Though, how good at combat Celice really is, is unknown. taking out pirates is one thing, but reptiles? Tough scales.

Chapter 1: Outbreak of war
"I'm heading for Rhime." You say, the image of a huge city comes to your mind. You don't know where Rhime is however, as you soon come to realize that. Astrid nods with you, a smile on her face.
"Amusing that you're an amnesiac, but remember the names of places. I take it you don't know where it is?" She asks in an authoritative tone. She has obviously been on the field before. You nod slowly, picking up a iron sword from a lizard man's corpse. "I'm afraid not." You continue, taking the sheathe from the same lizard man. Astrid kneels, and picks up a bag. She opens it, revealing small yellow coins. "200 gold." She murmurs, handing it to you. A brief look, and it seems to have dropped from one of the beasts.
"Thanks." You answer with a brief smile. The dame walks in front of you, a frown on her face. "I'm afraid that I'll have to make a stop to Almorica, sir Celice."
She she seems to wait on your response. You rub the sleeves of your jacket, contemplating. --------
How do you respond?
A. Agree to accompany her to Almorica. Safety in numbers is best.
B. Tell her you are in a hurry. The two of you will go separate ways.
C. Ask her for information regarding Rhime. You don't want to walk into a battlefield.

"I'll follow after you, Astrid." You say, waiting for her to lead the way. You don't have to wait long, as Astrid quickly takes the lead, walking west. You try to sort out the recent events, especially with that Sibyl finding you. --- Astrid has joined the party!
Astrid, Lvl 2 Valkyrie, EXP: 30, spear rank: 1, MP:20
Str:10 Vit: 12 Dex:6 Agl:7 Avd:3 Int:4 Mnd:2 Res:8 --------
The trek to Almorica is brief, yet long. You pass a small that seems to gleam brightly in the sunlight. Astrid is surprisingly quiet through the journey. You'd expect her to interrogate you, or something. You don't mind the silence, but it a tad bit boring.
"You have the look of a man who has just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar."she suddenly says. You hide your surprise with a calm mask. "I suppose I am. I ran away from a Sibyl." You confess. The sound of a snort, then chortle reaches your ears.
"What have you done? act like an Ogre to her? Astrid sobers. You don't respond, as you don't know what an Ogre is. "I'm afraid I'm missing your point, dame." You reply with furrowed eyebrows. Astrid glances over her shoulder at you. Seriousness written over her face.
"I see you are exactly what you say you are."
You can't tell if she really thinks you are an ogre, or not. "I..." You are about to say before Astrid raises her hand. You look up to see a castle made of the finest stone. It is in the distance. Between you and it, is a wide grassy plateau strewn with small lakes across it.
"Beautiful" you say to yourself with slight awe. Astrid nods with a small smile. She leads you inside the castle where you pass knights, wizards, and enchantresses. Eventually, Astrid stop at a oak door. "Please wait." She orders, stepping in. -----
What do you do?
A. Obey her orders
B. Explore briefly, and return before she steps out.
C. Ask any nearby people for information regarding Valeria. You need to know as much as you can.

An enchantress passes you, and you quickly call out, "Excuse me, but do you know the current happenings of Valeria?" The woman turns around, raising her blonde eyebrow with confusion. "Yes, the Bakram have found some sort of report dating back one thousand years ago. They say it contains the true events of something. Duke Hemingway way is currently in a meeting with outsiders about it." She says, before walking off.
Satisfied, you turn around to the door, wondering what type of report it is. You don't really know much about Valeria now that you come to think of it. You remove the bloodstained wrappings from your head. To your surprise no wound is there. Your head feels funny though. You can't quite place your finger on it though. Astrid isn't the first to leave the room, but some sort of tan muscular man does. You gawk at the wings on his back. They are black, but a feathery as a birds.
The weird man is dressed in blue medium armor. His hair is an unnatural shade of blue, yet wild. "Eh? What are you staring at?" He booms.
"Your wings." You answer. You muster up the courage to look him in the face. He seems like an experienced fighter. On his back is a large iron axe. On his left hip is a short bow that looks worn. The man checks himself over.
"Never seen a Vartan I take it, or as you humans call it, winged. I'm Arnaeus by the way." He gives you a wolfish grin.
"Celice." You manage to return his grin. Astrid suddenly appears behind Arnaeus, flustered.
"Please step in." She tells you, eyeing Arnaeus angrily. You quirk an eyebrow. What did the Vartan do to her you think. You do as she says though, entering a room for for a king. To your awe sits a silver haired man with grey eyes. His robes are regal and equally grey. "Greetings, Celice. I hear you were wondering the plateau." He greets with a curt smile.
You can tell he is quite young, almost your age perhaps. If you knew how old you were that is.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, my liege." You kneel. You don't want to upset a man on power.
"Please rise." Hemingway waves nonchalantly. Immediately you obey.
"I hear you wanted to join the Almorican knights." He continues.
You stare owlishly. You didn't recall saying that. You assume Astrid added that in to remove suspicion from the duke. ----
How do you respond?
A. "Of course, I'm here to fight for my people."
B. "I'm not one for fighting, but if I must..."
C. "I'm not here for knighthood, my liege." ----
Depending on your response, the storyline changes yet again.

You barely have any memories, yet this man is asking for you to fight for him. He is dead serious by the look in his eye. "I don't really enjoy fighting, but if I have to..."you frown slightly. Hemingway claps his hands with glee. "Good, you will work your way up from the ranks." He smiled slightly. You nod absent mindedly, not really on to his words or enthusiasm.
After the meeting you meet up with Astrid and Arnaeus. "You're a little young to be fighting on a battlefield, eh?" Arnaeus teases. You ignore his little jest, and turn to face the only woman in your group.
"If you're wondering, you will be serving under me." Astrid clarifies simply. Well at least you are working with someone familar. Before you can leave, Astrid hands you a bag of gold. "3,000 from the treasury, dukes gift." She says.
"Thanks." You reply. Astrid brushes past you, disappearing around the corner. "Ha, cold one that. Watch out, she might like you!" Arnaeus grins. You scowl at his jokes. He might e one of the more problematic knights.
"Please stop, Arnaeus." You sigh. You turn to leave yourself when he places a hand on your shoulder. Arnaeus begins to walk with you, patting you on the back.
"I might as well show you the shop here. Newbies must be filled in." He snickers. You give another drawn out sigh. Perhaps you shouldn't have left Golyat. A part of Your mind feels guilty. ----- What do you do?
A. Visit the shop. You want to buy some food or something.
B. Ask the duke to search for Cariah. You really want to apologize.
C. Make an excuse and visit the courtyard for training. You need to keep sharp

Okay, so I figured out a new way to break two way ties. Roll an RNG. If it is a number above 50 top option wins. A number below? 2nd wins.
Obviously this won't work for four ways unless you split it up. I'm gonna roll it later and pick either A or B depending on what I said above.

Congrats yellow, C won ---- You manage to get yourself away from Arnaeus's vice like grip on your shoulder. "I'm quite busy right now for shopping." You tell him. He frowns for a moment, but nods. "If you say so, feel free to drop by for some pointers." He waves, disappearing down some nearby stairs. You are alone in the hallway for now with only a few people actually out.
You wander around the castle until you find a train in room, or barracks. You decide it can't be that hard to learn swordsmanship. You begin with a few practice swings. You quickly lose track of time. The sound of clapping can be heard, and you turn to see Aurthur as the culprit.
"Very good form, very little openings. If I didn't know better, is say you were no amnesiac." He says calmly. You are surprised by such praise, ten realize he is right. All your movements are by instinct. "I'm confused myself." You say carefully. This man sets off warning bells in your head. The knight gives a slow nod inclined in your direction.
"You are exceptionally well at swordplay, almost rivaling me. In time I have no doubt you will surpass me." You aren't entirely sure where he is coming from. You lower the iron sword until it is pointed at the ground. "You should do some other things in your free time, socialize." Aurthur urges. He turns and steps out of the door.
That was certainly an awkward moment. ------
Celice gained rank 1 in swords! ------
What do you do now?
A. Check the shop like Astrid said.
B. Explore the castles exterior. (Random item may appear.)
C. Retire for sleep.
D. Train some more.

Well, the RNG liked you this time around X ------- Putting off the task Astrid assigned you sounds to be an unwise course of action. After a brief wall down a flight of stairs, you are introduced to a shop on your left. You enter hesitantly, taking a look around. The walls are practically littered with armor and weapons, along with a few healing and mana potions.
The shopkeeper looks up, her red eyes flashing with interest. She's a redhead you note, wearing traditional shopkeeper clothing. "Oh, never seen you around. Names Sarah, come take a look at the wares." She says excitedly.
"I am a bit new, but if you insist, I'll do as you say." You reply, taking a look around. You see iron axes, grimoires, and even a lobber. After browsing you make your decision. ----
What do you buy?
A. A buckler for 600 Oberyth, two mending leaves for 50 Oberyth, and the lobber for 1000 Oberyth.
B. An iron axe for 200 Oberyth, a leg guard for 100, and gloves for 200.
C. A whip for 800 Oberyth, one mending lead for 25 Oberyth, and 15 stones for 15 Oberyth. ------
Before you say "why do we need stones?" You'll see just how important they are soon.. Also, sorry for not updating last night. Multitasking and tiredness are my excuse.

Ah almost forgot to add that Hemingway added 3,200 Oberyth for you as a bonus. Or did I? Foggy memory due to lack of sleep.
