So you're playing an Izzet Wizentist (Wizard Scientist)? Precisely.

Hmm, I think if I go Necromancer and someone else goes Bard, Commander, or Both, we could field an unstoppable army. Or I could go Demonologist if Necromancy is too spoopy

8-base point buy like from the SRD, 10-base like we use in Schism, or roll for stats? 4d6dl, assign however you want. Abouts how long has this Blood Knight been doing his crusading? Since the 6th age. The Blood Knight does not die. The Blood Knight is the armor, the axe, and the authority. The person inside is trivial. GX says she's going to make a character whose OUT is "blipping in and out". Aw, I was going to use GX as a conspirator. I guess it's fine. And what about non-standard races in this setting like Lizardfolk, Merfolk, and Ratfolk? Merfolk are fine, you'll need to link me the ratfolk, and no on the lizardfolk because honestly that's better DPS than an unarmed monk if you ignore talents and whatnot.

Actually, that might get messy. I'll look at some Vault classes.

She can secretly (or not so secretly now) be a traitor who stabs us in the back and becomes the BBEG for the campaign.

Hmmmm, if I play a Commander, I can order Cheese to attack, and then he can order his golem thing to attack.

Can we roll 4d6, and if we get bad rolls, go with the point buy system instead? Or do we get rerolls? Getting screwed over by RNG is never a fun thing.
Edit: Also, remember when you guys roll 4d6 to drop the lowest die from each roll.

Cheese, are you going to be like a little Gnome riding on your Arcanifex's shoulder?

Cheese, are you going to be like a little Gnome riding on your Arcanifex's shoulder? Halfling, plan is to do sometimes riding, sometimes separate (can use it as an anchor to cast spells from its location once per day or have it pull enemies away from me.

Cool. So, after looking at some Vault classes, I'll either go Fury (maybe multiclassed), Commander (probably multiclassed), or Necromancer (single-classed). Depends on what other people decide on.

Player link now up: app.roll20.net/join/4307226/6wgVdQOnce you join, you'll need to let me know so I can make your character sheet. I'm going to start looking through the stuff people've already sent in next. Then start filling in the world events.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to fit my character into the story. Mind if I PM you about some details?

Crow, I'm always down for plotting and conspiring. PMs here or DMs on Discord work. Lemme know where you could use me in the campaign, and we'll talk. I'll be off in about four hours and can go over things then.

Update: we're doing stats different than I said before. 4d6, reroll 1's, drop lowest. The command on R20's /roll 4d6r<1d1

Update: we're doing stats different than I said before. 4d6, reroll 1's, drop lowest. The command on R20's /roll 4d6r<1d1 That works a lot better. Thanks, Birb. Could you edit the join link into the first post? I won't be able to join until tomorrow when I have my laptop. But my character sheet will be finished pretty quickly. If you're okay with the stuff I sent you, then I just need to pick out forms, do macros, and find a token and I'll be done. Are we aiming for next weekend to start?

To clarify, an Icon Relationship doesn't need to be directly to the icon. Especially for the less personable ones. You don't need to have met Lulavela to have pissed her off, killing a zombie at some point is plenty. Honestly in her case your existence is more than sufficient to qualify for 3 negative ranks. Maybe you did personally meet Towa when she scared off some big cat that was going to eat you or something. But you could just as easily justify having a rank or two's worth of 'in' with Ingram because you have a buddy that works at the castle as a member of the royal guard or something.
