Sorry Neo didn't even realize there was a contest. Didn't mean to ignore just been busy with the RP'S, the fact that now I want to update like crazy the Mario cyoa (for some reason I have been highly motivated recently to update often in the cyoa whatever the opposite of writers block is I have right now), and just everyday life Besides at least the win went to King even if it was by default. In a completely serouis matter I look forward to your updates in UB and EH. Its just that I been following UB story much longer and at least have a feel for the cast. While in EH just takes a little longer to get a feel for the story.

So, I realized yesterday that certain things didn't fit, and had to completely redo some lore. Remember my post back on page two, about the Kingdoms in EH?
Most of that was wrong. While Valgarde, Grace, Mount Annir, and the Islands haven't changed, their locations have changed, and there are four more continents, all with large human settlements and Kingdoms on them. Canaan is still the largest continent, with the largest human population. The four continents are situated around Canaan, but are quite far away. The closest content to Canaan is still Grace, which is to the Northwest of Canaan, and easily reachable by ship. The Gaal Islands are Northeast of Canaan, while Mount Annir is directly to the west, and the land of the Falcons is west of Grace. Verris Deran, the Ice Continent and home of the Outlander Tribes, is located some ways north of the Gaal Islands. Etruia, the Land of Knights, is located directly west of Mount Annir. Ignias is the second closest continent to Canaan, and is located directly south. Sanna is the far eastern continent, and is the most isolated continent, and the farthest from Canaan.
Now, for the actual lore.
Etruia, the Western Continent: A land of rich plains and giant lakes, it is home to a hardy and honorable people, who value loyalty and duty above all. While there are many small villages and towns in the land, there is only one main city, which is the capitol of Etruia, Greatwind Cliffs. The city is a natural fortress, built upon a high plateau, surrounded by rocky cliffs. It is ruled by Jarl Galon Vredain, and his Council of Six, which is made up of the greatest six warriors in the land. Instead of worshipping all Laguz like the New Order in Canaan, the people of Etruia worship only one Laguz, whom they call the Architect, or the Lake-Builder, and Quake-Starter. According to mythology, the Architect created Etruia's giant lakes during a battle with her Archenemy, and after a hundred year battle, she sealed her enemy away in a distant prison of ice.
Ignias, the Southern Continent: Known as the land of sands, the entire continent is covered in a vast desert. While the land is said to be inhospitable, a small tribe of humans managed to survive there centuries ago, and have since evolved into the Sun Riders, a nomadic people who prefer to keep to themselves. Not much is known about them, as they are very cautious of outsiders, and rarely trade with different lands.
Sanna, the Isolated Land: Located far to the east, past the mythical Sea of Time, Sanna is a legendary land of floating trees and green waters. It is said to be the last bastion on man, teetering on the Edge of the World, and is rumored to be a world without strife or pain, favored by the Dragons and ruled by the Immortal One. No one knows how much of this is true, or if the legendary continent even exists, as none have ever breached the Sea of Time.
Verris Deran, the Land of Ice and Snow: Also known as the Icefields, the continent is home to the Outlanders. The Outlanders are famous for being extremely tall and pale, and their red eyes have often spawned legends of demons, upon the rare occasion one travels beyond the icy shores of Deran. The Outlanders live in tribes, and are proficient hunters and gatherers, and are some of the best rangers in the world. While most Tribes are independent, and governed by a Chief and a Shaman, other larger tribes(Comprised of usually two or more tribes, united under one Chief) are governed by a Khan. These united tribes have a more modern system of government, and live in much larger cities, which are usually fortified.
There are currently only two Khans in the land, the North Khan, Karlan, and the South Khan, Tara.

In the Prelude, you will have the option of visiting Verris Deran, Etruia, and Valgarde only.
In the Main CYOA, you will basically go everywhere.

Yes, this is still a thing. Announcing the reboot of EH. I will be rebooting said CYOA in November. Some things will have changed, and others won't.
New stuff: There will now be two different stories. Kryian's Tale, and Azura's Tale. Both tales will still revolve around the Scarlet Uprising, but there will be more elements from the main CYOA. Both tales show different viewpoints of the Scarlet Uprising. Kryian's Tale will have spoilers for the original topic, technically, and you will start pretty damn OP. So just be aware. Each tale will have different characters, different items, and there will be a Gaiden Chapter in every chapter, starting from Chapter 2. Each story has different Gaiden Chapters, which vary in length, from a single scene, to a full length chapter. The Gaiden Chapters are hidden, obviously, and you'll need to use smarts to unlock them. You may even have to make sacrifices. The Gaiden Chapters may also place you in control of different characters; you will not necessarily control Kryian or Azura. The Gaiden Chapters will expand on the story, and if you complete all of them(for either story), you will be forced to fight the Super Boss after the Final Boss.
The Underground still exists, and still plays a role in both stories, but it no longer influences the ending. Both stories will converge after Part 1 ends and a time skip, so it's a little similar to FE7.
During Azura's Tale, her marriage options will be handled a little differently than normal. She will be able to have supports only up to A rank until after Part 1, where she will have five marriage options to choose from. The event is story based, but the characters will vary, depending on who she has built up affection with, and her current Supports.
In Kryian's Tale, this event will still happen, but you can, as Kryian, influence who she chooses with certain scenes, if your affection with Azura is high enough.
Now, for the CYOA's new main mechanic: The Affection Gauge. Affection rises when characters spend time together, on and off the battlefield, and through certain story choices. Other choices can also decrease affection. Affection is separate from Supports, and will change how supports go. Higher affection also grants better boosts for S Rank pair up.
For example, Kryian x Azura C will be much different if Azura's affection for him is 100. Once affection decreases below 0, it becomes hatred. When two characters hate each other, they will fight poorly together, and act hostile to each other. The negative effects are minimal at first, but if something isn't done, the effects can become disastrous.
For a couple who is S Ranked, if their affection decreases below 0, an option for divorce will become available. This will include a separate 'Support' and scene, and the characters involved can then potentially marry other characters. It is possible to divorce and then marry the same character again, but only once. You can also choose not to get a divorce, and instead work on building your relationship back up.
Affection always starts at 0, and can range from -100 to 100. If the MC reaches -100 with any character, that character will leave the party forever. You can also influence affection with gifts. Gifts are certain special items marked with an asterisk(*). There are two types of gifts: General, and Individual. General Gifts always raise affection by 5. These are things like Donuts and Jewelry. Individual Gifts can still be given to anyone, but if given to the correct person, they can raise affection by as much as 50. These are items like mementos and plot items.
You will now only travel to two other continents besides Canaan as part of the Main Story. Verris Deran, and a second continent, depending on which story you chose. For Azura's Tale, you will visit Mount Annir, home of the Hawk Laguz. For Kryian's Tale, you will visit Grace, home of the Beasts. However, there will be Gaiden Chapters that take you to the other continents, and you can still travel to Valgarde in the post game.
There are also new ways to make money, but I will introduce those at a later time. That's everything.
So, you guys hyped? I am. I know, crazy right? I fully intend to finish EH this time, and I'm excited to get started. Unfortunately, I'm too busy to start the reboot now, and I still have to iron out some kinks. So expect this to happen sometime mid to late November.

Also, just to clarify, as I don't think I was clear enough. In Kryian's Tale, Azura will normally marry the character with whom she has the highest Support level. If she has multiple A ranks, it will be decided by affection.
However, if Azura does not automatically choose Kryian, and her affection for him is over 50, then Kryian can influence what character she chooses. So you the voters can still pick who she marries, but with a RNG chance to be successful. Kryian can also convince her to choose him.

Is my Terra still in EH?
If not.... I could recycle her for my own. Possibly for an interqel I have planned that happens between SoE and Atrian Saga.
Also, the new changes reminds me of SWTOR. I can see you put a lot of thought in this.
Also, I came to announce I've decide to waifu Azura. If you have objections, I'll destroy all contenders.

Just a slight correction. You will still visit Mount Annir in Kryian's Tale, and Grace in Azura's Tale, but only briefly.
I may be starting this sooner than originally planned. I'll know more tomorrow.

I'll know more tomorrow. If you start it tomorrow, I'll give you free village women to eat! If you don't want that offer, dragon friend, then.... *Slowly reveals Vaflame* We can always have other options...

I can't start it tomorrow. I have other priorities. At the very least, it won't be until after November 3rd. Sorry.
Also, you know Valflame couldn't harm me.

It is a very damaging wind weapon? It would, er, rip your wings? And take your time, my eagerness can wait some more. On topic, is there a jealousy system like GotHW?

There is the Hatred side of Affection, but that's it. I don't want to overload the story with mechanics.
