Location: Yggdrasil Base
Looking up at the Flying Monkey engine in the sky, Ozma knew that would have to be the first thing shut down. It's a favorite tactic of the Witchspawn. Getting Winkies to create a wind tunnel from which Flying Monkeys can spawn indefinitely. While her infantry kept them suitably protected, Ozma's mages raised their hands skyward, spawning time-stop voids to still the air. Without the wind, the engine would halt, preventing anymore flying monkeys waiting in the wings.
Through the veneer of her Antimagic, Ozma saw that without their wings, the Flying Monkey army was sufficiently gimped. With a grin on her face (it was a friendly non-bloodsucking species of grin), she gave her next command, for her mages to cast anti-gravity spells.
Now floating weightless, hence without G-forces, the gimped could now only be imped, and the monkey army was suitably given the appropriate species change. The imps still had their pointy weapons, but they dulled in comparison to what Ozma was about to cook up.
There were still several Kalidahs to deal with, each one with hides tougher than diamond and roars that battered down Ozma's entire army. Luckily this batter could be combined with the imps, a pinch of decay time magic, and some sugar from how sweet Ozma was finding this Antimagic spell to be, to ferment the mixture into some top shelf ale. Imp ale, to be exact, and that is exactly what the concoction did to the Kalidahs it was sprayed over. Holes riddled their bodies (very tough riddles that rampaging beasts couldn't comprehend, let alone solve in time) until they crumbled back into the earth where they came from...and then reality began to reassert itself.
Ozma exhaled, shaking herself of the Antimagic's effect. She groaned a bit before weakly jabbing a thumb to the stalled Winkies in the sky, and some Dragoon class soldiers jumped up to dismantle them, and finish off this wave.
"You alright boss?" One of Ozma's soldiers approached her.
Ozma took off her crown, "Peachy." She inhaled sharply after saying that, checking to make sure she was sufficiently detached from the Antimagic and that she wasn't about to become a fruit.
"It's the psychology" she said with a sigh, taking a seat on the ground, "Doing this too long messes with your head...find me, like, a textbook. A very factual one."
"Yes boss." The soldier left.
Ozma looked up at the tree. The Witch was inside...but she was waiting. Waiting for what though? ...that was worrisome.

The Great Wall
Hm. She's the type to smile in your face as she kills you. And here I am thinking my world has its share of psychopaths. Hm? She radiates immense power... More than mine. Not demonic energy, but... Is that magic? Humans can use magic without the aid of demons here?! Interesting. Anyway, I better respond before she thinks I'm gazing at her lecherously. Proceeding with caution.
Yoshirou's dull eyes regained their ruby hue as he centered his gaze on what he perceived to be their General. No smartass remarks then. "Depends on what sort of place you mean. There's a lot all over the world, but to simplify things, yeah. As you can see, I boast similar but outdated technology compared to your own." He called from below steadily. "It would be nice if you can keep your soldiers from firing. Trust me, they won't like countless bullets being repelled at them from random reflect points."
Then, as if to act as though he was in defenseless, he slowly removed his right hand from his pocket, showing he was empty handed except for the gauntlet on his left that still flashed blue every so often. It was brief, but one could see the figure of a deathly pale youth holding a lance with a slight smirk. It read Setanta. Naturally, Yoshirou held that hand up in a gesture of surrender. This gave him the advantage of hiding the picture. "Alongside that, would you be willing to open your gates. If you want to interrogate me, go right ahead. I can prove I have no information on this world whatsoever." He smiled lazily.
It was always better to play the card of going along with the plans of people. Well, in some cases. This was a gambit he was pulling on them. If worse came to worse, the summoning of Setanta would cause enough wind pressure to keep them from firing accurately. All that was left was if she would believe him.

Esdeath merely smiled, a disarming, attractive smile. She raised her hand, signalling for her soldiers to lower their weapons, and they obeyed immediately. "Well, I would hate to turn away an Outlander... Especially one as obviously talented as yourself. But I'm afraid our country is in a state of war, you see. I can't very well allow an armed stranger to pass through our gates, now can I? What kind of General would I be then? You understand. But, if you would disarm yourself first, in a gesture of good faith... Then it would be my pleasure to escort you to the capitol personally. Don't worry, your weapons will be returned to you as soon as I determine you aren't a threat."
Esdeath's smile widened into a terrifying grin. Now, let's see what you can do, boy... Are you dependant on your friends, or do you have magic of your own? How will you play this? Don't disappoint me...

Tch. She wants me to disarm myself, and I don't like that grin. I think she knows what I'm hiding. More astute than I gave her credit for. Nice smile... Uh focus! Yeah, focus. Let's see, I have Megidolaon, Tetrakarn, Makarakarn, and a few dyne spells at my command... And that's without Norn, Setanta, and Archangel. I doubt Hama would work on her or any of them. For a medieval-looking place, this is advanced. Not even modern Tokyo has this type of weaponry. Researchers would be jumping for joy if they got their hands on these guns; especially if they could disassemble them. This is pretty stupid of me, but...
Yoshirou lowered his hand to the katana at his side. There was no possible way he could take her and her soldiers. What a peachy situation he found himself in. His smile gradually faded, replaced with a stern expression. "I understand you can't let me through. I admit I'm up against some impossible odds in this situation. But my words just now stand. However, I am willing to give up every weapon except for my gauntlet. It's a memento of my grandfather; something that is used to take pictures. What's your decision, General...?" He trailed off.

"Oh yeah we know Vinny, I am even best friends with his daughter Silver, she's a dragon," Catie told Irving. "Yeah she puts up a strong front but deep down she's a cuddly teddy bear, that can breath fire," Catie said as she watched the battle. "By the way how you know Vinny?" Catie asked. "I know hes not really found of having surprised visitors," Catie said.
Meanwhile while the battle was raging dood.................
"Wow he's sure accurate," Baron Van mused as he was effortlessly dodging Mason's display. "Hmm let's try this out," Baron Van said as he sliced a rock in half with a concentrated blade of wind.
"Baron, remember what Glinda said he has a high gravity field making most of our attacks ineffective," Van warned Baron.
"Yeah you have a point, but we can't just let him go after Catie, and Irving they would be slaughtered, we're fine because of the fusion but even that wouldn't last forever," Baron responded.
"Well we might not be able to harm him but his troops are different," Van told Baron.
"Yeah and thankfully he's not that focused on fighting, look how he's just shooting the ground," Baron said to Van. "Also thanks to our foes reckless attack he sure did kick up a lot of wind," Baron told Van. "Let's see how this works out," Baron said as he channeled his own wind magic with the wind being kicked up.
Baron Van when he felt the wind was blowing fast enough Baron added a little bit of flames to the wind as he aimed it not at the general but at the troops scattered around him.
"Catie, Irving if you can here flee as fast as you can, this guys attacks are on a whole different level, I can't guarantee anything but try to get to safety," Baron Van called out to Catie and Irving through telepathy. "Please be safe Catie and Irving somebody needs to get home to Barry and Silvia," Baron Van thought as he countued keeping his eyes on Mason.

Daughter? First I heard of it.
"Tell you later", Irving told Catie, "Now, we gotta move!"
As Irving urged Catie to do as Baron said, his eyes didn't leave Baron himself. His ryfel was still raised, though he was beginning to think it was a futile gesture to do so.

Mason raised an eyebrow in amusement. Aiming for my men instead, so the others can escape? They must mistake me for someone who gives a damn.
Mason abruptly ceased his bombardment and swiftly switched weapons, exchanging his twin machine guns for the massive black scythe strapped to his back, his own personal Devil Arm, Lilith's Spine. The Stonehenge formation opened up around him, and Mason began advancing on the bridge. As he did so, he retrieved his ball and chain and began dragging it behind him, effortlessly wielding both weapons at once. The Stonehenge formation advanced with him, eliminating any possibility of attack from his rear or sides. Only his front had the smallest of openings, just like he wanted.
That's right, you fools. Take the bait. I dare you.
"Let's see how you handle this, boy!"
He swings his scythe in a wide arc, splitting the air in two with a giant wave of pure energy and launching the massive shockwave at his fleeing opponents. He immediately followed it up by slamming his flail into the ground, causing the ground to erupt around Mr Naivete, creating a massive tremor and sending giant spears of rock upwards. The attack wasn't designed to damage him, but to trap him.

"S***, its obviously a trap put we have no choice," Baron Van said as he disappeared into thin air. As soon as Baron Van reappeared he was next to Catie and the fleeing Irving. "Sorry guys but looks like you are in the way, this shouldn't hurt too much," Baron Van said pushing Catie and Irvin out of the way of the incoming energy wave attack with one hand and with the other hand began forming multiple tiny fireballs.
"Ouch jerk what was that for," Catie growl to Baron Van.
"Well it was either that or a giant energy wave that should be here soon," Baron Van said as he could see the energy beam coming towards them. "Catie I love you, please take good care of Barry and Silvia, Irvin I know we just met but I would have love to spar with you," Baron Van told him as he now had multiple fireballs in his hand.
"As for you Mr general well I have one last thing to tell you, go Hell grenade," Baron Van said he launched the fireballs towards the opening of the general. What started as tiny balls of fire were actually, highly concentrated balls of fire energy. Baron Van use the wind to guide it towards him and closed his hands just as the energy wave made contact with Baron Van.
The only thing that could be seen was an explosion of fire coming from there bridge, and Baron Van having used the last of his energy to at least protect his vitals as the fusion wore off and Baron was bleeding from all over.
"Baron no no no don't die, Baron please don't die, not after everything we been through, not after finally, meeting your dad, not after the birth of our kids, not after the many happy moments we have," Catie said holding the bleeding Baron. "Noooooooooooooooooo," Catie howled as Barons condition was getting worse.
"Take this it may not heal him completely but at least the bleeding will stop," Sam said as he gave Catie a vial of blood. Catie gently poured the blood into Barons mouth as the bleeding began to stop.
"He should at least be out of danger but well he will be lucky if he can walk," Sam said as Baron began to breath while still heavy was at least steady.
Hopefully, its over," Catie said carrying Baron

Mason's Stonehenge formation closed around him, shielding him from the explosion. The explosion decimated part of his formation, but he quickly repaired it, so that when the smoke cleared, he stepped out seemingly unscathed.
His opponent, however, was not quite so lucky. Mason grunted in reluctant respect, and projected his voice so that they could hear him. "NOT BAD!!!! NOT BAD AT ALL!!!! WITH A BIT MORE POWER, YOU MIGHT HAVE EVEN SCRATCHED ME!!!! YOU HAVE EARNED MY RESPECT AS A WARRIOR, BOY!!!! IN RETURN, ALLOW ME TO GRANT YOU A WARRIOR'S DEATH!!!!!"
Suddenly, his Stonehenge formation melted and returned to dust, and Mason's entire body began to glow a dark, ominous purple. He brought his scythe back as if for a downward thrust, and it suddenly began to grow exponentially, tripling in size, until he wielded an impossibly huge weapon. The ground beneath him gave way, sinking into a large crater, and he began to radiate magical energy like a nuclear reactor.
"ALLOW ME TO GRANT YOU A GLIMPSE OF MY TRUE POWER!!!!"
The Elemental General of Earth roared, and prepared to swing.
------ Pictures, hmm? Is that what they call summons in your world, little boy?
Esdeath merely grins, then turns to the Captain and calmly orders him to open the gates. He hastily obeys and passes the order down the ranks, and the massive entrance to Ephesus slowly begins to grind open. Esdeath walks down to the ground level and out the gates to greet her new prize personally.
"In that case, welcome to the Empire of Ephesus," she greets, smiling friendly, as she motions to the soldiers to take his weapons. Her entire personality had seemingly changed, and her terrifying aura. She smiled, a charming, beautiful smile, and she no longer appeared a powerful mage, but a young woman barely in her twenties.
"You'll have to forgive my earlier display. Times are hard, and the people are scared. But, since we're the ones who summoned you to this world in the first place, it would be rude and dishonorable not to give you the benefit of the doubt. May I have your name?"

Irving attempted to contact Nobunaga telepathically.
"Baron's down! He needs--"
Irving cursed to himself when he heard the general yelling at them.
S*** s*** s*** s***-
"General's back! Send help NOW!"
Now I'm going to do something really stupid.
Irving raised his ryfel at the general and began to desperately fire Type-7 shots at the general while advancing toward him. His inner thoughts were in a panicked frenzy as he began to act out of desperation more than anything else.
Blood oath, activate! We'll all ****ed otherwise, so work, dammit! I'm beggin' you here! Help kill this general, get the others out of here, whatever! DO SOMETHING!

Vincent cursed to himself as he heard Irving's frantic report, and soon after, heard him invoke the blood oath. He didn't have time to figure out how it was possible to invoke it in this world; the fact remained that it was, and he was perhaps the only one capable of dealing with the General. The only reason he didn't intervene before, when the enemy General first joined the fray, is because doing so would mean serious combat and that would, in turn, mean weakening his illusion barrier, which would allow the enemy Mage Commander to break through. But now, he was left with no choice.
"Bowser, Alyssa, I need to deal with the enemy General! A powerful mage will break through my barrier soon, and I need you to do whatever you can to hold him off!!!"
He then sent the order to temporarily retreat telepathically, and vanished. He reappeared right in front of Irving, between him and what could only be the General, just in time to see a massive scythe beginning to fall. Without hesitation, he grabbed Irving, and teleported him back to Baron and Catie's side.
"RUN!!!" He barked at Irving, his voice a deep, guttural growl. "Get Baron and Catie to safety!!! GO!!!"
Vincent then teleported back to the bridge, not far from the General, who was surprised enough by the sudden turn of events that he hesitated briefly. It was all the opening Vincent needed. He unleashed as much of his power as he could, without weakening his illusions too much, and retrieved the Antigravity bomb from his pocket, hurling it at the General.
If this doesn't work, then so help me, I swear by my mother's unholy name, I will kill you, you damn crazy scientist.

Something within Irving clicked once Nobunaga appeared, and he managed to respond in time before he teleported away after leaving him with the others.
"...oh."
Frankly, I shoulda known.
Irving picked himself up and gestured toward Catie.
"He's got this, let's fall back!"

Summon me? No, General, I came here through a series of events related to a modified particle accelerator. However, this might work in my favor if I don't mention that. Wait, how the hell am I going to get back? The reactor isn't on this world, or maybe it is. Hrm.
Yoshirou realized Esdeath was asking him for his name. The gauntlet turned off automatically before he handed his katana and handgun to the soldiers without a fuss. He studied her face, trying to decide if he should use an alias. He decided no harm could possibly be done, and they could never trace him back to his world. So, he smiled and played the part of his mask around people. "Yoshirou Ryouta. I belive you said your name was Esdeath, right? A pleasure to meet someone of your caliber. Very few have the skill to lead efficiently. I'm under the belief most people can with the proper experience. " He greeted.
An empire, then? Interesting. This required some research to delve into. In fact, this place looked more like a fortress than an actual place to live. "Is your empire a wall?" He inquired with a hint of humor.

Baron's eyes slowly began to open as the virgin blood began to take effect. When Baron opened his eyes he could slowly see the general advancing with a massive scythe and Catie clutching him. "Dam Barry, Silvia, dad sorry for everything," Baron said about to except his fate when he heard Irvin activate an oath.
In mere moments the person Baron and Catie knew as Nobunaga appeared and when Irvin had a look on his face like he knew him Catie recognized who it was.
"I knew it that man smelled like Silvi, I knew that was her daddy Vinny," Catie said joyfully.
"Heh this is a hell of a time to see my old teacher," Baron sighed.
Before anything else could be said Catie transformed into a wolf so she could carry Baron and Irvin faster.

"We finally get to fight, yay I was getting bored," Bowser said stomping the ground out of joy.
"Sire we are to look for some type of mage," Kamek said while trying to get Bowser's attention.
"Please some squishy magic person I seen how pathetic you magikoopas are, this mage that lord minion face was talking about will go down with style, gwa ha ha," Bowser said as he let out a hearty laugh. "Hey you stupid mage wherever you are come and find me and face defeat by my awesome claws, SHOWTIME," Bowser let out as he started going Leroy Jenkins on some soldiers.
"He's dead isn't he?" Aylssa asked Kamek.
"Knowing our luck we will be the one kills and he will be unharmed," Kamek sighed. As Aylssa and Kamek began to chase after Bowser, Aylssa felt a sudden shot of pain in her leg. "You okay, Ms Aylssa," Kamek asked out of concern.
"Yeah just pushed my self a little to hard, didn't reliaze how much fusing with the wings of scared ice, and then launching that spear took out," Aylssa said clutching her leg.
"It may not be much but let me try this," Kamek said waving his wand over her leg.
"Well the pain went away, thanks you know your not half bad, Kamek," Aylssa said as she gave Kamek a hug and went after Bowser.
"So that's what Mario feels every time she saves Peach, maybe I should try this hero thing more often," Kamek said as he rubbed his cheek. "Where are you stupid mage, come out and face me coward," Bowser called out in the distant. "Sigh if I live long enough that is," Kamek said floating after Bowser.

Esdeath gave a light laugh. "This? Oh no, this isn't the Empire, Yoshi... May I call you Yoshi? This is merely the front gate, if you will. The Empire of Ephesus stretches for miles and miles beyond here, all the way to the sea. And the capitol, Erebus, stretches high into the clouds. Come, it will be easier just to show you." She leads him through the massive double gate, and through a long tunnel that connected one side of the wall to the other. Once they were through, a vast, endless grassland loomed before them. A few large structures could be seen in the distance, some of them along the wall, that were clearly military forts. Beyond that, a few villages could be glimpsed on the far off horizon, if one looked hard enough. "There are many villages, hamlets, and cities in the Empire, and all of them lie between the Great Wall and the capitol. Our citizens want for little, and we have an almost nonexistent crime and poverty rate. What you will see here, Yoshi, I hope you will take back to your world. We have created Utopia." She suddenly grins, and looks back at the giant wall behind them. "Tell me Yoshi, what do you see when you look at this wall? Do you see only a simple, medieval structure? Or can you see the truth behind the veil? Can you see the technology and magic this structure boasts?" How open is your mind? Do you have the vision, the potential I require? We shall see, we shall see...------- Clash! VS The Four Generals! The Antigravity Bomb exploded right in front of General Mason's Gravity Field, sending a massive shockwave in all directions. The General didn't realize what the bomb was in time to react, and he was instantly catapulted into the air, his scythe tumbling from his grasp. The Demon King wasted little time. In but a mere moment, he vanished and reappeared in midair, only a few inches from the General. Their eyes locked, and time seemed to slow down. Then, the moment abruptly ended, and Nobunaga blasted the General with a powerful sphere of darkness at point blank range. Mason's eyes bulged in surprise, and he was sent careening back down to OZ like a falling meteor. Nobunaga vanished again, this time reappearing in front of the broken bridge, on the enemy's side. The effect of the Antigravity Bomb wore off, resulting in a sudden downpour of bodies, and Nobunaga drew his twin blades, unfazed, as the enemies literally rained down around him. His body suddenly began to glow, and he was enveloped in a demonic crimson aura. Ten minutes. Ten minutes is all I need.He calmly removed his mask, placed it inside his coat's inner pocket, and charged. His blades were a blur of movement as he dashed past the disoriented enemies around him, leaving behind rivers of blood and limbs and broken metal, heading towards the crater where the General had fallen. Just as he neared the crater, a sudden explosion of rock and debris erupted into the sky, and a hundred giant pillars of solid rock barreled towards him. Nobunaga ducked beneath one pillar, destroyed another with a single slash from his sword, and leaped onto the next, running along it at insane speeds. A mountain of rock and ground rose high into the sky, a familiar figure standing on its summit, arms crossed. Nobunaga raced towards the mountain, leaping from one pillar to the next, and reducing the others to dust. Enormous shards of rock began to plummet from the sky, each the size of an entire island, flying towards him faster than should be possible. Nobunaga vanished right as the first island slammed into the ground near him, obliterating the pillar he was just on. He reappeared on the next pillar, and kept running. General Mason bellowed in rage from the seat of his skyward throne, and flew down the mountain to meet him, guns blazing. Nobunaga effortlessly ran up the side of the still rising mountain, somehow managing to dodge the barrage of hellfire that lit up the sky. The two passed within inches of each other, and sword met gun, the sound of metal clanging against metal ringing in the air. Time seemed to slow down once more, and Mason snickered. "Eat this, you son of a w****!!!"The guns fired, and Nobunaga was blown backwards. The second of the floating islands swerved to greet him with sweet oblivion, but he caught himself midair, and instead pushed off from the island, using the momentum to hurl himself back at his opponent. He was again greeted by a barrage of hellfire and rock, but he leapt from boulder to boulder, using Mason's own attacks to dodge the relentless blasts from his guns. Then, just as he landed on the boulder closest to Mason, Nobunaga disappeared. The General cursed as he frantically looked around for his opponent, who was suddenly nowhere to be seen. The Demon King looked down at his bewildered opponent from the seat of Mason's own mountain, his presence hidden under the guise of true invisibility. His swords were sheathed now, and his hands above his head. He gathered his tremendous power in his palms and grinned. "You are outmatched, General! Begone, and return to dust from whence you came!!!"Mason looked up just in time to see a black Sun descending upon him. He threw the third island at it to slow the gargantuan mass of energy down, but the island was vaporized immediately, and absorbed into the mass of energy. Mason cursed again and unleashed his full power. His muscles bulged, his body began to glow an ominous purple, and dark green dragonwings burst from his back. He reached up and caught the falling Sun, his hands burning and sizzling in the process. But it was too much, even for him. The Sun continued its decent, slowly pushing Mason down with it. It was all he could do to keep himself aloft, and the immense gravity of the energy sphere held him in place. He had a momentary, fleeting thought, that it was ironic he would meet his end because of gravity. And then the black Sun, a Shadowflare that dwarfed the one Nobunaga cast earlier, impacted the ground, crushing General Mason beneath it. He screamed, and the massive ball of energy detonated in a blinding, deafening explosion. ------- Archmage Veloth broke through Nobunaga's barrier at that same instant. He turned to regard the scene, reluctantly impressed. If the General has fallen, we will need to retreat. Still... This Outlander's power is special. His existence must be reported to my Master with all haste. But first...The Archmage turned to study the enemies below him. One appeared to resemble both a dragon and a turtle, and the other was a young girl. There was another, smaller monster, but the power Veloth sensed from it was minimal. I must make this quick. The Archmage suddenly began to glow a deep golden, and pitch black wings sprouted from his back. High in the air, with his long crimson robes, surrounded by crackling lightning, he looked like a god of thunder descending from heaven. He raised his hand and dozens of lightning bolts began to splinter the ground around his enemies in quick succession.

Yoshirou observed his surroundings as he struck a balance between listening and observing. "A place where war scarcely visits upon people. I admit, I'm intrigued, General. When I looked at the wall, I wrote it off as a simple medieval structure. But upon seeing your weaponry, I see it was only a disguise used to maintain the belief that you are not a threat to others. It is a case of "Looks can be deceiving"." He informed, his gaze sweeping everywhere.
"In fact, it teaches a valuable lesson to the foolish. One cannot simply walk through the world with a single-minded view. Tunnel vision leads to death. You expressed interest in me being an outsider. Why are they so important to this world? We're very much alike. Then again, humans of this world could share a different gene that allows the extraordinary." He drawled.

BGM; Bowser attacks (Bowser Brawl SMG2)"Hey look at the pretty light show," Bowser said staring at the lighting. "Your stupidness, watch out Kamek said as he barely managed to aviod getting struck by lighting. "Hey Bowser I think that guy over there is the archmage that Nobunaga warned us, dam he looks strong," Aylssa said pointing out the mage. "If only I had my full strength I could go toe to toe with him but at this point my fate lies in Bowser's hand, I am so f*****," Aylssa thought to herself."Really that's all you got chomp some light show," Bowser roared to the mage. "Please this is what lord minion face was worried about some guy with wings, please I seen that before," Bowser said as he brought out his blaster. "Since this coward is too scared to fight me face to face, I will just have to blast him out the sky, hey loser make your self usefull get me something to launch. Kamek was going to summon a wide assortment of shells and bullet bills but when one of the bolts struck a little to close Kamek summoned one red shell and a few goombas who were looking around confused. Bowser was too focused on hitting the flying coward, that he just grabbed a goomba and launched him towards the mage. Unfortunately, the Goomba was instantly incenrated by a lighting bolt. "Stupid lighting bolts let's see how you like this," Bowser huffed as he launched 3 Goombas in a row. The goombas that actually did manage to make it too the mage seemed like it harmlessly bounced off of him. "Grumble grumble that's it you are so gonna get it," Bowser roared out of frustration. "Oh gods I can't believe he is really that clueless," Aylssa sighed. "At least let me help out," Aylssa said as she froze a couple of Goombas. Bowser launch his last batch of ammo a couple of frozen goombas and a red shell. Bower pointed his blaster at the flying coward with wings. The red shell was bobbing and weaving around the bolts as it made its way to its target as the frozen goombas were following the red shell at a fast pace.
Back at the palace dood...... --------------------------- Lana having emerged through the other side of the portal still had tears running down her face. "Its not fair why did it have to be Cia," Lana choked out. Lana was so upset she didn't realize Charlie followed her through the portal. "Cia Cia Cia, I don't know what to do, you were there for me, when mom was busy, you taught me magic, you were like a second mom to me and to here what happened to you," Lana said as she was still very upset and was sitting down Charlie tried his best to comfort Lana sensing how hurt she was. Charlie tried to lick her face and dry her tears but Lana was still weeping. Charlie then just placed his head in her lap and just began to whimper. Lana seeing that Charlie was trying to cheer her up placed Charlie into a tight embrace and began to weep into his fur. Charlie began to gently lick Lana's face as Lana began to think of the day Cia first taught her how to use magic. 11 years ago ------------- A ten year old Lana after months of begging Cia, to teach her how to launch spells, finally wore her down. "Yay, I am so happy that you are finally teaching me magic," Lana said joyfully. "So what I am going to learn how to do first, summon a meteor, create a giant wave, ohh maybe create a violent twister, or maybe being able to generate a thunderstorm?" Lana said waiting impatiently for Cia's response.

This one is quick to understand... Perfect, absolutely perfect! He'll do nicely.
Instead of answering right away, Esdeath pointed to the top of the wall, where soldiers could be seen pacing back and forth, patrolling the area with highly advanced looking binoculars. "Tell me Yoshi, why do you think we need soldiers? What is the purpose of a soldier?"

Archmage Veloth stared down at the pathetic monster in a state of near disbelief, effortlessly avoiding its attack. Then his disbelief suddenly turned to rage, and all hell broke loose. "IMBECILE!!!! YOU ARE NOT EVEN WORTH MY TIME!!!! BEGONE!!!!"
The lightning storm intensified with his rage, and Veloth raised his hands high above his head, forming a giant ball of concentrated energy. "RETURN TO DUST!!!!"
He launched the ball at his enemies below, and as it descended, the air hummed and crackled with power, and a great windstorm arose. The very ground begin to quake and tremble, and pebbles began to rise into the air, like the ball of energy had its own gravitational field.

"Your Pokemon are all really cool," Leo says, with a hint of awe in his voice. "What about that one?" He points to the odd turtle looking thing simply chilling in the corner of the room.

Yoshirou answered right away. It was as if he had the answer in his mind right away. "A soldier is there to defend and protect their country. Furthermore, they are needed to show loyalty to ones country. A soldier is someone that will obey orders loyally and do their duty, which is, as I've already; repaying their country with bravery and loyalty. I may be getting the definition wrong, but I believe a soldier is not simply there to fight needlesly. They are here for their own dreams and desires—Selfish or heroic—like any other mortal being." He replied.
