Also not sure how many people have Mario Kart 8 but apparently Link is going to be one of the characters you can use in an upcoming DLC? Just was wondering what people thought of? Link being in a Mario Kart game? I have seen the future, where Mario Kart is plused with Super Smash Bros to make Super Kart Bros. The profits lead to Nintendo becoming a multi-f***tillion dollar company and buying out Sony, Microsoft, Capcom, SEGA, Konami, Ubisoft, Activision, etc. (except for EA). |

Okay, so I've been thinking, I have seen lots of different versions of the Favored Soul, since it uses a bizarre mixture of stats. For being a divine spellcaster, it doesn't have Knowledge (religion) but instead has Knowledge (arcana) (though WotC did later release a statement saying that the two could be swapped out as part of the rules). Plus, it's Save DCs are affected by its Wisdom instead of Charisma, which would make sense except for the fact that the class casts from Charisma instead of Wisdom.
Would anyone oppose the use of CHA as the Save stat for Favored Soul?

What do you mean by Western Zodiac? Capricorn, Pisces, etc.? Seems like a kinda lame pantheon TBH. : P How about Celtic gods instead?

I don't know much about Celtic Gods.
Plus, I was going to take creative liberties with the Zodiac.
Aries would be a CE Flaming Goatman who wields a Greataxe, while Leo would be a LN Guardian of Peace who wields a Bastard Sword.

The Celtic gods are probably the most humanlike pantheon, probably since the Celts were all either murdered or Christianised before they got that whole writing everything down thing in habit. If you told me the domains you're using (or at least which books you're using for material) then I could come up with 12 gods and give them all domains pretty easily. Of course, if you wanna make a god out of two fish... : P Stranger things have happened.
You're probably at least familiar with a few of them, by name. Morrigan, Ogma, Nuada, Lugh...

Whenever I try to anthropomorphize the sidereal Zodiac I always stumble on Virgo, and trying to differentiate Pisces/Aquarius and Ares/Capricorn/Taurus.
Wanna be different? Use Maori gods. I've always kept that in my "uniqueness" basket. The major Maori pantheon are the gods of Man/War, Storms, Forest life, Sea life, Crops, and Wild Plants. They are all siblings and the offsrping of a Sky Father and Earth Mother. They also all have Maori names that I can never recall.

The sisters are usually cited as Babd, Macha and Nemhain and are taken as a triad to be "the Morrigan" but texts aren't clear and sometimes you see it referred to as an individual named Morrigan. I don't think anyone can say which one is correct, and the blame belongs to either some monk who wrote it down or some bard who didn't get it straight, most likely. |

I'm trying to keep a sense of balance and some familiarity and want to avoid more obscure ones. It helps maintain lore among people.
As for Pisces and Aquarius, Pisces would be a Sea Dragon and Aquarius a mermaid, while Virgo would just be a maid. Ares would be fire, Capricorn would be earth, and Taurus would be war.

Plus, I don't think we'll necessarily need the domains since I'm trying to keep a tier 2-3 power level. That's why I'm using Favored Soul instead of Cleric.
Speaking of Favored Soul, no objections?

Okay, so let's switch the Romans with the Celtics, and swap the halflings over to that pantheon. This isn't counting the Old One gods like Cthulhu, Yog Sothoth, Nyarlothotep, and the others.
