Right... Comic relief character role, or an actual person in the party? Either way, I thought someone had the scout role already?

If you really want to join, you could be a fighter or a warblade. I said to SM that if the party count rises above 6, that I would step out, and I meant it. I can easily make a warblade and level him up for you, and we would need a primary melee damager.
If you just want to be comic relief, I could always use help writing funny characters. I'm not a particularly funny person, and I would be happy to have your help writing the occasional adventure if you wanted.

Whoah there Os, there is no way you're stepping out. I could help with the adventure really. I sorta wanted to narrate things like this.

Let's see, you could essentially be the Navi of the game if Os is okay with it. You're there, but you don't really do anything. Maybe like a non-combat ghost or really pathetic Archon.

What about a really weak pixie, sure they're a monster class, but they do talk, and there's more opportunity for magic based mischief. Plus if you want to get technical you can use the stat page for a standard pixie from the monster page of D20.

An archon is a bird yes? Hrm, I could probably follow you all and pester you too. It's official I'm Archy the Archon, a legacy character...

Do you want to be a psuedodragon? They are small, good at hide checks, are native to temperate forests (the starting environment) can fly, are telepathic, speak common, and are good at hide checks. Great for team pet/mascot/comic relief.

Although... I've been looking into it, and no matter what you choose, you will probably have a difficult time living for very long as the party gets into harder levels. Area of effect spells won't just ignore you. But if Golurk takes a familiar, you could be the familiar he takes.

Os, I was just about to suggest that.
It also means that I won't have to handle my familiar. What bonus do Pseudodragons supply? I was originally going to go for a tiny viper, for the Bluff bonus (at level 30 i'd have an effective Bluff skill of at least 40 due to leveling the skill, familiar bonus, and item bonuses). Imagine what I could do with a Potion of Glibness.

Okay, you can be a pseudodragon, but as soon as golurk is capable, which for our purposes will be the fifth caster level, four levels earlier than usual, you can become his familiar. You will not be joining the first adventure. You need to join during the second at the earliest. You can do what you want from there, but seriously, don't get yourself killed. Your best defense is to run away, and not join us in dungeons.

They are also a pain to hit with +4 natural racial armor on top of familiar natural armor bonus.

Well, having to have that feat screws over my entire pla unless I get it at 15th level or later.
Could he not be a familiar and just sort of b there?
