Even with the multipliers, I played some stages that only dropped a heart once, which gets around 25-ish.

While all the PWs suck except for Saheeli and Mitanou-Felidar ETB loop, the Izzet sub-commanders shown off today look great. Tawnos is super cheap and gives your artifacts more value and Brudiclad has ridiculous potential by generating tokens and making all tokens you control into copies of any token you control. With stuff like Mirror Gallery and Helm of the Host, you can have a nasty self-replicating general, or you could just copy Wurmcoils so when they die you can make even more Wurmcoils.

Yeah I like Brudiclad a lot. It's a creative direction for Izzet artifacts.
Tawnos though, feels like Jhoira-lite in terms of being an slightly different flavor of artifact-combo "I go infinite with Paradox Engine" commander. Like, you'd put him in Jhoira or vice-versa, or just put both in Breya.

Now THAT'S a Rakdos commander. This is the most appealing new card for me so far.

None of the Jund commanders interest me but I do like Xantcha. Don't know if she'll outlcass Marchesa as a politics Commander, or even outclass Mathas.
Plus she's super vulnerable to sac engines. Now if she couldn't be sacrificed, then I'd definitely grab her, but for now, I'll wait and see if Ravnica brings us a better one.

I don't see Xantcha as a politics commander. I see a silly aura voltron commander which smokescreens for the true wincon of getting Urborg/Coffers/etc to make big mana, drain someone out, and draw/tutor into a combo win like Zealous Conscripts/Kiki-jiki.
...so basically I like her because I could build her like a Simic deck but in Rakdos. Go figure. I might just get one to put in my Kydele/Vial Smasher infinite mana deck instead of building her though, hm.

So, Bunny, which of the new commanders do you like the most? Xantcha is the most interesting to me, but I think I'll run that enchantment creature lady for the most part. Maybe the Jund Spider as a group slug Commander.

As a card, I really want Arixmenthes, even if it's not good. I'll just go super casual sea monsters, or slot it into my Zegana deck somewhere.
As for a commander I'd actually build, Xantcha or Varchild are the most interesting, but I don't think I'm actually building them. I'm focusing on finishing Coin Flip.dek and upgrading my Ruric Thar deck to Tana/Tymna null-blue group slug.
