The fourth one sounds up my alley, but I'm not sure yet.

Why not just go w/ old reliable One Winged Angel as your theme song?
Also what can I have Brooke and Phil do for work. Is there still bounty hunting or something along those lines? Unless everyone is currently busy with there arcs. Maybe me and King could be bounty hunters when we hear about another PC and then we go chasing after them? Unless everything is already set. Just curious that's all

One Winged Angel's lyrics are made specifically for Sephiroth. So I don't think that would be a good choice.

The possibly dangerous awakenings would usually happen aboard the Fantasia, but less threatening ones like Kyrie could be opened up in a secure chamber below New Earth.
As for things for Brooke to do...be a superhero? For the time being? Maybe someone kidnaps Phil for his drugs idk. The cities are like human cities so anything could happen. If Cheese ever showed up then you'd definitely have stuff to do with his character but as it stands...sorry.

I assume Draxans have shorter life-spans than us? And are they around our body temperature?
You mentioned that our hologram projectors "can't be seen through so easily, unless you're a Draxan or your vision has been augmented like ours have been." Are you saying Draxans can inherently see through the holograms?
I thirst for this knowledge, so that I might abuse it (and so we don't have more confusion later on).

Longer life spans, longer gestation, and internal body temperature about 10 degrees higher.
By the way I'm completely BSing as I go along. I can't wait to contradict myself or fall into a plot hole.
Draxan occular nerves are different from humans. Of course, if they were going to give away technology to a superweapon that would let them disguise themselves, they would make a failsafe of some sort. It's more probable that they simply have better anti-hologram lenses, but I like to think that all the LOTUS holograms are tinted a certain colour that humans can't perceive but draxans can.

So, they're careful making a failsafe for the disguises, but not for the anti-matter-powered star-destroying abomination? These guys are pretty f***ing legit. I mean it.

They didn't know about Omega. They've gotten more careful since.

Oh, they came up with the holograms afterwards? Wait, do they have a different model they use for Draxans? Or do Draxans just not care about physical appearances and/or find physical disguises useless? I need to know, this is very relevant to making up a Draxan.
You're welcome Neo.

Holographic technology is a big thing that's been around for a while in this setting. I really don't see how having holograms has anything to do with waking up Omega...
Anyways, the draxan civilians would have their own hologram generators and anti-hologram lenses, and those would be cross compatible with human ones. The only difference would be that the draxan ones would include the draxan-only visible spectrums that human ones don't. They'd be treated just like they are in human society. The military grade ones like the LOTUSes use need military grade anti-hologram lenses to see through them, and the militant draxans would have ones of those caliber. And to stop the arms race, there really shouldn't be a tier above the military holograms. Just leave it at civilian and military level.
So many questions! I'm kind of flattered but it's also testing my creative stamina.

So... *Tries to get it all straight in his head*
Draxans can only naturally see through civilian-grade human holograms? And military-grade technology can see through all grades?
And the thing about Omega was just how you said they made a failsafe with the holograms, but they apparently didn't make any for dealing with Omega, who's obviously more dangerous. Found it funny, I guess.

Ah, so this is what a backpedalling retcon feels like
Sorry if there's a lot of confusion.
The Draxans cannot see through regular holograms, rather there are visual cues and imperfections in human holograms that Draxans can see but humans can't. That gives them away as humans using holograms hence being able to "see through" the disguise. The military grade can see through all holograms, yes. And just to clarify "see through" means that they can see the disguised figure faded behind the projection. You can still see both the hologram and the person. LOTUSes have the military grade lens built into their eyes. Holograms not used in a civilian way are supposed to be trivial to deal with.

And do those imperfections exist in all human holograms, or just civilian-grade? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one confused/looking so far into it, and this'll be the last question, so that's good.

I will say yes human holograms do all have imperfections, including military. Its difficult enough to make a hologram, why go beyond what's needed when the consumers won't notice?

Does that include the ones LOTUSes use? And you used parentheses around "see through" when talking about the Draxan's natural ability, but also said they "can't see through regular holograms." I'm guessing they can tell when humans are using holograms, not see what the person really looks like?
I was wrong about not having more questions, and I'm sorry.

Yes including LOTUS ones. Yes your guess is correct.
Don't worry about the questions. I only worry about contradicting myself as you ask more

Alright, so Kyrie's stealth isn't completely worthless (maybe a flawless model could be an upgrade someday?). Neat.
Most of this wasn't relevant to my Draxan, but that's beside the point. Are there any naming conventions I should know about for Draxans?

You could definitely get a hologram upgrade, maybe even something a LOTUS can't see past, at some point. When the power creep all starts happening.
Not really, but it should make sense in English because of the way the translator works. So it wouldn't be a huge mess of letters that you can't pronounce.
