With smaller enemies, it's definitely wise for us to begin pairing up. We can take the both of them now! Ain't no Mario scared of Jr. Troopa!
Bowser Jr. First though; he's likely an easier target since he was mist blown up and all. Kick him while he's down!

Sniff Sniff Sniff my readers and voters didn't abadon mean. My chortles can rejoice in getting the battle started. Expect the battle really soon either over the weekend or sometime Monday. Since I got work, OZ and whatever else car wise got to take care of. Thank you for not letting this die.
Also Yellow hope everything is ok the verse isn't the same since you haven't been around. Hopefully its nothing too serouis going on and if it is just know we are here for you.

Sorry I haven't got to the battle yet. Either been working, trying to get caught up on other projects, or battling bronchitis and back pain. I am feeling better and I am almost caught up on OZ just need to write Bowser's intro. If you love Bowser and his crazy antics here. Just imagine what he will be like when he's face to face w/ some of the greatest hero's and villains from the verse. And you thought he was stubborn, bull headed, and full of himself here  . Expect the battle at least started tommrrow. Again thank you to everyone who's voted and read the cyoa it means a lot to me. And if there is anybody lurking out there come ahead and join. As cloud, Fennekin, and yellow will tell you this cyoa belongs as much to you the voters as much as it belongs to me. I am not afraid to make changes and in fact some of the plot and story changes were suggestions and ideas were from the voters. So thank you for your patience and expect the 2nd part of the chapter boss started tommrrow. |

So thank you everyone for having patience. Sorry, I took so long to update. Its just been one hell of a wee but alas I got the battle done and here is pt.1 of the Jr. Troopa battle. "Yeah, he was local bully, who hated when people entered 'his' playground," Bario said. "But its true you and that dirty trespasser entered my area without my permission," Jr Troopa told Bario. "But it was to find my grandfather," Bario responded. "Ah whatever let's settle this once and for all," Jr Troopa said taking an offensive stance. Mario began his turn by throwing out a Tanooki Leaf to the party. "This again I think the tail is cute and soft but I could do without the ears," Rosa said musing to herself while casting a blizzard spell towards Bowser Jr. "I hate these ears and tails, that fat one is going to pay," Ashley growled. "Sweetie its okay I think it is cute that you and Robin have a matching set of ears and tails," Rosa said very sweet towards Ashley. "You think so, in that case I think I will take it out on him," Ashley said unleashing a dark spell towards Jr Troopa. "Ready?" Bario asked Bella as the two began studying their foe. "Bullies, I can't stand bullies like you Mario," Jr Troopa said. "Take this," Jr Troopa said tackling Rosa. "Not bad," Bowser Jr said attempting to attack Mario. Yet due to the mystic power of the Tanooki leaf Mario was able to reflect Bowser's Jr attack right back at him. "Ouch stupid tail," Bowser Jr sneered toward Mario "Look what I have still have here," Jr Troopa said taking out a wand. "Really you know how to use one of those things?" Bowser Jr asked kinda of impressed. "Yeah I kinda of just picked one up, watch let me show you," Jr Troopa said unleashing a spell towards Rosa. When, the spell connected with Rosa, it created an explosion. After the dust began to settle something seemed off about Rosa here skin was hard and gray and she was frozen in place. "Wow didn't know I could do that Jr Troopa said slightly surprised. " Rosa," Mario said kinda of freaking out when he saw the Rosa statue. "Hey Mario look what I have here," Bario said making his way over with some remedy. Mario took the remedy and applied it to the Rosa statue, which began to break the petrification on Rosa. "Thank you Mario and Bario," Rosa said as the petrification began to wear off. A certain little girl was wiping tears from her eyes as she had a mushroom in her hand. "Ah that's so sweet you were worried," Rosa said placing Ashley in a hug. "Yeah yeah yeah, geez no need to be so emotional gawds," Ashley said with a slight smile. In the mean time Mario unleashed a fire spell towards Bowser Jr. While Robin followed up with a sword strike of his own on Bowser Jr. |

So just got done typing upn the final part of the Jr Troopa encounter. Too tired to profread now but will have it up tomorrow.
Also while I am here let me just mention it b/c we are close but this is how the end of chapter phase will flow;
Post battle dialogue ----> End of Chapter music and recap ---> Flan and Rosalina talking about Flannas past. ----> Fawful dialogue----> POV Bowser----> Camp Screen----> Any shopping or recruiting you want to do before we leave Toad Town ----> Beginning of next chapter. Expect all of this I'm the up coming week

"Think your so big bad and tough Mario," Jr Troopa said as he tackled Robin. "Now I hide," Jr Troopa said hiding in his shell. "Hey you lazy lay about come here and make yourself useful," Bowser Jr. called out as five Goombas showed up. "Sigh I guess its something," Bowser Jr said slightly disappointed.
While Jr. Troopa was hiding in his shell, a barrage of attacks headed towards Bowser Jr. First Mario unleashed one of his signature fireballs towards Bowser Jr, and Robin followed up with a strike. Then Rosa and Ashley unleashed consecutive Beam and Dark spells respectively towards Bowser Jr. Finally, Bella handed Robin a mushroom to heal Robins wound, and Bario ended up following with a headhunt of his own on Bowser Jr. Jr. Troopa emerged from his protective shell just to hide right back into his shell. While Bowser Jr and the goombas he summoned attacked Robin
Bowser Jr was breathing pretty heavy and the group decided to direct one final barrage his way. First Mario dunned his hammerhead suit and tossed hammers towards Bowser Jr. Robin quickly followed with a strike of his own. Rosa and Ashley quickly unleashed consecutive blasts of Beam and Dark towards Bower Jr. Finally, Bario unleashed a cool breath attack towards the enemy. Jr Troopa was fine because his shell took most of the blow. Yet Bowser Jr wasn't as lucky as the cool breath was enough to make him and his minions faint.
"You bullies will pay for that," Jr Troopa called out as he unleashed consecutive blasts towards Robin. The first blast from Troopa's wand caused some damage but the second blast connected wand turned Robin into stone. "You little Fletching I will take great pleasure for what you did to Robbie," Ashley said as her voice sounded like it had a mixture of hatred and sorrow. "Here Ashley used this on him, it worked on me, which means it should work on him," Rosa said handing Ashley the Remedy. Ashley applied the remedy to Robin as the petrification lifted and Robin returned to normal. "Robbie, please don't ever scare me like that again, or else or else," Ashley said weeping into Robin's arm.
"Its okay look I am fully healed besides he have someone to deal with still," Robin told Ashley while glaring towards Jr Troopa. "Here take this," Bella told Robin as she handed him a shroom. "Umm this is going to hurt but as long as there is fight still left I will show you bullies the might of a Jr Troopa," Jr Troopa called out as he attacked both Robin and Bario.
"I am afraid this is where it ends," Rosa called out while readying her beam spell. "I am going to enjoy this," Ashley called out as she was getting ready to cast her dark spell. At the count of three both Ashley and Rosa unleashed their respective spells as the two combined to form a beautiful beam of light and darkness swirling amongst one another. The beam crashed into Jr Troopa causing great pain to Jr. Troopa. What finally defeated Jr Troopa was when both Mario, Robin, and Bario unleashed consecutive melee attacks which caused Jr. Troopa to faint to the ground with a thud.
"Looks like we missed all the fun," Peach said as her, Daisy, Luigi, Wario, and Peasly joined up with the rest of the group each of them holding something in there hand.

"So what did everybody find?" Rosa asked. Daisy was the first to present what she found which was a treasure map of some type. "This map was just lying around in the open," Daisy said surprised. "Look what I have here," Peach said as she held a golden star in her hand. "The mushroom is a decoy and is meant to fool intruders and Bowser," Peach said coily. "So pretty much Bowser actually, made a mistake by not taking you," Bella asked while Peach nooded yes. "What about everybody else what did you find?" Bario asked. "It can wait," Luigi said. Just as Peach and everyone was done speaking the Golden star began circling around Mario before it reached the top of his head. Yawn that was a nice nap. (Looks around and notices guest). Wait you mean me actually, made it to this part in the story. Sorry folks give a few moments to prepare myself (Picks up script and begins reading). Sorry for the delay folks here we go.
What started as just another normal day for Mario quickly became one of his more random journeies ever. First he meets a mysterious traveler by the name of Rosa and he even encounters stranger pair. A youth by the name of Robin and his pet a talking Robin by the name of Flan. Mario was able to obtain the golden star after repelling an assault from Trojan Bowser 2.0 and an odd pair of Bowser Jr and Mario's old rival Jr. Troopa. Thankfully on this journey Mario will have help from some old friends, Gommbario, Goombella, Daisy, Starlow, and Prince Peasely, an old rival in Wario, a young witch in training who's been glued to Robin since they first met in Ashley, his brother in Luigi, Peach who Bowser didn't take this time around, and a couple of strange travelers in Rosa and Robin
Yet a lot of questions still remain. What is Bowser planning to do with the golden objects? Why should Mario be aware of someone with chlortles and fury? Who is the goddess known as Anna? Who is Robin and how does he factor into everything? And finally why does Rosa seem so familiar? These are questions that will hopefully be answered as Mario begin his journey to seek the golden objects to prevent the awaking of Anna and whatever destruction she may rain. He is that prince Luma let's see what he's doing here.

Location; Town Square After susccefully collecting the first golden object Mario and friends made their way to the center of Toad Town. When all of a sudden a little yellow star like object bumbed right into Mario. "Mario......is......missing..." the yellow star like being called out. "Calm down its okay," Peach told the being. "You must be Prince Luma, I remember you were traveling with Mario, until me reunited you with your mom Rosalina," Peach said while Rosa had a look of no on her face. "Oh Prince Luma I remember him, even if it was for a short time," Luigi said making his way to the front. "What seems to be the problem?" Peach asked Prince Luma. "Mama.......Rosalina..... missing......Mario.....help......Prince....Luma....find..mama," Prince Luma said in response. "Not good I never expected Prince Luma to follow me, sigh maybe I can just play it off," Rosalina thought. Mario was about to offer to help Prince Luma find his mother Rosalina before Prince Luma cut him off. "Mama.....close....Prince.....Luma....senses," Prince Luma said floating around the group. "Mama.....," Prince Luma called out as he floated throughout the group before stopping in front of Rosa. "Mama....?" Prince Luma asked staring at Rosa. "Mama......is....that.....you...?" Prince Luma asked Rosa floating closer towards Rosa. "I am sor sorry Prince Luma, but I don't know where your mother is but Rosali...I mean Mario would be happy to help you find her," Rosa said even more desperately as Prince Luma floated even closer. "Mama....Rosalina......Prince.....Luma....scared....bad...thing......happened," Prince Luma said as he went in for an embrace. "I am not your mother, I am just some traveler, who's following Mario," Rosa said in one final attempt. "Waaaa......Prince....Luma.....sad....Mama.....hate......me," Prince Luma said while he started to cry. Rosalina feeling bad about making Prince Luma sad placed him in a motherly hug. "Its okay son mother is here I am not mad at you but that brother of yours has a lot of explaining to do," Rosalina said as a soft light enveloped her. There was a collective gasp coming from the crowd as Mario,Luigi Peach, and Starlow slowly began to realize who Rosa was. "Mama.....let's......go......home," Prince Luma said. "Son I can't do that Mario, and his friends need my help besides would you like to join Mama as we travel with Mario," Rosalina asked as Prince Luma nodded?? his head yes. As the light faded away Rosalina was standing in front of the group with her sky blue gown, and her long flowing blondish hair with her bang covering her left eye. "Looks like the cats out of the bag," Rosalina said turning towards the crowd. Mario, Luigi, and Peach were stunned, Daisy and Starlow were unsure what to say or do, Ashley stared in mock amazement, Robin and Flan stared away sheepishly. As the screen faded to black (End of Scene) |

I enjoy it a lot. I love how lighthearted it is, it's really refreshing. Also, I like the BGM thing a lot too (I was kinda hoping for the Paper Mario 64 Chapter End theme though).

I enjoy it a lot. I love how lighthearted it is, it's really refreshing. Also, I like the BGM thing a lot too (I was kinda hoping for the Paper Mario 64 Chapter End theme though). At the time I kinda of forgot what the end of chapter for PM 64 was and the one for TTYD just always stuck out for me. But when I was deciding for the official theme it was a toss up between this one and You got a Pure Heart (Super Paper Mario). I was actually wondering if there was a way to blend all three of them together. Yet I am glad you enjoy the BGM b/c to me that's almost as important to me as the characters and story. I think it really helps set the tone for the encounter or situation. Believe or not some of the choices I made regarding the bosses and what forms and how many forms came directly, from how could I work in certain songs Don't worry though we are about to encounter the first chapter antagonist soon and anyone who's played PM 64 will know who they are. Oh and they have that wonderful boss music of theirs too. But maybe if no one minds we can keep a rotating door of music w/ TTYD coming 1st then the next one could be PM 64 and then switch back to PM TTYD music for the end of chapter. (I don't know why but I just love that End of Chapter from PM TTYD) |

Finally on the part of it being light hearted I was really trying to capture that charm from the Paper Mario series/ M&L series too. Too me those games always had a charm to them and I loved how it could tell a story but do it in a way where there was plenty of humor and charm along the way.
I am glad it has the same type of charm and humor and that they are people out there enjoying it.

Scene; A lone Fletching is the middle of darkness. It notices the camera and as it flies away a feather sweeps the screen gradually revealing the darkness and showing Rosalina and Flanna walking in the town center. Time; Earlier in the day during the support conversations but after Rosalina x Robin C. Location; A house in Ylisstle
The scene is two little red headed girls waiting for their older sister to get home. While their mother watches over them also silently worrying about her oldest daughter coming home. "Mom is big sis almost here," Goddess Anna (GA) asked her mother (MA). "Yeah its not like her to be this late," Flanna (FA) said very upset. "Quite down children she will be fine, surely something important is keeping her but nothing more then that," MA told her children. "Could it be bandits, or something worse?" GA pondered out loud. "Waahh big sis could be dead," FA said while crying out loud. "Aww don't worry little sis she should be fine, if anything I feel sorry for those bandits," GA said as she went over to comfort FA. As GA was col forging her little sister the door knob to there house slowly turned and eventually, opened. In walks in a teenage girl who bears a striking resemblance to the two sister with the exception that her hair is a dark blue instead of red.
"Sissy," GA and FA called out as they went over and gave their sister a big hug. "Have you two been good today?" Anna? (A?) asked the two little girls. "Yeah but FA was worried about you she even started crying," GA said in a mocking way. "No I wasn't, you big meanie, I just had something in my eye," FA said rubbing her eyes. "Aww that's so sweet I actually have a couple of presents for you," A? said as she reached into her bag and pulled out a couple of objects. "First you our Lil sis here you go," A? said as she handed FA a big teddy bear which was wearing a non descriptive necklace. "Aw this is all for me thank you sis," FA said as she placed the necklace around her neck and gave her teddy bear a big hug. "I am glad you like them so much," A? said towards the happy FA. "Hey what about me?" GA asked her big sister.
"I got something special for you as A? showed her little sister the bracelet she was wearing. " Aww that's so pretty, it looks so cute on you," GA said while looking at her sisters bracelet. "Well look at what I got you," A? said as she handed GA a similar bracelet of her own. "Aww you are the best big sis I can't wait to wear it," GA said as she put on the bracelet. "Hey why does she get the pretty bracelet?" FA asked. "Because I am older and more mature," GA said in a mocking matter. "Now you two its bed time, say goodnight to your sister," MA told her two children. "Aww okay good night sis, see you in the morning," GA and FA said as they gave their sister a hug and made their way upstairs.
