Can I climb a nearby tree without alerting the kobolds? If none of them have a handhold low enough for Gildis to reach, he can use his grappling hook.

You shouldn't try Diplomacy. At low levels, it's pretty difficult, plus, I have a better chance of succeeding with it.

Well, Russell got a 4 on his move silently check. Which is kind of why I've been stalling, since I need to draw the map before the encounter can start.
But for your questions,
Yellow, you would once again need a natural 20 to succeed. Twice.
Cheese, yes you could. The kobolds would not be in range to attack you before you finished climbing.

Sneaking in armor is a bad idea. Remember that. Especially if you have no ranks in Move Silently.

Are we going to use a craft point system, or just wait a week for the crafting process?

Azreal has +4 move silently since I haven't actually changed feats. Should he go first?

I thought I had a decent chance and sigh Anna gave me a 4. Oh well the one time I take a chance thinking there was an okay chance but it blows up in my face. Last time I try to do something reckless like that sigh

She didn't give you a four. She gave you a higher number but you're wearing armor so you have a penalty.

So I rolled a 10 but due to the penalty it was a 4. Should have just stuck with my original plan. On a positive note I gave the party more reason to critizie Russell. That's always a positive right???? At least I have someone on my side I think (hey king if the mean wizard tries to harm you I will protect you )

Is it mean to retrieve stolen goods?

Well, he rolled a 4. The sheer distance between him and the kobolds, gave him +16, which became +10 after armor penalty. He needed both kobolds to not roll 7 higher than his roll. They rolled a 14 and 17 respectively.

So in summary;
Russell got a 14 Kobold 1 got a 17 Kobold 2 got a 20
So I didn't screw over the party or I did?

You lost the surprise round. Nothing more.

Since surprise is lost can my druid attempt diplomacy? And did you factor my skill rank and racial bonus when you said I would need a natural 20?

He did. These are hostile Kobolds.
Plus, Diplomacy takes a while in combat, and the round just started.

Since surprise is lost can my druid attempt diplomacy? And did you factor my skill rank and racial bonus when you said I would need a natural 20? Okay, here's a tip. Don't use diplomacy in the middle of combat. Or against people actively trying to kill you. Until your diplomacy gets up into the 20s, it just wastes a turn. If I were to use diplomacy properly, in combat you would need to use the quick diplomacy option which still takes a full round, at a -10 penalty. I let if slide with the wolves so that you didn't die. Not to mention the fact that I'm well aware that diplomacy, intimidate, and bluff are all game breaking, so I've took the liberty of adding circumstance modifiers to the check. For example, in combat, add +2 for every participant to DC, After someone is intimated. Every minute they can try and break free by making another check, and Bluff DCs add +30 on impossible instead of +20, and will have limits. For example, if you murder someone in front of their eyes, and say they did it, it can be impossible, or possible depending on how sound of mind the person is.

Wait, for Bluff, +30 to the already +20 or just +30? I don't think Cheese will be taking enough levels in Bard to get Glibness, so the only way we could break the game is with Potions of Glibness.

No, just +30. +20 is far-fetched such as: you are trapped in an alternate dimension.
"You're actually a yellow-footed rock wallaby," is +40-50. If you beat +50, congratulations. You deserve it.

What would "Help I'm actually a Kobold who was polymorphed into a human so I couldn't rejoin my people" be? I'm guessing +15.
