Eden, Saga 1: War of the Magi

"My name is Teak. Teak Altaxis." Teak states flatly. "Sir Marhh I have need to speak with his eminence before we continue further and I would appreciate you following me to see him." Teak adds calmly.

"Mostly propriety. I have not yet officially submitted my self for servace in his house. Until I do so I am still bound under my orders from Lady Athena, which were to come here and meet with his Eminence. I have a few questions I would like answerd as well but that is not a priorety." Teak replies dryly.

"Shouldn't I also be privy to this priority information? Does it not concern me in some way?" Marrh asked Teak. If she was hiding something, he would did out regardless.

Marrh let out an ah in realization, feeling slightly embarrassed. He found the best solution was to head upstairs to said location. "Coming?" He called over his shoulder casually.

"And here we are." Marrh said, opening the door for Teak.

Greimrich raised his eyebrows at her earlier tone. "Oh, and what duty is this?" He places his chin on his hands curiously. She certainly couldn't be referring to her mission from Athena, she wasn't his soldier anyway.

Greimrich carefully stared at Teak. He had a good reason, but should he really tell her? He gave a slight sigh.
"I understand you two got off to a bad start, but I'm doing this for reasons I cannot disclose right now. I ask of you to have patience, and that all shall be revealed in time. If that does not quench your answer, I'm afraid nothing will." He ended formally.

               "Ms your order will be ready soon," the work smith told Shiva. "Okay but you better be careful with that armor otherwise you will have me to answer to," Shiva told the smith in return.

While waiting Shiva took a stroll around town with Charlie and began to think about to her past a little.

17 years ago......

    "Yawn, that was a good sleep?" a young girl said waking from her slumber. "Mama Dada, I am hungry," Alyssia said as she got up from her bed. "Mom, Dad they are probably still asleep they can be so lazy sometimes," Alyssia said hoping out of bed while in her night gown. "I guess I will just have to wake them up myself," Alyssia said going into her parent's room. "That's odd they are not here, maybe they went off to work already but they usually wait until abuela is here," Alyssia said just slightly worried. "Oh well for now I guess I will just make myself breakfast," Alyssia said hoping downstairs.

Later in the Day ...

      "Where are they usually they are him by now?" Alyssia said while panicking.  "Am I all alone," Alyssia asked while beginning to cry. ,"Why? Why did mom and dad not show up by now?" Alyssia asked while sobbing.


        " Ms. your order is ready," the young smith called out to Shiva. "Come on Charlie the sooner we are done babysitting this brat the sooner I can west this duchesses and the sooner he will pay for what he did," Shiva said while getting her armor and sword sheaths which have been reinforced with rubber. "Here you go sir here's your payment," Shiva said handing him the gold. "Feels much lighter I might have had to get rid of some of the heavier material but so be it," Shiva said putting on her new armor.

 Shiva and Charlie made one last stop to pick up something to eat and made there way over to the church lobby. "Okay now we just have to wait for those two to stop complaining to the old man then we can go," Shiva told Charlie as the both eat there food waiting for Teak and Marrh.

Divines, why did Greimreich always use that same word when something life changing was about to happen?
No matter, Marrh straightened himself, nodding respectfully. "If you say so..." He sighed at the end. Without paying attention further, he left to head back downstairs. He had musing to do.
