"Avenicci, you really need to learn to stand up for yourself, no matter who it is you're talking to. No one benefits from you always backing down and taking orders. Sometimes, everyone needs to be challenged," she said sincerely, "Don't forget that."

"Oh really?" Avenicci smiled as he dusted himself off before rushing to Lorelei's side and playfully putting his arm around her shoulder. "Soooooo, tell me some more of this 'common sense'."

"They can't be honest with themselves." Siegemund said lowly.
He had the sudden urge to sing, but decided against.
He found the act made forging easier. He closed the spell tome and hid it in his satchel.
He leaned back in the bed, and sighed.
"Is there anything to do." He mused.
The door opened and seemed to be the new trend of late, opening his door.
"Siggy." And instantly did he know who it was.
He scrambled from the bed and started to throw the satchel under, "Uh Nephle, how is it going?" He chuckled nervously.
"Hiding something are we? I bet its one of those trashy books some of the men around here read, something maid I believe." Nephle snorted.
"I would think that I'm old enough to not read that crap." Siegemund retorted.
"I know, but I love teasing you." The imperial woman grinned.
"Sarcasm is my twin I'll have you know, beware." He warned, dramatically flailing his arms.
The youth stepped on the satchels rope and tripped, smashing into the floor.
Nephle's roaring laughter was all he heard as he groaned.
"Nine divines..." He groaned and rolled around, he was still sore from training.
"Impressive." She snickered.
He opened one azure eye to glower at her, " I'll kill you." He growled.
She was out the room before he could get to his feet.
"I'll get you!" He yelled, rushing down the halls.
Nephle was out of the Mead bar and on the streets just as he stumbled again.
"I hate you." He whimpered.
Nephle leaned down over him and shook her head, holding out her hand.
"Here." She offered. He grabbed her arm and pulled her down with triumph.
"Win." He bellowed.
Bahrain stepped out, lioked at them, and then rolled his eyes.
"Get a room." He practically growled and stepped back inside.
"Jealous." Nephle insisted.
"I already have a room." Siegemund shouted.
Abheim made no effort to reply.
He rolled to his feet and helped his friend stand up.
"I feel a lot better." He said, rolling his shoulders.

"Of course, you obviously need someone to enlighten you," she said as she kept walking, not even bothering to move Avenicci's arm, "First lesson; it's a bad idea to put your arms around my shoulders, unless you want to lose an arm for some reason."

Just to spite Avenicci after he made that comment, Lorelei turned around and showed him a large smile. Or maybe it was more of a maniacal grin.
Is he implying that I hate men? That's not the case, I hate all people equally. Except for Cor, I hate him more than anyone else.
