I might be pushing this to much, but we simpy must.
Perhaps I've been playing to much SWTOR, but this should happen.
Any era, time or place.
Although it would have to be after Austur and Sithis(which will be a loooooooong time) I've even predetermined my Character.
whoever decides to take this up, I'm willing to help.

I don't know I am already in one role play I know little about. I kind of know star wars but only about the stuff from star wars 4-6 and even those films I know little about. I know next to nothing outside of that including the different species, back stories anything like that

Yeah the lore is pretty huge with all the EU books and games I get all my knowledge from wookieepedia.
There's a lot of eras to choose from though
Mandalorian Civil War- time when the Jedi were hesitant to fight in a war
There's another event but I'll skip that.
The rest era are categorized in games, the movies, and books.
But I understand where you're coming from though.
The key is to take it one step at a time.
