So just typed up the first part and you will meet your first important NPC. Fletching. Before you think I am going all Pokémon and just start throwing around random Pokémon.
I actually plan on having her involved in the plot and outside of combat. Outside of combat if you have things you want to sell, store, buy, or money you want to deposit give it to to Fletching. She can only do one task at a time and she will be gone for one section.

"Let's go to the park district," Luigi responded as Mario, Rosa, and the two young goombas agreed with the plan. "Maybe I will finally, get a chance to meet Robin and see if this Ann he is referring to is the same as Anna," Rosalina thought to her self. The group arrived at the park area where they saw a bunch of people mostly Toads enjoying the late afternoon weather. "We are here but where's Robin?" Rosa asked. "I guess we can ask every single toad if they noticed anybody unusual," Luigi said while shrugging his shoulders. "We can start at the fountain," Mario suggested. "Are we going to be okay here?" Gommbario and Goombella asked. "Yeah as most people know toads aren't exactly found of Goombas," Goombella said. "Don't worry little one these toads will be fine besides your friends of Mario," Rosa told the young Goombas in a sweet voice. "Last I checked any friends of Mario is a friend to the toads," Rosa said in a soothing voice as Mario agreed. "Besides I am pretty sure if you were loyal to Bowser, Mario would have never allowed you to travel with him in the first place," Rosa reassured the goombas. "You are so sweet," Goombella told Rosa. "You seem so kind, sweet, and almost motherly," Gommbario said in response. "If only you knew how many children I deal with everyday little ones," Rosalina thought to herself.
After Rosa's sweet speech and Mario's suggestion the group headed towards the fountain where they saw a youth in the distance who looked unfamiliar. The youth was average height for a person, had messy blonde hair, was wearing what appeared to be a black and purple cape, and blackish armor underneath. The youth was just gazing towards the sky while lying in on edges of the park with a weird looking red and gray bird (Fletching don't worry actually have a plan for her) was sitting on his shoulder. "There's something you don't see everyday," Rosa said. "I guess we can start with him," Luigi suggested as the group decided to make there way to the youth.
"Hey there little one I still can't figurde out why you are so drawn to me," the youth said. "What is that some people are approaching you say?" the youth asked his friend."Let me guess you want to go talk to them friend" the youth said as the bird chirped in agreement. "If you are worried about their intentions its okay," the youth told his friend. "Don't know or remember how but I can sense pureness coming from them," the youth told his friend as it flew off to Mario and his friends.
The bird landed on Gommbella's helmet while staring at Mario's group. "My what a strange little bird," Goombella said while the bird landed on her helmet. "Hello are you Robin?" Rosa asked. "Fletch Fletching," the little bird said. "That's a strange name for a person," Gommbario said to the Fletching. "Sorry about that despite masters attempt to teach me your language sometimes my native language still comes through," Fletching said as the group just stood there dumb founded.
"Are you going to stand there all day like statues or are you going to Fletching... I mean follow me?" Fletching asked the group. "Let me guess you want Fletch.... to meet Robin right?" Fletching asked the group as the group continued to stare at the Fletching in disbelief. |

Why am I so surprised at this point? Rosalina thought to herself. "Fletch Fletch lady are you there?" Fletching asked Rosa. "Yeah sorry about that ms," Rosa said to Fletching before she was interrupted. "Oh yeah I never told you my name is Fletching... no it's Flan nice to meet and who is everybody," Flan asked. "Well this is Mario, that's Luigi, these two goombas are Gommbario and the person who's hat you are is Goombella, and as for myself my name is Rosa," Rosa told Flan. "Nice to Fletching I mean meet everyone," Fran said. "Follow me I will lead you to Robin," Flan said as she flew to Robin. (From now on Goombella and Gommbario will be Bella and Bario too avoid having to type out the entire names)
"So what do you think this Robin person is like?" Bella asked. "I don't know never seen anyone with a talking pet bird," Bario said. "Hmmm," Luigi said. "I think I might have heard about him," Luigi said much to the shock of everybody. "Well me and some of the boys from Smash were hanging out the other day when Falcon mentioned something about him," Luigi said. "Captain Falcon was telling me how be was about to deliver his devastating punch until a strange youth who could use wind magic interrupted him," Luigi said. "Since when did Luigi have friends?" Bella joked while Luigi just sighed. After that brief exchange between Mario's group they were right next to the youth called Robin.
Robin was about to introduce himself when he saw Rosa and the first word he blurted out was, "Ann". " Haha knew it you were .... Ann what's an Ann?" Luigi asked while a little embarrassed. "So sorry about this Ms, I thought for a moment you were an old friend I knew," Robin said in a quiet voice. "So my hunch was right he does know about Anna," Rosalina thought to herself. "Hello Robin is it my name is Rosa, Nice to meet you," Rosa told Robin. "My name is Luigi, this is my older brother Mario, and these two are his friends Bella and Bario," Luigi said while introducing everyone. "Mr. Robin is it what can you tell us about Flan?" Bario asked. "That's simple Bario one day I was hanging around the park area when Fran kind of just found me," Robin said. While everyone in Mario's group was chatting with Robin, Rosa could only think of what does he know about Anna. "Oh yeah here's a letter for from Merlin," Mario told Robin while handing him a letter. "That kind old man who took care of me wonder what he could had wrote," Robin said while opening the letter.
"Dear Robin," "If you are reading this then you are probably getting ready to take off on your journey to find Chrom, Lissa, and this Ann lady," Merlin wrote. "If you meet Mario I strongly advise you travel with him,". "When it comes to finding people or helping those in needs their is no body better then Mario,". "Also when you meet Mario there should be a young lady with him who should remind you of this Ann lady you kept on mentioning,". " How do I know all this lucky guess.... I mean I am a wizard and I foresaw all of this happening,". Just know you always have a home here at my hut and if you ever need anything just ask son,". Sincerely, Merlin.
"So Mario is it?" Robin asked. "I might not remember much of anything but I will try to help you as much as I can," Robin told Mario. "Why Mr. Robin?" Bella asked. "Well when Merlin found me I was knocked out, and when I finally woke up the only thing I could remember was my name," Robin told Bella.
"Well I am sure we can talk to Robin some more but its getting late and I for one would like to found someplace to rest," Rosa told the group while everyone nodded in agreement. "Wells there's a tavern we can say stay at for the night," Luigi said to everyone. "Let's a go," Mario said as the group made their way to Toad's Tavern.
Oh yeah almost forgot to add Robin and Flan joined your party.

So got the first half of the tavern scene typed up just have to proofread it. Expect a cameo appearance in those scenes and in the second half of the tavern scene expect a spoiler.

It was getting dark outside as Mario and friends approached Toad's Tavern. As the group entered they could see all sorts of people sitting around and having a good time. "Hey Mario who are you with," the bartender asked. "Let's a see," Mario responded. "Well there's me Luigi, that's Bella and Bario, this is Rosa who is certainly and defiantly not Peach or Ann," Luigi said while pointing out everyone in the group. "Ah you must be that young lad Robin who was staying with Merlin," the bar tender Tory said. "Yes I was staying with Merlin, until I met Mario," Robin told Tory. "Mario has agreed to let me follow him and his group of friends," Robin said. "That's good to hear young man you will find nobody with more capable hands then Mario," Tory told Robin. "Well see you around Mario, Robin and everybody else," Tory said as she went to greet other people "While where here let's show you the different facilities here," Luigi said to the group as everyone nodded in agreement.
Request Board
"First we have a board over here which people will use to post different requests," Luigi said. "So if I guess if anybody needs help or something they would put it up here?" Bario said. Mario nodded his yes to the response and pointed out a little note on the board. "Ah so it looks like each mission has it's own ranking going from 0 stars which means simple to five stars which is insane," Rosa said reading it a loud. "Hey there is something here which mentions grand star level quests for those seeking an extra challenge but for great rewards," Bella mentioned. "It couldn't hurt to check out this board before we leave Toad Town," Robin suggested while everybody agreed with his idea.
"Let's go check out that place over there," Bario said pointing out to the bank area. As the group took Bario's advice and went over to the bank.

"Here we are," Mario said to his group of friends while pointing to the teller. "Hello Mario welcome to Toad Bank where your coins are always safe in our state of the art vault," the bank teller Tank said. "Why would we need to store our coins?" Luigi asked. "Well if misfortune should ever befall your entire group in battle, you can kiss half of your coins goodbye," Tank responded. "Yet when you use Toad's Bank we keep your coins safe and we don't charge a fee or anything," Tank told everyone. "The only catch is the vault will only allow you to deposit in units of hundreds or greater," Tank said with a slight sigh. "Right now our vault is currently down for some last minute maintenance so just stop by in the morning and we will be happy to serve you," Tank told everyone before she went to do some last minute cleaning. "Well is there anything else of note?" Rosa asked. Mario was about to respond when a couple of familiar figures approached Mario.
"Is that beefiness I smell brother?" The person wearing green asked. "Why yes its that beefy fellow Mario and his slightly less beefy brother Luigi," the person wearing Red said. Upon hearing the word beef and there names being called Mario and Luigi looked around the tavern to see the one and only Mastiff brothers. "What brings you two here don't you have a tour to run?" Luigi asked the Mastiff Brothers. "Why is your question so low in beef Luigi?" Little Mastiff said as he gave Luigi a hand shake definitely not lacking beef. "Is that the first thing you ask your fellow brothers in beef?" Big Mastiff asked Luigi. "Well we had some free time (now that Mario rescued the people of Pil'los Islands they don't need beefy tour guides) and decided we would set up shop here is this beefless section of town.
"So what's all this talk about beef and stuff ?" Rosa asked Mario. "Why if it isn't the lovely princess Peach its an honor to see you again," Big Mastiff said to Rosa. "Sigh its Rosa not Peach but at least you two seem polite enough," Rosa said in response. Mario and Luigi went ahead to introduce the group to their two fellow brethren in beef the Mastiff brothers. As the group were being introduced to the mastiff brothers they followed them to there dojo they set up in town.
Mastiff's Dojo
"Ah so I see when Mario was visiting your island he helped you guys out," Bella said to the mastiff brothers. "Well that's Mario for you always helping out those in need," Bario said. "Ah which reminds me why me and our brother are here," Big Mastiff said. "For a small price you can accept the challenge of people from around the world looking to challenge your strength,courage, and beef," Little Mastiff said. "If you can show them just how much beefier you are, surely they would want to join you," Big Mastiff said. "The only thing beefy brothers is we are still making last minute adjustments but no worries everything will be all ready and ready to go tomorrow," the Mastiff brothers told everyone. "So see you in the morning and who knows maybe everyone will get a chance to show off how beefy you are tommrrow," the Mastiff brothers said while flexing there muscles.
"Well that was different," Rosa said as the group made there way over to the final section of the tavern.

Will have the rest of the scenes up tomorrow, including that spoiler I was talking about (F.Y. I. the Mastiff brothers from M/L Dream Team were the cameo appearance) along with a camp scene which will include an updated stat screen for everyone in your party. Also some support choices (so those looking for Rosalina x Luigi you will have a chance to vote on that tomorrow), choices related to whether or not to use the bank and what secret character you wish to challenge first? (First challenge will be free but everyone after that will be 100 coins. Hey being beefy doesn't come cheap  . ) Well that's all I can think of for now. |

After that interesting display of beefiness the group let out a collective yawn. "Well I guess where the final part of our tour is?" Robin said sheepishly. Mario and his friends agreed with Robin's suggestion as they made there way to the innkeeper. Inn "Hello welcome to the Toad's Inn where comfy beds and the best room service you will ever have is just a few feet away," the innkeeper named Tina said. "Usually for rooms of this quality would cost you a fortune (20 coins) but you are in luck since we just had four rooms available for free today," Tina said. "Hope you enjoy your stay Mario and everyone," Tina said as she handed out the room keys. "Well today's certainly been fun but something tells us we are going to need all the energy we can get," Bella and Bario said entering there rooms. "Well everyone I look forward to our travels together and maybe I will find some clues about who I am and her," Robin said to everyone before heading into his room with Flan. "Well guys I can't wait until tomorrow see you in the morning," Rosa said as she went into her room. "Well brother ready to go to bed?" Luigi asked as Mario nodded yes. "Good night Mario," Luigi said as Mario responded in kind as everyone began to fall asleep. Well with the exception of Rosa and Robin who were having a hard time going to sleep. "Phew, I can finally let my hair down and to get back into my original gown," Rosalina said as a soft light enveloped her returning her to her usual appearance. "I wonder how my children are doing?" Rosalina asked herself. "Especially, prince Luma he's always been so attached to me," Rosalina said when a familiar bird landed on her window sill. "So how many children do you have Ms?" Flan asked. "How long how have you been there?" Rosalina asked in a soft tone. "Long enough but at least I can see why Robin thought you were my sister Anna," Flan said. "Wait so you are really?" Rosalina asked Flan before Flan interrupted her. "Yes I am Anna's younger sister," Flan replied as the two began to talk. (Told you I had a plan for Fletching ) |

So probably wouldn't have the conclusion up til tommrow. Working on finishing the stats right now. It makes it so much easier to keep track of things having a spreadsheet on my tablet.
For now I will ask this question which will close at the same time as the other polls. Who shall be your first opponent to challenge your beef in the Mastiff dojo?
(You will get a chance to challenge everyone eventually, but for now you are choosing who you want to face and if you beat the secret recruit will join you first)
A.) The prince of a neighboring kingdom who is looking for a refined challenge. The gentlemen? is know to travel on a flying pea like device.
B.) An old friend of Mario who's visiting the area. His home is in the jungles and he lives there with his family
C.) A blue haired youth who's looking to join with someone who can best him in combat. He is a prince/ king of a kingdom that's in an entirely different universe.
D.) Waluigi I guess? But do you really want to waste a free challenge on him. You can but the others sound so tempting and this is Waluigi.

Don't worry about how strong they will be. I would never post a choice or an option if I thought the fight was unwinnable. (Its the reason why I haven't posted the chance to fight the super boss right now that person would defeat your group easily even towards the end of the cyoa)
I will tally the stats to the encounter based on how hard I want the encounter to be. Basically, expect this fight to be harder then the first boss and almost as tough as the chapter boss coming soon. Like every mini-boss encounter there will be a move that could really hurt but that's if the RNG really hates you guys. Also before the encounter I will post the same decisions like I did for the Goombamesh battle. In terms of healing I will leave that up to you guys. In terms of reviving I will take care of it.
Another thing is I finally got around to revamping the pair up stats. So instead of just the usual it protects members and speeding up supports now there is an added bonus to certain stats.
Third instead of the usual penalties for your entire group fainting the consequences are less severe. You don't lose half your coins just the entrance fee. Second your characters are revived with at least 1 HP. Finally, there will be a camp scene coming soon where you can use stats boasters and/ or teach magic to your characters.
There is plenty of time to change your mind and hopefully this helps settle some of your hesitation you had about challenging your first opponent. Everyone is the same difficulty wise. There's different stats and moves but one person is not easier or harder then the other. The scale to borrow the ranking system from the request board it would be 2 stars not difficult at all but just slightly harder then Goombamesh.
As long as you make good choices and the RNG doesn't start hating you should be fine.

Also I did post in response to peoples concern about the secret recruit hopefully this time you can vote for who you want to fight and recruit and not just who you think you have the best chance of defeating. Just as a reminder everyone is of eaqual difficulty.

I am her younger sister and in case you are wondering we are probably about a couple years apart give or Fletching, " Flan said. "I like you Ms. Rosalina you remind me of sis before that vile Fletching began to betray us," Flan said. "What you mean betrayed I just thought she was ...," Rosalina said before Flan interjected. "I thought you of all people would understand Ms. Rosalina seeing how your a fellow goddess," Flan sighed dishearten. "Flan I never meant it like that you see every now and then I get a message from the stars and they never mentioned her kinder, gentler side," Rosalina told Flan in a soothing voice. "That's okay Ms. Rosalina we are from a different place all together so it's not like you could have known before everything happened," Flan told Rosalina in a more upbeat manner. "Tell you what Flan how bout me and you talk about your sister Anna just the two us once in a while," Rosalina told Flan. "I would love that very much," Flan said very excited. "One thing you see Robin has hard time with his memory ever since he arrived here, so if you could please keep my identity a secret please," Flan pleaded with Rosalina. "I promise little one and for now I need you to keep my identity a secret for now okay," Rosalina told Flan in a sweet voice while Flan chirped in agreement. "Before the two could talk any more a knock at Rosalina's door interrupted them.
"Don't you have to change Ms.?" Flan asked. "Its fine Flan like you said both of you are from a different world so everything will be fine okay little one," Rosalina said. "Ok Ms. have a good night," Flan said as Robin was knocking from the other side "Hello Rosa is it's me Robin, I just want to apologize about calling you Ann today," Robin asked. "I will be out in a moment, good night Flan talk to you soon okay," Rosalina replied. Just then Rosalina walked out in her true form and Robin was a little surprised. "Are you Rosa?" Robin asked. "Let's go for a little walk shall we," Rosalina told Robin in a soothing voice. "Okay...," Robin said a little confused. "Master what are you doing up?" Flan chided as she flew into Robins room. "Did my friend bother you?" Robin asked. "This sweet little thing she was very pleasant and I look forward to talking to her in the future," Rosalina told Robin. While everyone else was fast asleep Rosalina and Robin took a stroll by the fountain.
"So your real name is Rosalina and you are a guardian in this world," Robin asked Rosalina while she nodded yes. "This explains why I thought you were Ann," Robin said. "What do you know about Ann?" Rosalina asked. "Unfortunately, the only thing I remember is her name ever since Merlin found me my mind has been blank about everything else," Robin sighed. "Yet, you remember her name which is a start," Rosalina told Robin in a comforting matter. "Ms. Rosalina is it that's another reason I thought you were her," Robin said. "Your aura both you and her give off your both so kind and sweet, but fierce, with a strong motherly side too," Robin said. "Thank you for the complement Robin and see you remembered something else about Ann," Rosalina said to Robin. "Your right Rosalina, if its not too much to ask would you mind if we talked every once in a while," Robin asked. "Yeah we can Robin," Rosalina told Robin as they made there way back to the inn. "Make sure you and Flan rest up tomorrow is going to be a busy day we have some important people to meet tomorrow," Rosalina told Robin as she entered her room. "Funny she almost sounds like a mother telling her kid good night," Robin said as he went to his room. Morning came soon after with everyone up and ready for the what today would bring
"Woohoo," Mario said as everyone gathered into the lobby area. "Is there anything we should do before we leave brother?" Luigi asked. "Well," Mario said we should...
