We'll start continuous, and once we get that working for an adventure, I suggest we try to organize a single session.

Fine with me.
How are we starting?

Have you read the first post? Well, after the second post there will essentially be a roll call, where every player who wants to join either signs up in game, or declines here. 24 hour window. It will probably be up at noon.
Oh, and congratulations on being the first PC to show up in game. I made sure to not describe what you were doing except that you decided to enter the Inn. Erik is the Elf Wizard you are apprenticed to.

Since I am unsure if I will be home from work and I have to get ready soon. Consider me in O's if you want to work around my character somehow (like crusader hanging out in corner) that's fine with me.

When do I show up? You'll need my survival and healing skill sooner rather than later.

So who's playing the music? My character, or Cheese's character, or both or even more?

When can I appear?

Er, right. Before you do anything, how about I set the scene really quick in the next half hour, since for starters, you are in the common room of a reasonably lit inn so the light spell wouldn't be necessary. Unless I'm missing something. Anyway keep your post there. I'll edit my first post instead of making a new one so I can respond properly.

Emperor, you aren't appearing until we head to the western woods. Then you can do whatever you want from messing with us, to actually being helpful. I'll let you know when we enter your territory.
Everyone else, you'll find out where you are next post.

Oh, sorry. It was for dramatic lighting. You know, like a flashlight.

It's okay. I put you in a dark corner of the inn.

Golurk... Why? What answer could you possibly expect to get from it? Kobolds killed my family? The history of the kobold race? Nothing, they're kobolds? Break the fourth wall and say that they are lawful evil?
Because right now, you don't the fact that Kobolds regularly attack elvish and humanoid settlements beyond the wall, killing any gnomes they encounter on sight, due to a blood feud between their respective creator gods makes Anthor look like a moron who was born yesterday (which he technically was born yesterday, but it's not supposed to look like that). I'm not saying that to be mean. Anthor looks like a moron... Or naive. The fact that small groups of kobolds and other monsters from beyond the wall occasionally slip through and terrorize civilized lands, makes them dangerous. That's why there is a wall.
How do I fit any of this into a casual conversation when it is common knowledge? "Hey, don't you remember how they regularly invade our land and raid villages?"
"Or how about that law you know nothing about despite living here for two years?"
You don't? Maybe it's because it is the first page and there hasn't been any exposition yet. You need to trust I'm not going to do anything that will force you into an alignment change without your knowledge. Or if I throw a twist at you, that I will at least establish baseline behavior first.
Kobolds have a strict, brutal tribal structure emphasized by their violent nature. Naturally there are exceptions in every society, but nobody in their right mind would let a zombie walk up to them, because it might just want a hug.
so take your own advice. Before making assumptions about how the world works, how about you learn a little about it first.
Edit: I think I got rid of all of the times I used you instead of anthor.

I was just trying to establish his character as someone who won't immediately blast away. He's open-minded and willing to talk first.

Yes, I understand. It is not a bad question. It's just looks like he wants to talk with someone who will kill him on sight and use his bones for toothpicks, because that's what will happen if you try to have a friendly chat with most kobolds, but you didn't know that it would make most people think you were crazy (or maybe you did). My point is that you don't know everything yet. Or even a sliver of everything. It's the first page and I can't (or won't) catch you up to speed by giving everyone an exposition dump. I might have come off as rude, somewhere in the above paragraph, and probably sarcastic.
You asked the right question, but at the worst time, the very beginning. Observation is the basis of the scientific inquiry, and before one can make light the falsehood of a common assumption, he needs to make an observation that contradicts the assumed normal. I love your question, and your viewpoint, but now is not the time to express it. You need a baseline and a pattern before you can search for discrepancies within it. And even if you are correct, you would still look like a moron to our ranger Malcolm, because he has seen no reason for the normal to not be the truth. You can be a radical who is willing to find good in the hearts of all races and creatures, but that does not mean that people around you won't think you crazy for it. I just want you to be alright with it.
My irritation comes from you asking a question to me I physically cannot answer, nor can I spin to put Anthor in a positive light. At best now, Anthor is Naive

Oh, and everyone is free to answer.
Golurk, I'm going to have your response come after everyone else's for the sake of narrative flow.
24 hour sign up for the adventure. If you decline, let me know. If you accept, answer in character.
