But he wanted Fighter. Though we do already have an Orc (half-orc?). Isn't there that draconic race that could work for Fighter? Though if he did go for Ranger (since GX seems to want to be a barbarian, which is leading me to believe she might be Maribelle) then I think half-Elf would work, wouldn't it?

A plain Elf would work better, and a Ranger is better for team Synergy.

Hm, Ranger speaks to animals yes? I'm pretty sure they have some sweet moves and feats for bows.
Elf Ranger it is. I just need to finish reading the rules, and figuring out how to make a good stat allocation that reaches 27
Rangers need Dex, so I would probably need Dex and Charisma as my two main stats? If not, I'm thinking Dex an Wis.

DEX, WIS, and CON are your most important.
For Elf, a Dark Elf would be useful, and we already have a Wood Elf.
Actually, you could go Halfling, Stout or Lightfoot.

Stout Halfling is the best for stats (+2 DEX +1 CON) and has advantage on poison saving throws in addition to taking half damage from poison.

Been wanting to play one of those since I played Inotia 3. I'll take the Dark Elf. Let's see to reach 27.... Uh, 12Dex, 8CON, 7WIS?

Actually, gnomes are gnomes.
Halflings are Hobbits.

I group them all together. Gnomes, dwarves, hobbits, halflings, they're all short people. And in the bigger picture, we're all people. And I gave the link for insurance against my insanity, so meh.

Yeah, I know. You take all the stats from the template and add numbers until they reach 27.
Though, I'll probably read all this stuff tomorrow, or when I have more time. I lack that heavily, so 50/50 chance of joining, but I'll do my utmost.

I think I'm going for Stout Halfling, Golurk.
Btw, how does rolling the die work online?
Or, are we using real die?

We're not rolling for stats. Use the point-buy.

I'd say he already understood that we were using point-buy, though his explanation of what he was doing is worded in a way that makes me feel unsure if he's doing it right. I'm pretty sure he was asking about dice rolls for the actual RP, like when attacking. At least, I hope I assumed right. Otherwise, his posts confuse me even more.

And that above info was to make sure I was doing it right. Am I?

15 is the stat cap before racial adjustment. Here is a table of How many points a stat costs: 8: 0 9: 1 10: 2 11: 3 12: 4 13: 5 14: 7 15: 9 This is how your stats will work, Fen-Fen. Just distribute 27 points between all your stats.
