Mewtwo, K. Rool, Dixie, and Chorus Men/Kids, and others are trophies.That's like, all of the "possible DLC newcomer" fan favorites being referenced. Except Ridley, but since he's all but confirmed to be a Stage Boss, he most definitely has a trophy somewhere even if it's a Wii U exclusive. No doubt about it. And Isaac, which I'm still salty about. I don't think trophy =/= never DLC though, since that would mean that only someone with zero representation has a shot.

The point is that it eliminates a LOT of possibilities, leaving less "mainstream" franchises (since chances are the favorites from stuff like Zelda or Kirby will get trophies) and some Pokemon as the only candidates remaining. Aside from Snake, since the reasons around his case is obvious. |

Of all of the DLC characters people are discussing, the only ones that I can actually see getting in are Ice Climbers (or just about anyone from Brawl that isn't Pokemon Trainer) and Mewtwo.
I'm not going to diss on the Chorus Men though, since I know too little about Rhythm Heaven. Same thing happened with Shulk...

I wonder why they never gave Golden Sun any love in the form of a playable character. Its one of the better RPGs from Nintendo.
