I've noticed some of the posters have different colored texts and different sized fonts. I was wondering how those are achieved. Also on that note how does one do each of the varying emoticons?

Instead of using the Quick Reply option at the bottom of the page, click on the blue reply button in the top right corner. This will bring you to the Full Reply window, which will have all the available fonts in a toolbar above your post. However, you only find the Smiley emoticon in that window. Alternatively, you can type out the emoticons by hand. Some examples are as follows: A colin and a upwards parentheses sign will create a smiley face. So, :k) but without the k in the middle. Now, to read this legend, simply leave out the k. :k( = ;k) = >:k( = Sorry, I don't have all of them memorized, and my internet is bugging out right now.

I always post from my phone, so no. That isn't why. If you click the blue reply option, you should see a Font Face and Font Size option, and a little multicolored sphere next to them. Clicking on that will allow you to use colored font.

Neo, i think that you're forgetting that you always use it in Desktop mode like me.
Before you do any of that, click the Desktop button at the bottom of the page and watc the magic unfold. The Particilated Threads button is a godsend
