I'd honestly want to stick to original characters and locations, or KH exclusive ones like Twilight Town. We're already making a crossover RP, and making a crossover in KH form would not only steal the spotlight from the crossover series, but make it impossible to run an RP about them in the future. If we wanted a Smash Bros RP, it'd be redundant if we used nintendo in KH. Same goes with movies or literature.
Never mind, a thought just occurred to me. I wouldn't mind a KH/Dissidia RP that used KH as the main thread. Forget cycles and gods and stuff, Heartless are tearing open holes in worlds and Kefka/Garland/Caius wants in. And of course we could use Chrono and Neku and stuff as well. Characters would be OCs either from new Final Fantasy-like realms or from established universes. Keyblades mandatory for PCs since the main threat would be heartless, but you could still have Galuf/Rinoa/Auron in your party.
So basically, KH without the Disney. Which is unfortunate since I would have wanted Iron Man.

Empire are you a fan of the NFL? Also I wanted to do ESPN  . I was going to use Woody Paige or Gonzalo Lebatard (Papi). Or better yet Skip Bayless or Stephen A Smith... |

We could do KH with Disney but with Disney and FF being 50/50 instead of just Disney/FF 80/20 (roughly)

Would Keyblades really be necessary? People like Cloud, Goofy, Axel and Squall are capable of killing Heartless without them, even Sora when he uses magic.

It could be a subclass of weapons. Like sword, lance, wand, keyblade.

Only Keyblades can kill them off and restore hearts. If they're killed and a keyblade isn't present then they can just reform and come back later. At least, I think that's how it works. |

I mean, obviously we need a few Keyblades, and Heartless will be able to restore themselves when not killed by a Keyblade, but I'm pretty sure they don't respawn then and there, so it shouldn't be a problem for some of us to not have Keyblades.

I should note though when I proposed the Dissidia idea, there will be KH elements, but none of the actual KH in it. So no Sora or MX or Mickey or Twilight Town. There's way too much mythology in all that to try and throw that in with the rest of the FF universe.
So I'm proposing two ways. Either only KH with no crossover element, or Dissidia with Heartless and Nobodies and Keyblades and giant heart moons.

Wow and I thought I posted some crazy stuff. Maybe somebody should lay off the Palkia dream mist for awhile. Whales and magic and blah blah blah. I have chortles over such a fury less claim. Lol  Anyway back onto the RP. Why not just some people use Keyblades and others use weapons that are imbuned w/ key blade property. |
