. There's no escaping it, Elia. You're probably trillions of light years away from home, and that's if your world exists in this universe. I know for a fact mine doesn't."
She opens her eyes and rises to her feet. "I know how you must feel, sweetie. I have family back home as well. My father is out there testing the waters right now, and he's much more wise and powerful then I am. Let's wait for him to return, okay?"
Still, she hasn't felt anymore tremors... And she certainly hasn't heard any explosions. If he really did go full supernova, this entire planet should be lighting up like a Thunder tome. Just what the hell is going on?

"But it's my job to take care of them..." she muttered half to herself, with no concern for whether or not Eon would hear or even care.
I have to get back home. I need to know they're all okay! They need me, and I need them too... They're all I have left to live for.

Northern OZ, near Dead Man's Walk...
"So, we weren't the only ones summoned..." He mumbles, nibbling on a piece of freshly killed meat. The animal it formerly belonged to had been an interesting one, but the meat tasted similar to chicken, oddly enough.
Legretta finishes her own meal and stretches out like a well fed cat, leaning back against a twisted tree. She gives a sleepy smile. "Hm-hm. The Angel of Death and our friend the Necromancer are both here... What are you planning, my love?"
The mad doctor grins slightly. "You'll find out soon, my little dagger. I have a hunch the curtain will rise soon... So all we have to do is wait, and see what play we've wandered into."
A tragedy, or a comedy? Or perhaps... Something darker?
----- The Silver Forest, Northern Yuelian outskirts...
"Dad, why can't I have a mask?" Leo asks for the umpteenth time, likely just to annoy. Or because he's bored.
Vincent sighs. "Fine. If you want a mask, I'll buy you one as soon as we reach civilization. But only under one condition: you keep quiet for a few minutes. I need some time to think, son."
His face lights up like a star and he opens his mouth, only to quickly cover it with his hands. Aris giggles. "Don't worry Leo, you still have another few years to grow up. You should be fine."
He glares at his sister, but says nothing. Vincent gives a small, proud smile. My beautiful, wonderful children... Don't worry. I'll get you home, no matter what. Even if it costs me my life... You, at least, will return home.
The damnable forest finally begins to open up, and Vincent breathes a sigh of relief. That's certainly a welcome sight... He was starting to think this forest was endless.
He dropped his guard, only for a moment, and because of that, it took him several seconds to notice the armed patrol scouring the woods. Without hesitation, he scooped his children up and his them behind the nearest tree.
Just great... Could this get any worse?
------ Erebus, the Iron Palace...
Eon tried to think of something, anything to say, anything that might help comfort the poor girl, and failed miserably. She came up with jack squat, and so, she only sighed and remained quiet.
A few minutes of uncomfortable silence pass, until the door swings open, and in walks her father. Relief washes over her, until Eon notices his grim expression. He doesn't appear injured... And I don't sense anything wrong with him...
"Father, what's wrong? What happened?"
He nervously strokes his beard, which is a habit of his when he's uncomfortable. "They have something," he says thoughtfully. "A piece of incredible technology used to sap and drain energy, and then focus it in a different place. That's probably how they maintain such an advanced civilization. They take the energy from what you and I would call magic, and harness it through different technologies and appliances. It's a brilliant idea. I'm a little upset I didn't think of it myself. At the very least, I'll have to tell Artemis when we get home. Such an advancement would propel our world even further into the future."
Eon's eyes darken, as alarm bells are set off in her mind. "Careful, father. Remember what happened to the Ancients?"
He gives a derisive snort. "Of course. I'm not that senile, yet. But we won't make the same mistake. And besides, good old Tom isn't in danger of waking up anytime soon."
Ethan then turns to the young woman behind his daughter, and he softens. "Are you alright?" He asks gently. "You do not have to fear me, child. My name is Ethan, and I am a friend. How are you holding up?"

"Although I can sense how powerful you are, and therefor respect your obvious good will towards me, a stranger, I still must correct you on one matter. I am no child. In fact, I wish for nothing more than to return home to mine at this moment," she said, her eyes empty and voice filled with grief. "I suppose that also says everything you need to know about how I am doing. Anyway... My name is Elia. Thank you for your concern. Despite how it may seem, I am very grateful to you and Eon."
Though I never learned much about politics and how to approach things the in best way so you won't offend anyone, I know I probably shouldn't ask any questions that could be taken personally. But still...
"I pray you'll forgive me for being so blunt, but with as powerful as you are, why are you still here? Surely this device you speak of couldn't absorb or redirect the kind of power you have. Not power on the level of gods..."
Did I mention that I have little tact when handling these kinds of issues...?
