I'm gonna go ahead and create this in Emperor's place, but my knowledge of the RP is more plot and character wise. If you need to know something about one of the cities or locations, you're gonna have to wait for Mr. RP Creator. I will probably post the lore concerning the Stones, and Emperor will post the lore about the world itself. Since, you know, he actually created the world to begin with.

Gaia (Eden)
Gaia, the name that humankind have their world. It was created by Hectate. The world runs on magic, magic created by Hectate herself. Gaia lived through thousands of years of peace until the first war of creation. All the major Gods minus Hectate were slain. during the second war with Nyx, Hectate created mankind using the fallen body of Zeus.
Nyx awoke and laid ruin to the world, creating an ruined world. The ancient kingdoms of old were tattered in ruins as mighty battles between Nyx and the Sage and the Pilgrim arose. Magic tearing the land in two. Upon the end of the war and the sealing, the world was rebuilt.
Humans needed a more stable place where a calamity like this would never happen again. Adaein, the empire, was built to decide the affairs of the continent and Magistine. The ruling family, Baesach, created a senate to help oversee these affairs. To the southern of the Grimoire border laid Ragnarok, a newly formed dukedom that grew tired of being old what they could not do. It was ruled by five dukes with the tiltle Grand duke, each powerful wielders of their Magistine.
With Hectate the only God left, the church was founded to worship the six divine mages, including the sage himself as Gods. The pope worked with the Grand dukes to make the dukedom mighty.
To the Far East in the desert, Ysgran was formed. Lead by a hero who led a resistance during a mini civil war, Magi War, Ysgran was a simple mercenary. When the Magi war died down, the desert town was named after him. Many years passed between their founding.
A new era, Gaia 991, has begun.

Important figures:
Theodotus Baesach: The current emperor of the Adaein Empire. He and his son, Theodore has disappeared without a single trace. There are rumors that he may have an illegitimate child hidden somewhere. The empire is split over these rumors. Theodotus is regarded as a gentle man that is a skilled negotiator. He is one of the best Magistines wielders, considered a prodigy and the youngest emperor in history.
Upon stepping on the battlefield during the Magi war, his fire magic was said to incinerate his enemies in their tracks. A merciless man when provoked, but a grandfather to those he cherishes deeply. Inferno Emperor is his most famous title.
Grand Duke I, Alcaeus: One of the five grand dukes of Ragnarok. The most selfless of them all, but hotheaded too. He is the current head of the Romenian house. Skilled greatly with Thunder magic and a top general. Master of Thuder is his title.
Grand Duke II, Photios: The only noncombatant of the Grand Dukes, but a living legend among those who seek the art of support and healing. A excellent wielder of a Light Magistine. He assigns orphans to the pope an the church. A gentleman who will do anything for good. Paladin is his title.
Grand Duke III: Athena: Not to be confused with the goddess Athena. Nearly like her namesake, Athena is a proficient wielder of Earth Magistine. She is a patient woman that prefers politics to win her wars rather than battle. The head of Mages who wish to learn how to wield weapons. Nature Queen is her title.
Grand Duke IV, Kronos: The leader of the war sect. Like his profession, he craves war, dedicating his life to battle strategies and Magistine tactics. He is quite aggressive and cunning despite his profession. He is a skilled wielder of Dark Magistine. Titan of War is his title.
Grand Duke V, Caana: A shy woman that many don't understand how she has her position. Possibly the second wisest of the dukes after Athena herself. A skilled wielder of water Magistine. Caana is no reluctant fighter, but prefers to study her opponent and their abilities before doing anything. She is a contender with Athena for most patient. Quiet maiden is her normal title.

Just to let everyone know, since the RP will probably be up soon. During an encounter and subsequent battle with an Eldritch Beast, I will be the one writing for the Eldritch Beast and controlling it during battle.
Also, you can find hints to Waystone Locations at a branch of the Mages Guild, which is a Guild established by the Empire to provide information and lodgings for Mages. There are branches in every major city in the Empire, and there are also branches in the Dukedom.
I will write for the major officials in the Mages Guild, but feel free to add or create new characters for the Guild.

Yup looks like the Marrh x Athena ship is unofficially going to be under construction . Does anyone know how to draw blue prints I am a terrible artist? Also glad to see you weren't sucked into the bottomless void known as Tales of (hope this is spelled right) Xillia 2. We need someone to guide us otherwise its chaos  |

Glaucus is a Grey Anchor like his father and his father's father and all that. The Grey Anchors are essentially like the Monster Hunter Association but work on ships as protectors.
I just felt like fleshing Hera out a bit.
