The electric needle doesn't really constitute a theme though.

Forgot the senses. Right you are. Vision as I said earlier sees a wider spectrum than humans, but is about the same quality, a bit better at seeing far distances due to the extra height. Their hearing would detect lower frequencies than humans can, but humans can hear higher frequencies than draxans can. Smell and Taste don't exist for draxans, but a chemical detecting equivalent is included in their sense of "touch", just like our sense of heat and pressure are both rolled into "touch".
They haven't bothered to try and modify their genotypes since their phenotypes are so easily modified there wouldn't be much of a point. It would be as normal for them to have enhanced abilities as it would for a human to have technology to fill the same role. A man can see further if he has a telescope. It just so happens that the draxan telescope can be combined with the draxan eye. Whereas humans can build ironman suits, Draxans just bulk themselves up with materials. But no, Draxans do not typically have innate superpowers.
Also, electric needles that can create an electric field to supplement the manipulation of magnetic fields sounds like a good start. And think of the synergy with the storm cloud guy, hm...

The electric needle doesn't really constitute a theme though. So he extends it outward. Uses electricity for more stuff, like an electrically charged weapon (maybe even use different intensities or frequencies to heat the blade or knock people out when applied to certain areas, maybe overload pain receptors). Another thing to consider would be electromagnetic fields, which would kinda fit. Though, all of this might be crossing into Brooklyn's character's territory. I get Manhattan's theme is kinda Metroid, but can I ask what you see Kyrie's theme as?

Manhattan needs to have an ability that allows him to transform into a big blue giant. And he needs a Doctorate in Physics.

Figured out another character. Hopefully he's interesting enough and provides something the story could use. *Crosses fingers and hopes he didn't break lore/logic/science while making this*
Name: Jerus Ralcyon (Jair-us Rall-see-on) Gender: Male (Draxan) Age: 42 (I assume this would be roughly equivalent to a 28-year old human?) Appearance: Dark brown scales, short but thick scale-cut (that's what I'm calling their "stylings" OOC), and wears dark green bands around his wrists and ankles. Usually has crystal plates attached to his torso and legs. His civilian-grade hologram shows him with burnt-orange scales and covers up his arms and armor. Only 7'8" (I assume this is slightly short for a Draxan?). His mechanical parts are covered with stitched-up versions of his old skin, concealing them to an extent. His crystals glow a bright green, two jutting from his shoulders and four from his back. Home District: Fantasia Bio: A descendant of one of the scientists who developed the LOTUSes, he found their journal at a young age, and became enamored with the idea. Unable to find any LOTUSes for himself, he used the notes to figure out most of the science behind it all. Aware of Omega's existence, tendencies, and vague destructive potential thanks to the journal, though not his abilities, he uses his ancestor's prediction of Omega's return as an excuse for his curiosity. Currently preparing to begin experimenting with human test subjects to make new LOTUSes, after putting out some ads for subjects on New Earth's black market. Has little professional experience in his field, and mostly works in secret, obtaining funding by doing odd jobs (including mercenary work). Destroyed the journal after memorizing it, and did most of his personal mods himself (lots of anesthesia, lots of patience and lots of rigs. Didn't have many people he could turn to for assistance). Despite the extra effort it took and the risk factor, he made the modifications to both of his arms using human alloys, saying "it'll be more durable than crystals, though I'll need a good cooling system for the rails, and some time to adjust to any acid contamination that might occur." Regards the modern Draxan military as foolish for not toying with LOTUSes further, or for playing with Draxan genotypes as he has. Slight bitterness comes from when he brought some of his ideas to some of the officials, and he was told to cease and desist. Faked his death before continuing. Is a drunk, addicted to a Draxan drink known as "Zen" that steams in the cup, and affects reaction time more than the mind. Comes across as enthusiastic about his work. Abilities: Replaced his entire left forearm with a mechanical one, clawed and capable of heating the hand to extreme temperatures, used for melee (fiery b****slap) and primarily for procuring ammo (by ripping it out of the floor, walls, etc.) for the rail-gun embedded in his right forearm (which can hold ten shots at a time, each roughly an inch in diameter). The mechanical left arm has two storage spaces, one on the inside of the forearm that stores two minutes' worth of air (and a mask to administer the air through), and another on the outside that stores the battery his arms operate off of. Knows most of the LOTUSes' serial numbers (not names) and abilities, is familiar with how they operate and were designed, and could modify them. Figured out a genetic modification to improve his reflexes, based off of the modifications that were applied to the LOTUSes. Energy Source: Electricity Theme Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zI8ITsTQ0UQ#t=35Though he obviously takes this attitude with the Draxan military instead of rock n' roll bands...
Thought it'd be nice to have a proper LOTUS-focused scientist, since he could serve as an explanation for some of the future genetic mods, and help with power creep. It'll probably be hard for me to power him up though. And there's a decent chance the government would frown upon what he's doing, so that might be a good source of early conflict. *Prepares to edit, hopes he won't have to delete*

Dammit Doug, I was going to use a claw hand. Screw it. I'll go for acidic whips instead. What's a good chemical for that?

So am I correct that magnetism is a mix of lighting and electricity?
Is it alright to have an arm canno that "pulls" things toward Emar?

Name: Emar
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Home Ship: America
Abilities: A arm cannon with a thing wiry wire attached that channels electricity and lightning to create magnetism. It mixes the two, forming a "pull" that pulls things toward him. He can separate the two, and either shoot thin small swords of electricity that act as objects that repulse things , or either a steady stream of lightnig to paralyze the opponenet.
His right hand can "withdraw" inside itself, and replaces itself with a venomous green whip made of toxin/toxic chemicals. The whip is suited for burning, and inflicting burn damage.
Appearance: His true form takes has strong jet powered Wings that carry him to the sky. His weapons remain in the same place, but his right eye operates like a microscope, used for zooming in on things. It takes the color of green-blue.
His projected appearance is that of a young man dressed in a "foreign" sort of dressing. More of a hakama, sleeveless black shirt and a Obi tied around his waist. His hair is neck length, and midnight colored, borderline blue with hazel eyes.
Energy source: canister of toxin, and a pole which is made to channel electricity and lightning into him. He plugs it into the arm canon, and dips his other hand in the toxin, allowing the whip to refill itself.
Bio: The LOTUS with the mos verge performance of them all. The scientists that researched them considered scrapping him for a more efficient project, but one decided to take an interest in him. They set to work on him immediately, using all sorts of thing they could think of from ancient earth history.
More accurately, the basis of Frankestein for his weapony. Anothe wished him to have a vile weapon, and created a tubed whip filled with the most dangerous chemicals.
Emar would later go on to be tested to see if he was worth it. Satisfied, the researchers kept him, making any needed modifications such as wings. On the day of release, a special modification was made. Inserted into his right eye to activate in a time of his most greatest despair.
A Eldritch abomination form that combined his weaponry together to forge a mechanical monster capable of adapting to more powerful foes. The researche gave him his name. Project: Omalpha.
I...hope this is good?

Inserted into his right eye to activate in a time of his most greatest despair. Either you didn't tell us about this special modification, or you made the telescope feature sound pretty bada**. Am I far off when I imagine the arm cannon looking like this? And I don't think you really have a grasp on this whole magnetism thing. Also get the feeling your whip should be coated in toxins, rather than made of them.

Electromagnetism is achieved when sending electricity through metal via copper wires.
You could just use a magnet gun ala Red Faction Armageddon (you might like this better).

Omalpha sounds kind of bad.
Plus, his theme doesn't really seem to fit. It seems a bit scattered. Plus, wings?

Fenris, how about a whip enhanced with battery acid instead of toxins? Keeps with the electrical theme. The wings could be solar sails. So you can recharge through chemical and solar means as well.
Golurk means "theme" as in "thematic powers". Manhattan = Radiation, Anthea = Time, Omega = Antimatter and so on

I thought she meant theme as in character style, since she mentioned that Manhattan is sort of "Metroid". Kyrie's power theme I would call espionage.
Battery acid doesn't really work with the electrical theme, as its not electric in nature.

Makes more sense than random poison. It's like a bonus to carrying electrolytic cells that store power. A fire themed one could use flammable gasses for things, an electric one can use battery acid. I do get though that eletrochemistry -> electric fields -> magnetic fields is kind of a stretch though.

I'll go with the magnet gun that looks like mega mans arm, but I want to keep my toxin whip. Sorry.
Don't really care if Omalpha is bad. That can sorta go with your opinion also. No offense Golurk, but if you're going to insult, so can I .

Fair enough. I'll just headcanon that your toxins are from an electrolytic cell
