The Bosmer watched, impressed as the mixed blood hit the floor. It reminded him of his own family, his brothers that fought in the battle of solsteihm. Siegemund finally collapsed, and sprawled to the floor unconscious.
The Elf let out a breath as he walked over and opened the door. "Companion down!" He yelled, waiting for a healer to come. It took awhile, but they managed to drag the youth back to his bed and heal him.
Siegemund awoke hours later, his body sore. Another memory had resurfaced, revealing he had trained at the imperial academy. He let out a breath as he sat up rubbing his aching arms. "Darn." He swore, and tried to get off the bed. He fell and hit the floor hard.
He gritted his teeth and stood up slowly. He crashed into the floor again and layed there as the door opened revealing Bela. "Get back in bed, you exhausted yourself." She said sharply.
"Yeah? Well I think I'll be alright." He chuckled. The woman walked over and with strength that shouldn't have been hers lifted him on the bed. "That's an order." She retorted.
He waited for her to leave, but she didn't. "Your mission is being out off a few days. Training for you is postponed as well." She informed, leaving the room. "Not if I can help it." Siegemund thought.
He closed his eyes and fell asleep again. Nephle peeked her head through the door, careful not to let her Nordic carved armor scrape the door. "You need a babysitter." She said to herself.
Siegemund opened his eyes and grinned. "I do." He laughed out loud.

"Next time don't suggest that I should be cooking for you, or anything like that. Now get up, and leave me alone," she said.

"Okay." He muttered as he walked over to the corner and sat down with his head between his knees.

Siegemund awoke 2 hours later still feeling sore but better. He trudged out of bed and dressed in his armor. Afterwards, he opened the door and walked down the hall. "Good to feel better." He smiled, before Nephle stepped in his way.
"Stubborn aren't we? " she asked.
He shrugged, it was better to agree. "Always." He replied knowingly. The two walked down the halls and stopped at the bar. "How old are you?" He asked suddenly.
"Its rude to ask a woman her age." Nephle retorted. He rolled his eyes and watched her down a bottle of mead. He looked down and noticed there was no cloth where her legs were at. "Merchant, pervert probably wanted to stare at my legs." She snorted.
He eyed her legs with interest before a hand pulled his face upwards. "Focus." She told him with a hint of annoyance. He flushed and turned towards the bartender who chuckled. "Water." He called out gruffly.
The bartender tossed him over a glass and he downed it in one gulp. "Thanks."he replied. The rest of the day was spent sneaking glances at Nephle's thighs and pretending he wasn't.

He's so spineless. When will he learn that you should stand up for yourself?
Lorelei quietly went back to cleaning her weapons. Once she was done, she picked up the spare weapons she kept, and put them down in front of Avenicci.
"Our attempts to find information might have failed, but we can still get something done today. Pick whatever weapons you want, we'll go hunting and let you practice different strategies for combat."

"I-I don't use weapons." Avenicci muttered as he picked up a sword for a second before putting it back.

"What happens if you run out of magicka in a fight?" she asked.

"P-Potions, powders, tools, and um, running away?" Avenicci bit his lip as he waited for the harsh mistress known as Lorelei to berate him. "I still have a specialized ancient crossbow that I can use. It's been in my family for generations."

"Are you good with a crossbow?" she asked.

"Somewhat." Avenicci's voiced wavered as she leaned in closer to him, employing the Johnson technique. "It's very small though, easily concealed. I don't really use it for combat. It's not going to break through any armor, but it's durable and can fold."

Hours later and a sore arm, the Nordic leggings had been finally complete. One spike stood out where the knee cap was and padding underneath so it would not affect his legs or knee at all. "what are those for again?" Siglund asked. Siegemund turned around and chuckled, "If i fall i can thrust my knee into a surface provided it isn't hard enough, and stick there. im working on similar things for the arm guards." he explained.
Siglund nodded approvingly, "You're better at this than i thought,Siegemund. prevents the whiplash from breaking your spine." the Grey-Mane replied. "I'm a Grey-mane partially, So what can i say?" he grinned. Siglund let out a hearty laugh as he slapped him on the back.hard. Siegemund was thankful that the training from before had strengthed him so the sting didn't hurt as much as before.
"Dinner is tonight, be there." Siglund said seriously and went to the Skyforge, removing the leggings and setting back to work. "Alright." Siegemund smiled slightly as he disappeared. once in his room, he opened a spell tome and set to work taking notes.

"Could you try using it today? If you're decent with a crossbow, I'll make you a stronger one that can be used in normal combat, and you can keep the old one for other situations," Lorelei said.

"O-Okay." Avenicci responded as he pulled out the small crossbow in the folds of his fancy outdoor tunic.
The device itself was only the size of a small plate, but he pushed a small button located on its underside that caused it to expand into a weapon that could be wielded in one hand.

"That crossbow's advantage is clearly in it's design and portability. It's very interesting..." Lorelei said before snapping out of it and grabbing her own bow. "There should be plenty of game just outside of the city's walls. Let's go."

"Okay." Avenicci muttered as he stood up and pressed the crossbow again, causing it to fold back up.

Siegemund flicked his hand, watching as a small flame appeared. "Finally." He muttered, and released the magic. He had finally deciphered the instructions on the spell tome. And he had no other missions currently.
He stood up and inspected the lance he had. There was no strange writing on it like Stardust had. "Intriguing." He murmured to himself. He picked up the sword, stepped outside the Horrvaskr and threw the sword as far as he could manage. Stardust blinked from existence and he was surprised to find the sword back in his left hand.
"Seems bound to me." He noted. He decided I TES tthe theory and plunged the blade intontheground ground. He walked outside Whiterun, another flash and the blade was once more in his hand. This time he noticed the words on the blade flew before dimming. "Nice." He smirked, and walked back into Whiterun.
The guards stepped to the side, watching him carefully. He passed the general merchant store and glanced up at the sky, it was getting late. He decided to be early for the family dinner and made his way towards the Grey-Mane household.

Once they were outside of the city, Avenicci followed Lorelei as she looked for signs of animals. They had been following a trail, hoping to find a fox, and before long they did. She signaled for Avenicci to be quiet, and they took a few more steps before they could clearly see the fox, which was standing by the edge of a stream, and wasn't aware of their presence yet. She signaled Avenicci again, this time to tell him to try to kill the fox with his crossbow.

Avenicci slowly raised the miniature crossbow with both hands as he aimed just above the vulpine. He slowly squeezed the trigger until a small bolt flew from the weapon and its tip fractured to reveal a claw-like mechanism that opened up imbedded itself in te fox's side, killing it instantly.

"Not bad. How about we see if you can repeat that, to make sure it wasn't a fluke?" she said as she started looking for other signs of wildlife. "And even if it was a fluke, with some practice you could probably make that a regular thing."

"I'm not really that good with hunting, and these bolts aren't designed for killing." Avenicci tried to remind Lroelei to back out.
