"Whoever did this is most likely working with someone else." She explained. "Most methods of magical rainfall usually come from Clerics or Druids, or they are one themselves."

Elkas was hanging out outside the inn waiting for more people to pass by. In the meantime though he was setting up some equipment for an acrobatic act that should attract some spectators. He knew the guys he met earlier that day were going to show up soon, and he wanted an audience ready.

"Thank you. Your information is invaluable. Is it possible though for it to be a single person?" Ezekiel wrote into his book, "Also do you have any idea why someone would want old remains? Could anything stay with the body long after death?"

"Well, skeletons are good low-grade warriors, and sometimes can keep the power of the original intact. Say, if I turned a legendary hero undead, that new creature could be just as strong if not stronger."

Ezekiel stops writing and looks up.
"And if you turned, say, a legendary wizard undead would it be able to access any magic or convey any knowledge it had before dying?"

"Depends." She replied. "Evil wizards generally become powerful Liches, but good ones tend to be able to resist that."

Lich
"...could a third party turn a corpse into a lich long after death though...doesn't make sense. One last thing. Do you know where I could go to learn more about this?"

"The Necropolis." She hissed. "City of all users of Necromancy. Anyone can train there or learn."

"Necropolis...Thank you. One last request. You've been more than helpful. Could you show me the location of Necropolis?"
He rifled through some pages, laying some down.
"I only have maps of this region. Would that be sufficient?"

"It's on a separate continent. "

"Even if you could point it out on a map, it's not like Ezekiel would be able to Waltz in, right?" Nergui asks. "If a whole city of necromancers were that easy to find, they'd have been purged a long time ago. They must have some secret location in the darkest woods of the land, in the middle of some fetid swamp land or maybe underneath some kind of volcano..."

(Sorry, this dropped off my radar)
Ezekiel got out a quill and turned to a relatively less-annotated page.
"Some reconnaissance would be needed of course. Even if I can't enter the city it's valuable knowledge, for which I am forever grateful Miss. Which continent are we dealing with, and where on it does Necropolis lie?"

"It's actually on a quiet peaceful plain, mind you." She told Nergui as she used her Mage Hand to arm-wrestle Morlius' "It's here."
She pointed at the continent nearest the equator on the eastern side of the map.
"South of these mountains."

Ezekiel noted that down, contemplating how one would finance a trip there.
(What do I have to roll to determine how much Ezekiel knows about getting there?)
"Thank you with all my blessings. And for the record, your skeletons are very good dancers."

"Thank you." The elf blushed a little bit before standing up and walking out of the inn.

Ezekiel gathered up his things and sat back to just think in peace. Another continent...this trip would have to be financed somehow. He'd need a guide. And he'd need escort. Not cheap by any means. Maybe he'd be better off searching locally before heading straight into that. I mean...if they were reanimated as liches, someone must have heard about something somewhere. Maybe he'd check by the bar in the evening. In any case...
"My name is Zeke," he said to nobody in particular, "I don't believe any of us have been introduced."

"Aranno," the elf stated as he looked up from his drink. "Gentleman, scholar, compulsive liar, and above all, thrill-seeker." He finished with a bow.

"I doubt the first two." Morlius spoke before whistling at a very tall and pretty redhead on the other side of the inn. "I am Morlius Thythus, now somewhat bankrupt book and map merchant, journeyman of the arcane and a few other things."
Would you like a drink, alcoholic or otherwise? He tried to communicate telepathically with the woman who caught his eye.

Oh? I thought you said you were somewhat bankrupt. That said... I would love it if you would join me. I have a feeling that we have much to talk about. Oh, and your companions may join us if they really would like to do so. It won't interrupt our conversations, and there's always a chance we could get one of them to pick up the tab.
Reyna turned away from the Tiefling in an attempt to appear aloof to the other people inside the inn, and also to hide a blush from her embarrassment.
I am so bad at this socializing thing...and flirting. It's mortifying...

Who said I was flirting? Morlius stood up and at near the woman. I can still hear you. Are you here with the circus? Has anyone ever told you that you're very tall?
