Demespira, the primeval continent, bordering the expansive continent of Shamaldria to the west across the Alvehera Desert and the wild lands of Lorenzi to the south past the Tangaro channel, has long been dominated by conflict. The diverse peoples of Demespira are no strangers to strife from raiding demons, dark cultists, and national friction, there is no shortage of enemies to be wary of. While their differences have been sited as the cause of much suffering, the varied peoples, places and ideas are also the realm's greatest strength as the land is dotted with sights unique and wonderous. Since Sherrin, the first Saint of Sythia, sealed away the tyrannical wyrm Hannrir with the Fire Emblem the people's great faith in the ancient dragons and the power of the relics they left behind inspire both the majesty and savagery of the land. Freshly saved from a crisis that sent the continent on the brink of destruction the people have slowly but, surely begun to rebuild, from the sands of Al Nekith to the darkened shores of Komor. For the first time in as long as anyone can well remember a generation has been born onto a Demespira at peace amongst this host of hopeful souls a child of Elvet, the great walled city-state of Dùthgaul. You stand amongst a crowd waiting to hear from the King to mark the start of the remembrance festival.
