Varren was part of the Dark Brotherhood. That, or wacky AxL (AvenicciXLorelei) shenanigans.

This is for science! For evolution, Skyrim's inhabitants can become super soldiers. Think of the possibilities creator. This idea is viable. We can rule over every provinence with my idea. WE NEED POWER!!!!!
* a crazed look is viewable in eyes*
I shall come up with this and spread the serum. Can a daedroth be a spider?

No, just no. I am not taking the blood of an alligator like creature...
What type Of proof do you need for my plan to work Neo? Uesp is hard to find such a thing. Where the heck am I going to find a human being injected With animal DNA? arghhhh, must try.

I thought of something... Don't vampires and werewolfs transfer their DNA to the victim when they turn them? Speaking from scientific fact, uesp is not even needed for this. Of my theory and the spider man theory is correct, then it is completely possible for a genetically altered spider to pass its DNA on to someone, because it is giving half of ots DNA to the victim. The victim is literally swapping half of their DNA for a part of that animals DNA.
Which means my idea is every bit as authentic and possible as yours. Because I'm sure if vampires were real, we would not turn into one.

Actually, vampirism is a disease, like rabies. Lycanthropy and similar conditions are curses.

We have small concrete proof as neither exists. I was just reading about a goat that was implanted with spider genes. An actual goat spider(funny, yes) with means my idea isn't. Ridiculous. If I could create a Mage at the college who is experimenting with spider DNA and have Siegemund inject himself with it, then it really isn't as crazy as you and Neo think. Tbh, I'm surprised that Skrim has a college.
Medieval times had them too, but kinda later. So the idea of a Mage studying something like this isn't far fetched.

Too much DNA splicing would be involved. There's no way anyone at the College would be researching that, it's too advanced for the time period.

Vampirism is a disease in-game. In-game texts refer to lycanthropy as a curse. Their origins also back this up.
Plus, colleges have existed for several thousand years.
Plus, no lore within the games have even suggested DNA is a thing, which also means that no one has any idea that it exists even if it did in-universe. Plus, all living things share 99% of the same DNA, and it wouldn't change anything. Injecting DNA means nothing, and changing it would kill the subject outright.

Emperor, you seem to have missed my earlier point. There is a concrete lore around this RP, because it is directly based off of a game. Everything in the RP is from this lore. If everyone just started posting random stuff, because they thought it would be cool, then the RP wouldn't be a TES RP. For example, I think it would be cool to have Varren be able to transform into a dragon. Except there are no Manaketes in TES, and only the Divines/Princes can appear as dragons.
You have my terms. Find a solid reference or story in TES lore. Otherwise, the answer is no. I am not trying to be an ass, but this is to prevent my RP from disintegrating into chaos. This is a serious RP, not some Fanfiction.net 14 year old comic relief gig.

Also, GX and Golurk make very valid points.
And bzzt. Wrong answer Golurk. Varren was never a member of the Brotherhood.

Were they part of the same adventuring party? Was she a foreign ambassador to his court? Oh, she tried to assassinate him but fell in love with him instead!

Fine. I concede my argument and point. I'll stick to human! Siegemund.

I'm afraid I am not withdrawing from this. I shall spend ample and I mean ample time delving into cross genetics and how to simplify it for a medieval era such as this. I shall end with this. A disease breaks down the immune system. It does indeed change the victims body, but kills them. I'm afraid vampirism in itself is every bit as unrealistic as my idea.
I will not post in Sithis until I find my proof for my idea.

Vampirism is in the lore, and it does make more sense. A disease that mutates certain cells, killing the host, but also maintaining the cell cycles and almost all bodily functions, creating a fake "life".

There are some diseases similar to that that effect insects, but without the widespread mutation.

Also, no mortal created vampirism, which is what you keep comparing the spider thing to. If a mortal can't create the thing closest to it (and it's not even close), how could a mortal do that?

I did not say or even hint a mortal created vampirism. Never mind. I think this RP is getting to me >.> Breaks are always nice. A month or so.

I got a new idea. Can Daedric prince inflict diseases or change DNA slightly?
