Session(s) Summary for session(s) 5! ...and 6?
-We pick back up where session 4 left off, off screen personal stuff happens in between -Velka tells us the names and locations of the candidates she was considering for these iconships -Adam seems interested in the Beast Lord, an escaped experiment -Velka seems to have an idea in mind for the Princess of Dreams. Wants her kind, some other misc. flattering adjectives, and cute as a button. Everyone seems to hone in on Lucca. Except for Lucca. -"btw if you try to accept an iconship from attuning to items you're not worthy of, you wind up like Alice over there"
-Next morning starts with Fenia getting a lovely phonecall from Aimie. -She's not mad that Velka took the collar for Tanith, just disappointed. She wants Velka to know that. -Fenia figures Velka knows that. -She expects Fenia to deliver on that quest in three months from this day. If she does, then Aimie will owe her a favour. Otherwise... -Figures that bracelet Towa's companion gave us might prolongue things a bit. -Aimie fancies herself the queen of evil. Ain't gonna question her. -Says Alistar's her friend because he's a nice guy. Gave her some food and water even though she looked kinda dirty in the form she decided to take that evening. Nothing more. PURE. Nothing to see here obv. -Fenia does not fess up about any of this, but she does promise that she'll say if anything happens.
-We learn how Alice's condition was caused by the previous Dark Master. He's kind of a dick. -About to say our goodbyes and head back to Axis when an ambush happens right in Velka's throne room. -Dank Mistress Velka hotboxes the place with herself to provide some cover. -Some kinda demonic assassins. She tells us to take Lucca and get out with her safe. Even gives back Lucca's sword and shield. Though she's still without her armour. -They have metal collars with similar runes to Fenia and Tanith's. -There's a hellhole that they're pouring in through. -Greil determined these are Griffith's, the Blood Knight's. -We break out of the main room, head down to the next floor. -Meanwhile, Astrid and Goat-rider Priscilla are breaking out of the funchambers post torture sesh. -Priscilla really keeping that job position.
-Next floor. -Nekked Demonia cornered by the assassins. Also there's knights mixed in. -Ah hell naw. -Party goes ham on the invaders, get Demonia out there. -Reach the ground floor, rendezvousing with Astrid. -Invaders surrounding guard captain Cateva and her assistants, Huga and Munann. -Our tour-guide, Rynora, among the piles of bodies stacked as a defensive barrier. -These invaders have very obviously come prepared to perma-kill demons. As a kindness, Cateva finishes off a wounded Munann so she can respawn. -We get in a long fight to secure the ground floor. Fenia dropping what's left of her spells, Mose and Adam shooting and slicing their way through, Lucca and Greil taking all the hits, Tanith dishing out the heals and attacks of opportunity, Demonia and Cateva keeping the situation in control. Realising that Velka is finally on her way to clean house, Astrid gets stricken by the first and some heads roll. -Smashing success! Off to save Towa. But not before Demonia gets a blanket to cover her shame.
-Heading towards the general area of moonpool, we find Towa and a handful of kobolds fighting off these assassins. -Her cadre is nowhere to be found. -The kobolds die instantly, but buy us enough time to roll in and save the icon. -Towa saw this coming, of course. Asks us if we're on the thread where we go to the ship, where we go to moonpool, or where we go to the hellhole. -Guess the ship it is. -Stop to check on Alice. Alice is fine. IOU on giving her headpats. -Stop to check on Sherk. Sherk valiantly fought off the invaders, but it cost him his life. Cried.
-Make it to the plaza. Battle still raging. Cateva and Demonia rallying the villagers to flee into Velka's tower. -Paladin lady blocking the docks. About to burn down our ride out of here. -NOT SO FAST. -Bumrush the paladin. Greil pins her down so we can go ham. Hellholes opening up everywhere. -Blossoms springing out from trees, plants and bugs explode a few of the portals. -Thanks to our teamwork, a touch of Demonia's tricks, Lucca covering the rear, Towa, and the sudden appearance of the Untamed, we make it on the high seas to Axis.

Small corrections.
-Muga and Hunaan. -Those little portals weren't Hellholes, just mini-portals spawned by twisting the Hellhole's energy. Well I guess technically they'd be Hellholes...? -Towa asked whether it was the ship, the Hellhole, or Moonwreck. Moonpool's where you were. -Towa's cadre weren't nowhere to be found, she had them attempt to spawnkill BK when he showed up to pull this shit. -Nekkid Demonia wasn't cornered by the assassins. The assassins were corned by Nekkid Demonia. -Aimie wasn't 'just disappointed' with Velka's BS. She was legit impressed and wanted Fen to pass on an actual compliment. A very rare thing to get from Aimie. -Demonia did not get a blanket to cover her shame, it was to cover her glory. -You're sailing down a ripher, not the high seas. -I said 'plants and vines' but yeah bugs too.

Plans for next session:
Broad consensus - Talk to Lucca and affirm certain possibilities from her. Make sure she sticks close to the party and doesn't go straight back home, both out of concern for her well-being in case Josephine sees fit to dispose of her, and because she is an asset.
Dandy's suggestion - Use the BK Paladin's armour as a disguise to set-up Josephine, by posing as a conspirator making a report to her.
Punk's plan(?): Wants to go to the music store. Thinks we could sneak into the castle and clonk Josephine on the head, take her back for questioning. Lucca's approval pending.
Neo's plan(?): Stop by the arena.
GX's plan(?): Follow the Thread on Lucca, talk to Towa. HEAVY IMPLICATIONS FROM CROW she may or may not have seen: The Fateweaver(s) could possibly view the origin of the letter which Lucca seemed to right. Making a fake Tarrasque totem could be used to flaunt to the right people to assess involvement.
Someone else's plan(?): Stop by the library/bookstore.
Cheese's plan: Case the alleyways a bit for suspicious activity between the castle and any shady, slummy areas. Especially for someone matching Josephine's description going out for secret dealings.
Possible leads:
-Both Velka's captivity and the binding of these werewolves and seekers from the hellholes involved magitek. -Alistar's death was followed up by necromancy. Not many people besides the seemingly innocent Aimie could be implicated in that.

General rumors: The demons captured trying to save Velka are being tried tomorrow, private court session in the palace. Red, Longbeard, and the two elf candidates are still in town. Flood of rumors about DM being captured and Lucca being kidnapped, including a few saying she went willingly/helped Velka escape GO was asked to stay until HK returned, like LB and Red. She refused. How dare she.

Summary stuff!
The party meets back up at Sefa's shop, finds she and Adam have been having a good time for 33 hours straight. Giggity. Lots of teasing ensues.
The party goes to find Saya Celeste, she's staying in Henry's Inn. We have a chat that starts off really awkward. Greil ends up being party face for the conversation. Tanith has fun talking to Saya. Greil ends up being a little dense, gets shot the glare of all glares from Tanith. Tanith realizes with horror that she might be turning into her mother(Who is apparently far worse than Actual Satan).
We agree to help Saya get ahead of her biggest rival for the High Elf Iconship, one Ievus something or other who's basically the CEO of TMDF Walmart and is the biggest slimeball in the world. We need to delay his return to the Queenswood by a few days, so we go to his main warehouse in town to ruin his day.
Tanith distracts Ievus and leads him away, while the rest of the party sneaks into the warehouse. Voyage puts the nearest guard to sleep and Fenia casts Ritual Color Spray, dousing the whole warehouse in multi-color graffiti and doing minor damage. We get away without being seen.
Meanwhile, poor Tanith puts up with the biggest, most elfy-elf asshole Slimeball and she is reminded why she *fucking hates* most other High Elves. He hits on her, she trips him in the fountain right in front of the palace, causing a big scene. She escapes in the chaos and meets back up with the party at the north gate to Axis. Saya gives us the Glass Slippers and promises her aid when she becomes Icon. Sherk the Shitbird annoys Spriggan the Bestbird a little too much and gets swatted out of the air. Voyage is very upset and insults Spriggan and Saya. Greil manages to smooth things over, keeping the newfound alliance intact.
Party decides to go their separate ways again and meet up back in the morning to go searching for Red. It's not going to be difficult to find her. Greil and Tanith leave together, and he helps Tanith get the slime off(It's exactly as giggity as you think).
Meanwhile, at the Dark Mistress's BDSM Yuri Tower....
Hunann comes back from the pits much earlier than expected, thanks to the help of a new guy cutting in front of the lines from hell. Alighieri, level 11 silver haired badass hot guy with the Archangel's sword. He's refined and cultured and pushes all of Astrid's buttons in all the right ways. He becomes the new Guard Captain, and he and Astrid very quickly bond.
Fast forward a couple days, and emissaries from the Savage Lord show up unannounced at the tower. They thought it would be faster to kill the demon diplomats and send them back to the pits. Plebs. Astrid and Ali escort them to meet Velka, who fills them in on the Blood Knight and his pet Tarrasque. Vugga, chief "Tactician" of the Savage Lord doesn't seem to believe her, Velka brings in Towa to help back her up. SL crew and Towa immediately recognize each other, Vugga says "She belongs to SL" and immediately becomes the second most written name in Astrid's Book of Grudges. Towa apparently used to be a slave to the Savage Lord. They seem to have no idea that Towa is an Icon now. Vugga agrees to put the issue aside for now and report back to SL. The Gorrilla Orc, Garga the butch human slave, and SKRAAAAAAAAAAAA the female Fateweaver Kobold stay behind. Everyone gets shown to their rooms. Velka and Towa have a quick private chat about freeing the demon prisoners, and Towa wants Astrid and Garga to go to Glitterhaegan and meet up with the Heroes(Party A) and bring them back to the tower. Velka flies off to Horizon, leaving the tower with... Priscilla in charge for 3 days. Welp. Hopefully things will be fine.
Astrid and Towa have a private chat with a half-naked bound Towa. Unfortunately, it does not go full giggity. Astrid was too preoccupied and worried and I couldn't figure out the right opportunity to make things happen. Oh well, probably for the best.
Things Astrid and Towa talked about: Towa's time as a slave, Alighieri could become a perverted demon-version of the Archangel that would split Velka's Iconship(Potentially making them both stronger, but making Velka in charge of Devils and Ali in charge of Demons, like Prince of Beasts and Untamed). Also the succession of the Archangel is erratic, so it might not go to his kids but someone who actually hated demons or worse, which would obviously be problematic to Velka and Astrid. But it's fine so long as he only has the sword.
Towa and Astrid do have some bonding time, she gives Astrid a GO bracelet like the main party has, and tells Astrid she's not nearly as evil as she thinks. Astrid is confused and conflicted, but has a pretty big realization, so all in all lots of character development for her. Astrid goes off to sleep and leaves in the morning, grumpy and worried. The end.

Summary time!
Convince Sefa and Lucca to go talk to HK. Find Red beating up gangs. Help her out, take her back to inn, tell her lots of stuff. She flies away to confront Josephine. Fenia listens in with magic while the rest of the party splits. Party meets back up at Sefa's store after 1&1/2 hours. Fenia tells the party what she heard, apparently it was HK himself who ordered the hit on Alistar, Josephine just wrote the letter. According to her. May or may not be lying. Red finds us easily, brief talk before she gets ordered back to Drakkenhall by one of Deghinsea's Organization 6. Uber stronk black dragon in black hooded cloak.
Tanith saw more Org members coming. Half of party waits for Sefa, other half goes to get a caravan to Glitterhaegan. We get the Bladed Fan, convince Sefa to skip town. Greil namedrops a town named Pith and tells Sefa to go there if she thinks her life is in danger.
5 days on the road to Glitterhaegan. Greil spends a fairly large amount of time while in the wagon in stasis, which is an extremely deep meditative state(But not the whole time, I'm retconning that bit).
We get to Glitterhaegan, pass through the checkpoint easily, Mos sees an old friend named Tallen(Mos ship?). Greil goes to get an audience with Malatyne, easily does so and skips the waiting line. He and Malatyne know each other from years ago. Voyage, Greil, and Tanith go shopping for nice clothes.
Meeting with Malatyne begins, she's pretty awesome, negotiations with her go well, we trade the Glass Slippers for her Greatvine Anklet, we hold onto the Bladed Fan for now. She wants our help with a dangerous mission while she thinks about our offer of an alliance, but wants to test the party's strength in a sparring match first. Malatyne's magic is chaotic and unpredictable and can cause changes to a character's appearance, but thankfully they are always temporary. Greil refuses however, he doesn't need anything else weighing on his mind before a dangerous mission. Malatyne is fine with this, she knows Greil can take care of himself. Next session will be sparring match with Malatyne and probably dungeon time.

Draft of Eschaton: Immediately end all ongoing damage and effects, pass all saves for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, pass a DC 30 CON check or be too dehabilitated to fight the rest of the day.
Midnight Tincture x2: Creates a small cloud of darkness (range 10); all non-Drow take -4 to hit in the cloud.
Potion of Spider Climbing x2: For 5 minutes, can climb on walls and ceilings as easily as walking.

Summary!
-Malatyne brings us into the main room of her manor for our duel. -She goes a couple rounds against us 1 vs. 6 and then when she decides we work well enough with things going smoothly, makes things a little crazier. -Everyone becomes a Malatyne (except Greil) and she generates 4 copies of herself. -A couple other crazy effects, like taking snowballing damage everytime we make a statement instead of ask a question. -Still win in the end, so she asks us to go investigate a dungeon with some gang hiding out in it, selling drugs from under the city. -We bust in, beat up a few oozes and rust monsters. Adam gets his armour destroyed. -Seems like they were being intentionally kept there. -Mosernet tries sneaking into the boss chamber, gets caught and has to bluff her way out. -Ends up rendezvousing with the rest of the party in the church, after a fight broke out between her, the thugs, the head priest and her friend Tallen. -Thugs led by a Drow woman who know Voy somehow. Hates his guts. -But she died! Yay, secrets kept! -Tallen retrieved Malatyne, who showed up just as we won. Now Malatyne is promising some gifts. -Must be in a good mood since she'll have every item necessary to become an icon, having found a swanky new dress.
-She gives us all the magic items and some gold. We watch her attune to the iconic magic items. -Time gets all fucky. We're transported into town where a fight's going on. Malatyne transforming into a bunch of different dragons. Very meatbaggy demonbois surrounding her. -We fight a bunch off but they keep showing up. Eventually, Team Z pops into help. -Also the High King. With some elite dragon riders. And Velka. -And now we gotta choose which cardinal direction to flee in, which also picks our next icon helper(s)!(?)
-R and Z team join forces to repel the attackers on Malatyne. -Towa and Rose show up just in time to help us eke out the win. -Big abomination krakens still looming over us. -Cavalry arrives: Longbeard and his cannoneer, Sefa, Josephine and an imperial dragon rider we have yet to identify, Aimie, the Untamed, Velka, Cateva. -They go do battle with the monsters while we huddle into Malatyne's mansion and have some talks.
