Sorry for not RP posting this. You can assume that the draxans will give you your choice of place to live and just write it in. You will also have a weekly allotment of currency (which is controlled to ensure a perfect economy) like any other citizen.

It's nice having a straightforward character and a decent attention span, isn't it Golurk?

Yep.
He's really my only simple, straightforward character (so far).

I'd been meaning to ask, does he communicate with Heimer verbally? Can he communicate with Heimer verbally? I assume since only he can hear Heimer, Heimer communicates using radio waves or something, but..?

The AI is stored in his spine, which communicates with him via closed electrical signals.

And are they unable to communicate when Heimer's out and doing stuff? Is that the only way they communicate?

The AI is stored in Manhattan's spine, and the hornet-like machine is connected with Heimer via a closed network.

I'm going to make a character but I don't know what sort of weapons or abilities I should use.

Abilities, there's been a lot of stuff listed, might want to go with something mental, that hasn't been done I think. Weapons, I'd recommend not going melee. Seems we've already got more of that than we should. *Guilty* Probably something like a laser? Kinda depends on whether you want to go heavy or not.

Uh, maybe affinity or metal, and a arm that operates like mega man's?

"Affinity or metal." I have no idea what this is referring to.
And for the arm cannon, Golurk's already got one of those. Could work if you can make it work differently than his though (like using different ammunition).

Let's see, you could have him launch needles that emit electric jolts.

Draxan quiz time, go! How far have they gotten with genetically and mechanically modifying themselves (like they did with LOTUSes)? I figure not getting very far could be explained by ethics. Also, do they have the same senses as we do?

Oh wait, I thought you were talking about abilities for Phil. Sorry.
Let's see...
Cold (Liquid Nitrogen cannon that can freeze objects, create a smokescreen, etc.) Sound Magnetism (keep in mind that this is true magnetism, not metallokinesis like Magneto)
Are a few.

Draxans don't have the same kind of "genetics" as humans. Physical modification is quite typical and common. When it comes to modifying themselves, it's actually a blurred line between body mods and their interpretation of clothing or weapons. Modification usually comes in the form of removable crystals. Since their bodies are rocky and, to humans anyways, partially non-organic, they are able integrate with some draxan technology. For example, a "bullet proof vest' would be a sculpted semi-organic draxan crystal that would integrate itself onto the rocky skin of the draxan's torso. An arm cannon would be crystal-embedded technology that integrates itself into the structure of the draxan's arm. It's all completely modular and removable.
Of course, there are normal weapons and things that don't integrate with draxan biology, mostly for safety or size reasons. Integrated weaponry is normal for a Draxan, hence why the LOTUSes are superweapons integrated into humans. It's just second nature for them to assume that a gun should be built into one's arm.
Yeah, screw the hard science. I'm sure this whole thing just raises even more questions though. Bring it!

You didn't mention anything about their senses, or how far they've progressed with "genetic" modifications. Is it normal for them to have, e.g. super-human reflexes/senses/durability, or the ability to store fuel and the like inside themselves? Just because they don't use DNA or RNA doesn't mean they can't have their genetic material modified.

So are you going to be Phil still or are you going to be your new character? Just asking doesn't bother me either way.

The electric needle thing should still be considered, with the arm cannon. And X, I got the feeling he was gonna do both.
