I never said I'd be trying to take you all myself. I'm hoping for a nice big brawl, one I can take advantage of by poking around, stabbing where I can and running when I need to. Nothing personal, it'd just be fun.
The smile on Aranno's face had steadily been getting bigger since Nergui had involved herself in the conversation, but with the situation seemingly being defused in front of him, he frowned.

"If what you say is true, then you watch your mannerisms and I'll watch my back." She lowers her sword. "Making prejudiced comments doesn't make it seem like it's not a race thing, for future reference."
She shoots Ezekiel a reassuring smile. "It wasn't my intention to scare any bystanders. I'm sorry."
Looking back at everyone else, she adds "This'll go smoother if we all keep our traps shut. Except you, Bard. Know any songs to calm our nerves?"

"I think it's time to blow some steam, get everyone in the line feeling better. OK three, two, one let's jam." His fingers glide across the instrument creating a pleasant sound.

"HWARGAGHGAHGAHGAHGAGH!" The guard screams as he is torn apart by a vicious bear that leaps from the wagon.
Roll Initiative. The bear is 30 feet away and the PCs are in a 2x3 area, with Nergui being the closest (30 to the bear). Behind her is Elkas, beside him is Aranno, behind him is Ezekiel, and beside him is Morlius. There are no obstacles.

The book slams shut as the guard's cry met Ezekiel's ears. *sigh* "I really should have said something earlier..." He stood up, looking over the bear intently. |
