Eden, Saga 1: War of the Magi

"Shock everyone? Thanks for the good idea." Teak replied with a smirk, as the power in palm shot down at the floor and then to every one else in the room. "Thats the thing about thunder magic it can stun without killing. This should end the standoff quite nicely." Teak added slightly bemused.

"Your girlfriend isn't really thinking about doing that is she?" Shiva asked Marrh. Shiva found her answer as a jolt went through the area shocking everyone. "Dam all I wanted to do was ask someone if they know the pope," Shove shouted stunned. "I could careless what you two lovebirds are doing, I am looking for the devil named Deo and the pope might have heard of him," Shiva said frustrated. "Honestly, I just wanted to talk to someone, I can't help it if the church is too cheap to hire a secratary," Shiva groaned as Charlie limped his way back to Shiva.

"Everyone remain still! I shall not have any sort of fighting in my Church." Greimrich howled, storming down the steps. He gave each of them a dark look. "Explain yourself!"

                "If you would get the stuff from out of your ears I just wanted to ask a dam question you little wench," Shiva growled towards the young lady standing next to her. "I can't help it if the guards were on break when I arrived because I didn't see a soul," Shiva groaned. "If you must know my name is Alyssia Lockhart I am a co-captin of the Aledean officers, and an ex-employer of a man named Deo," Shiva said. "I was hoping to get in touch with the pope and just ask if he heard anything about Deo so that one day I could run my blade through Deo and his little puppet right hand man, because he thought he could just attempt to kill me and leave me for dead and for killing my parents," Shiva said frustrated. "I can't help it that these two lovers want to be all gun-ho and want to attack first and ask questions later," Shiva told the man.

"If you think I will go quietly in Shackles like some common criminal you have another thing coming," Shiva told the man waiting for his response.

Marrh ran a hand over his face. "For the last time, me and Teak are not lovers. You would do well to keep assumptions to yourself." Marrh sighed. Greimrich stepped down te steps quietly, face passive. The room Egan to heat up suddenly, feeling close to a desert's temperature. "Enough is enough! You will all be silent while I sort this out. Miss Lockheart, you will follow me. Any attempt to provoke anyone under my command and church is an immediate clear out. Do I make myself clear?" He asked pointedly.

"Hey, lad! You might want te think about heading below! Cap says there be a nasty storm brewing, and I'd take her word seriously, if I were you!"

Val only sighs as he leans against the side of the ship, staring at the frothy waves below. How in the Six did he end up here... Just when his fortunes were finally beginning to change... After countless hours of grovelling and the world's longest staring contest, he finally managed to convince that stubborn old fool to give him the location. After so freaking long, he finally has it within his grasp: Shipwreck Isle, and the Magistine that lay hidden within. It was a cliche name, true, but a worthy one. The Island is perpetually surrounded by a dense fog, and the waters are brimming with jagged rocks, remains of broken ships, and odd noises, leading to the wild tales of the Isle being cursed. But he knew better. It wasn't a curse that kept the unworthy away, but an Eldritch Beast. And not just any, but the most powerful beast of them all... A beast so dangerous it was categorised as an SS Rank monster by the Mages Guild, though nearly everyone believes the thing to be mere legend, nothing more.

Val, however, knew better. That thing was what forced the old geezer into retirement. And it is the guardian of the strongest Magistine in the world. The only issue... Is actually getting to the damn Isle. Because of the damn legend, there isn't a sailor under the Sun who's willing to sail there. When he asked around back in Sarracosta, everyone looked at him like he was crazy. The only one who was any help at all, was a giant brute of a woman named Skijor, who said his best bet was to go to the Dukedom, and look for the Grey Anchors, the only sailors crazy enough to take the job. So here he is, on a rickety old ship beneath angry clouds, heading to the one place he swore he'd never go back to. Just my damn luck...

"Hey, didn't you here me?!" The sailor shouts again.

Val calmly removes a single gold coin from his coat pocket. Heads, I punch him in the jaw. Tails...

He flicks the coin into the air, catching it in his palm, and flipping it onto the back of his opposite hand. Tails... Well, crap. That blows like a hyped up Whale on drugs in a storm. He promptly sighs again, turning on his heel, and heading towards the cabin. "I hear you," he calls out to the sailor, waving dismissively.

He reaches the cabin door, his hand reaching out to grab the knob, and he abruptly stops. "Hey, I don't suppose you have any bamboo sticks?" He calls out to the bewildered sailor, who only shakes his head.

"Aww man... I haven't had one since port. Now what am I going to feed my addiction?"

He sighs. Again. This is going to be an absolutely wonderful day.

"I should have though not many know his real name, the bastard has so many alaias," Shiva said out loud. "Sorry about that sir I kinda of forgot who I was in the presence of, please forgive me," Shiva said with a bow."Hmm I remember his right hand man refer to him Jullis once, does that sound familiar at all sir?" Shiva asked. "Maybe you know somebody who has heard of Jullis or Deo?" Shiva asked the pope. "If not I understand, I will take my leave of this place and you will never see me again," Shiva told the pope.

"About the rucus early today you and only you I will apologize to," Shiva told the pope while she waited for his response.

Shiva raised an eyebrow at the pope's request for a favor. "What kinda of favor do you need sir?" Shiva asked the pope while waiting for his response.

"If that's what you wish sir me and Charlie will accompany Marrh on his journey," Shiva said in response. "Do you think it would be possible to meet with Ms. Caana when we return?" Shiva asked. "If not I understand, regardless I will take you up on that favor and accompany Marrh, and his lady friend," Shiva said. "When do we leave sir?" Shiva asked while waiting for the pope to respond.
