Well, technically, it was Cheese's idea that was probably supposed to be a one time joke. Which I then took, expanded, made even more crazy, and named. Then it became a bit of a running joke. And eventually the concept was adapted in order to provide a seperate topic dedicated to shipping Golurk and I together. And it worked. Next time on Totally Useless Facts, we'll be looking at the history of- *shot* I know I'm new around her, but holy s*** this sounds fun. Anyone wanna give advice on topics I need to run through to understand the gist of things? We're discussing things that happened before the Team Nova RP migrated to this site from GameFAQs. Somewhere in one of the actual RP topics, Cheese created a soap opera. I was bored, so I took the opprotunity to parody soap operas, and called it The Bold and the Beautifly. Later on, after our discussion topics moved to a dead Pokemon board thanks to moderations, and people started shipping Golurk and I, they started writing elaborate soap opera style scenes using us as the characters. It was both infuriating, and hilarious. I can probably dig up a link or two. It feels like it was a very long time ago. But those kinds of things are why the entire Nova crew is so close now. Of course, there are still plenty more wacky moments ahead, and maybe new people will be there to join us. |

Do you have a relationship that you would like a forum to support? I think it would work better if the shipped ones are actually forum goers. Otherwise, I envision it being like Facebook or some s***, where it's just updates and people congratulating or whatever. |

Let's see, so far, there are several RPs and CYOAs on the Verse. Important RPs so far are Team Nova, which was held on GameFAQs for almost a year now, Austur, the first RP on this board (you don't need to read through it by the way if you want to join, as no terribly big events have happened yet beyond a certain emperor adopting a new daughter and finding his grandson), and the crossover one, which hasn't started yet. There are also two DnD topics, one that's already started, and one that's recruiting. Both are 3.5e. As for CYOAs, the biggest ones are Unnecessary Balance, which is over a year old and was hosted on GameFAQs before here, and the Eternal Hymn. There's also Wheels Within Wheels and The Missing God. Oh GCF, still as ashamed as ever. I may or may not have been drinking so I don't really have questions to send, nor do I know much about the stat trainers beyond their most recent arc :T. You have no proof that I'm sober and able to post! None I say! |
