So no Dragon then? Waah, I was hoping to have a father son battle with Bahamut, or something like that. Meanies. Fine, I'll be a stupid Dragoon. What's the point of a fantasy RP if you can't live out your fantasy? !_!

Heyheyhey it's important to the overarching plot, alright.
However, your wish could come true at the very end.

Yeah, but there is a difference. I'm Neo. THE Neo. And I love dragons. Seriously. You can't even comprehend my love of dragons. Don't feel bad though, most can't.
And Golurk.... You're seriously decreasing the odds of me joining. I'm already so damn busy I can barely find the time to update my own CYOA. You want me to join, then I'm going to need an incentive, not just a stupid Dragoon and a possibility of something happening like a minute before the end of the RP.

I am the Emperor king and I can't be a lord, or Knight commander. I'm suppose to be a RULER. you don't understand! I love being of royal blood, but I can't find my sword. I'm constantly being told by my subjects I can't do this,or that! I'm tired of it. Time to take this empire back.

You don't need Knight Commander due to it being largely irrelevant because of the current class list.
However, for you Neo, I'm sure I can work up some shapechanger class. It would be able to transform into most normal monsters in the Bestiary, but in order to do so your character would have to perform the killing blow. Transforming into a monster would give it the monster's stats, but not all of its abilities in order to make Dark Arts and Blue Magic not entirely pointless. I'm not sure how to work on damage calculation in order to keep things from getting imbalanced (due to the fact that monsters have both Strength Stats and Weapon Ratings because of the way damage is calculated). I'll probably just have the shapechanger's weapon be the base for the Weapon Rating, but I'd also have to severely limit weapon possibilities. Which weapon would you prefer: daggers, staves, or whips?
This class would fill an unused niche, unlike the Knight Commander. Tactics classes often don't translate well into the classic style.

Okay.
If you can think up of a unique class that would be easily included, I can put it in the game.

I'll start brainstorming. This is the time where my brain moves from first place on the race track to last.

What exactly are you looking for in a class?

Something unique and with utility. It might be best to start with an ability and build a class from that.

Yay! Shapechanger! Daggers sound good. I already have an awesome backstory in mind.

Yay! Shapechanger! Daggers sound good. I already have an awesome backstory in mind. Okay, a character can change classes at any time outside of battle as long as they have the class unlocked and the stat prerequisites. A few of the classes need to be unlocked, and I'm thinking of adding a hidden superclass as the reward for clearing the last super dungeon that you get after beating all the other big ones that contain the strongest spells and weapons.

Sanguine Sword leeches health, right?
There's already a class with that.

Why not do a judge type class for King like a Paladin but focuses on Black magic instead of white magic? Also how bout Samurai, Gunner, Seer, Alchemist, or Sages class being added?
Finally, a RP I know tons about. Been a FF fan since FF7 and played all of them with the exceptions being FF13 and FF 11. Also played both the original Tactics and the one for the GBA and DS.
So Golurk is this going to be based off an existing place for example Spira, Midgard, or Ivalance? Or something completely new?
Finally Neo, it looks like you already settled on shiftshaper. I was going to suggest maybe a samurai or a ninja so you could be a swordmaster with a 20 ft katana, Silver hair, and a bit of a lone wolf trying to destroy the world.

Now, I could do that, but we already have multiple tank classes including Samurai. Alchemist and Scholar are combined into one class in this, and Gunner is supplemented by Archer. Plus, this is based off of the older games, so there's not much in the ways of technology. I can't remember what Seer is, but we have Oracle.
